Did you just bolt the rear spring perch onto the rear traling arm, or did you also weld it in place?

No weld… only glue and bolts…

Hallo, can I ask you which size of tires you have on it?

At the time of shooting this video it was 205/80 R14C Hankook Vantra on the original 2wd 5.5J ET39 R14 rim. Currently, the size is 215 / 80R14C "Toyo H08" on the Syncro 6J ET30 R14 rim + 5mm spacer.

Nice, 2 years later, but.. did you have to change your CV's? or you kept the ones already on the vagon?

Christian cv joint were old original yet. But I have the gearbox and the engine suspended like in Syncro. CV joint has the same working angles as in Syncro. I also have a second fuel tank from Syncro and diff lock. There are now also bigger wheels. 215 / 80R14C toyo H08 on Syncro 6J ET30 rim. This rim is 0.5 inch wider and 9mm outwards compared to the original 2wd rim. There are stainless steel babymoon caps on the rim. The engine is currently 1.9D based on the AAZ block but without the turbo. The intake manifold is from the 1.7D and the exhaust manifold from the 1.6TD jx together with the stainless steel exhaust. Instead of turbo there is a connecting adapter. New head in which I installed the camshaft 1.9SDI "AEY". Pulleys from golf 3 to 6pk belt. (faster water pump). The assumptions of the project are endurance not great powers. But also better off-road capabilities (it's not Syncro known, but it does well). An additional fuel tank on the rear axle greatly improves traction.

Druga kwestia to lift budy.

Why 14" wheels and not 16"? Thanks!

I like fat tires. Now is 215/80R14C on Syncro rim r14 et 30 6J. it is wider than the standard one and offsets towards the outside.
Additionally, there is a distance of 5 mm. The bus is wider and higher. The look is still old school.
