All income must be declared to UC like any work you do.

Very helpful, just a quick question when using my ltd to buy things to then hire to my cic. I doubt I will be able to use the funds from the grant to lease the property with my ltd to then hire to my cic. So would I have to use my own money and lease it with my ltd to then hire to the cic?

Hiya, does you Ltd earn other income other than from the cic? The ltd should lease the property. The cic rental will hopfully cover the cost if not the LTD’s other income :)

No it’s a new Ltd. I have just made. But was planning to become director of the cic and pay a salary to myself into the Ltd. If that would work. Of course due to the tax benefits. But if I am a director would I need to be sole proprietorship. Also not wanting to have the two companies similar. It’s all quite confusing
