You’re thumbnails are just godlike man. Thanks for checking out and complimenting my work as always, it means a lot to me! I’m very grateful to have met you, you’re a amazing person, and also a great friend. ❤️
I partially agree. Some characters are definitely easier to play then others, and I too belive that Samus is more on the easy side. However i dont think this montage emphasize the easy aspects of Samus. I mean, it’s not like i’m doing fair strings and other easy bread-and-butter combos like you often see on Elite Smash, nor do I focus on projectiles. I think this montage showcases a decent amount of tech and some presice executions, but I respect your opinion if you think otherwise. You’re entitled to your opinion of course! I uploaded a new montage not long ago named «ANTARES» that might be more fun for you to watch. You’re more then welcome to check it out! Either way, thanks a lot for watching and commenting.
@@4ce2there are so many worse ways to play samus, your moves are clearly calculated for the most part this IS a skillful representation of how to play samus. i try to play samus the same way when i play her, can’t stand projectile spammers lmao, awesome video
Either you're playing a character that doesn't do well vs Samus, at a level where Samus excels, or you're playing the match up wrong. Additionally, you're basing a "lack of commitment" on interactions where they're already in a heavy advantage state, and cherry picked because what kind of montage would it be otherwise? And the icing on the cake: On a lot of these finishes, they committed to a Spike.
The editing process has begun, and it’s only a matter of time now. I can’t wait to show you what i’ve been cooking these last few months, and I can’t wait to finally use the sick thumbnail you’ve made for me. Thanks for staying tuned!
Wow. This Samus is insane. Your RAR bairs are godlike, especially from down grab. Ive never seen Samus do a lot of the things that I've seen her do in this video. Like fair drag down, to jab1, to downsmash! & That Roy @ the end got completely annihilated - most destruction I've ever seen. Definitely the greatest Samus. Very great video.
That’s very high praise, and very fun for me to hear. Thank you! Fair drag down -> Jab 1 -> Down smash isn’t true, but it still works consistently on big bodies. Fair drag down -> Jab 1 -> Down tilt is even more consistent, as Down tilt hits further below the ledge, and the hitbox comes out as early as frame 6. I too love the last clip by the way! None of it is true, but the entire combo is just very expressive, and also kind of freestyle. Again, thanks a lot for watching and commenting!
Thanks man! You pick up a thing or three after maining the same character for over 20 years. To be honest, there are plenty of moments in this montage where back air killed a lot earlier then I expected. It’s not something I will complain about though, I love the fact that hits like a goddamn dump truck. Also, I belive some of these opponents to have very bad DI, such as the Kazuya at 2:51 for example. Either way, thanks a lot for watching and commenting, I appreciate it!
Wow. There’s barely a single down B in this montage and I didn’t even realize it until I read your comment. There are some down B combos in my earlier montages, but I feel like everyone’s seen those combos so many times by now, like down B -> down air for example. Camping the ledge with bombs gets kind of boring after a while, at least for me personally, so I prefer to go for something more daring. On stage, down B is mostly used for baiting, and I think that would slow down the gameplay. I wanted this montage on the more fast-paced side of things, i guess. Anyways, thanks a lot for watching and commenting! I appreciate it.
Really nice video and your other one too! Love the way you make your combos! such a pleasure to see a samus player us an aggressive approach like you do! Very satisfying! Thank you for make us sparkle our eyes! I have a two small question, I'm curious about which controller are you using ( gamecube or pro ) ? And if you have a specific controller schem setting? Again, thank you for your crazy video!
First of all, I really enjoyed your comment! I’m always trying to tweak my combos, or maybe add a interesting twist. Some combos are freestyle and unplanned for, while others are executed carefully after lots of practice. I think this creates a interesting and unpredictable dynamic troughout the video. I’m currently taking a small break from Samus, but only so that I may see things from a fresh perspective when I pick her back up. I only discovered and started experimenting with Jab lock into back air (true combo on big bodies) at the very end up of making this montage, and there’s still untapped potential there that want to explore. Needless to say, I will definitely make another Samus montage in the future. I’m using a switch pro controller. Tap jump is on and right stick is set to Tilt. Also, I have L2 set to jump because I think that’s the easiest way to instant double jump. Thanks a lot for commenting, and have a nice day!
Hey man! And I love seeing you in my comment section again! Let me take a wild guess. Samus, Dark Samus, Lucas, Falco, and Donkey Kong? If you’re wondering what i’m basing these guessed on, then know that I have abselutely no idea. XD All I know is that you’ve done a great job. Well done bro!
@@4ce2 It’s down to 4 now since I played around with Ridley a bit too much but the 5 are Samus, Dark Samus, Ridley, Pyra/Mythra and Sephiroth. I’ll be getting Ridley back to elite since I’m on spring break right now, and I’m also working on Zero Suit Samus. I love to see you responding to me!
Yessir! Positioning all 7 characters into frame required using 7 different controllers. My most ambitious intro so far for sure! I wanted the intro to be impressive, but at the same time I didn’t want it to be too long. Hopefully I struck a nice balance!

I killed a bunch of things. Two pro controllers. My hands. Smash Ultimate’s playtime counter. But it was all worth it my guy, thanks to comments like yours. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
The intro is edited to look like it was all performed and recorded in a single match. This is not the case at all. The footage is from at least 10 different replays! Other then that, the ingredients were quite a bit of patience & precision, and some help from my amazing girlfriend. Last but not least, it required the use of 7 controllers. xD Thanks a lot for watching my friend, it means a lot to me!
That was a big pop-off moment for me. I knew Homing Missile into back air to be a thing on platforms, but it’s such a tight and precise execution. And when I caught him off guard with the Charge Shot, that was a great feeling for sure! I’ve landed the Homing Missile into back air a few times, but that’s my first time getting a kill sequence out of it.
Not sure, but i’m kind of glad not every quick play Samus plays like this, because that would make this montage kind of boring i think. 😃 Thanks a lot for watching and commenting, hope you enjoyed!
Haha, yepp! It’s only february, but i’m definitely on Santa’s naughty list for that one. If not, i’ll try my best to make it there by the end of the year. Thanks a lot for watching and commenting!
seriously amazed by all your samus montages. i come back to them periodically to get inspired for my own samus play. do you have any advice for nailing down the instant turn-around back air?
Thanks you for the compliment! As far as Instant turn-around back airs go, I used to look at other Samus players and feel like I would never get the hang of it. I was watching tons of videos trying to find some kind of advice that could help me master the technique. What I needed wasn’t some kind of secret tip though. I just needed the motivation and stubborness to keep practicing and mastering the inputs. No matter how sloppy or slow you are at doing a turn around, then back air, there’s really just one thing to do. You have too keep doing it, over and over again. My attempts at it felt so wrong and off for me in the beginning, but as I got more comfortable with the inputs, i started pulling it off faster and faster. I can almost guarantee you that you’ll get quicker with the inputs too, if you just keep at it. All you have to do is keep practicing. Here are the inputs by the way, if you’re uncertain. Your characters enters a skid animation when you turn around while running. All you do is jump and do a back air at any time during this skid animation. You’ll be slow at first, and it’ll look and feel very clunky, but I promise that you’ll see results if you just keep doing it. Either way, please dont give up on it, and thanks a lot lot for watching and commenting!
Note to self: dont throw out a random F-smash in neutral, and definitely not when your opponent is at zero percent. This especially counts if your F-smash one of the slowest and most punishable in the game. xD
It seems the bitrate of the recordings went down a bit, that's too bad! Sick combos. Jab-lock into b-air?! Who does that?! Also, can I ask how you did that 1:07 instant full hop b-air after d-throw? You didn't waste a single frame to turn around after the endlag, how do you do that without using tilt and resorting to short hop?
Hey man, nice to see you! I’m using the same method as always to capture my footage. This entire montage should actually be running at a smooth 60 frames per second. Perhaps try changing the video format to 1080p60 on settings? If that doesn’t work out, then I would love to hear from you if only chunks of the montage appear to have a lower bitrate, or if you experience it with the entire video. 🙂 Jab lock into back air is actually true but only works on large bodies. I’ve been experimenting and having a lot of fun with it lately, and I hope to showcase more interesting stuff with it in the future. I’ve had a closer look at 1:07 and I can indeed confirm this to be a full hop. A full hop is not what I was going for however. This was supposed to be a IDJ (Instant double jump) RAR back air. The best explanation I can give is that this is a lightning fast RAR with something happening to the IDJ inputs, causing it to be a full hop instead. I literally had no idea the clip was frame perfect until now. Anyway I really enjoyed your comment! Thanks for watching as always.
@@4ce2 Hey there! Unfortunately, it appears that the quality stays the same, clearly below 1080p/native dock Switch. The entire video seems to be recorded at 720p, but it feels like it's not just the resolution. The thing about that full hop is that, going frame by frame, indeed you turn around exactly after the d-throw endlag, but I thought that was impossible, even with IRAR and Slingshot you have to pass at least through one frame of an animation, either tilt backwards or dash forward, so that looks really odd. Even more so, if what you attempted was a classic RAR into IDJ, you couldn't have bypassed the dash frames completely. Maybe the recording skipped some frames? Anyway, I was asking because I thought that was a cool new tech to get instant full hop b-airs, but I guess it's not case. Thanks for replying, I look forward to your videos and aspire to be as cool as you are, with my Samus!
@@lloydaran after watching this awesome samus video, i went to this video ruclips.net/video/UkQMAzoe_Gk/видео.html (Wolf fair to bair confirm) and buffering the dash for an instant bair after the downthrow is what helped me get this down. Whether its a fullhop or shorthop i’ve started to get consistent depending on how i press the jump button. Just go to this video and watch the inputs to see if it helps.
@@SS4Chriboah Thanks, but it doesn't answer how Dr. Stronk went from d-throw endlag to instantly facing backwards the exact frame after. Even in that video, the WolfPad has to go through the dash animation frames. I think the only explanation is that one or two frames were skipped in the recording, for some reason.
@@lloydaran Hey, thanks a lot for the reply! I had only watched this montage in its completed form on my phone until now. Watching it on a bigger screen on my computer, i’m able to see that the overall quality could’ve been better. Due to a lack of equipment, I do record my footage in a perhaps strange way. I upload my replays to RUclips by using the «Post» button in-game. From there, I download the RUclips videos on my computer. I didn’t know this until now, but according to someone on Reddit, the replays lose quality when uploaded to RUclips trough the game. At worst the replays are reported to even skip frames. Not sure how accurate this is, but it could explain the Instant full hop back air. I deleted most of my replays after making this montage. My replay storage was maxed out and the gallery was in dire need of a clean up job. Anyway, i’ll boot up the game and have a close look at the replay, if I can find it. That should give us closure on what really happened here. New tech would be really cool, but I fear that might not be the case here. Either way, i’ll give you a update shortly, wether I find the clip or not. Also, i hope the somewhat low quality didn’t detract too much from the experience, my friend!

Hey there! I currently dont have any plans of entering a tournament, so probably not any time soon. But even if I did go to tournaments though, i’m not sure how many of these sequences I would be able to land on top-level players! Probably some of it, but many of my combos require a certain setup, such as a hasty air dodge or a missed tech. Some combos only work on bad DI too, and there’s a lot less of that among the pros. If I ever go to a tournament, i’ll make sure to put it on my channel, and let you all know how it goes! Thanks a lot for watching and commenting.
@@4ce2 Yeah I'm perfectly aware that many of those combos work because your opponents have never heard of teching and Di xD, but not all tournament players are pro. I pull of some nasty clips so often at locals with Ness even against the better players. I'm sure you will be able to too!

I loved every second of this montage, You manage to make this video feel intense you know and being able to bring in the viewers that will catch their attention through how you're able to edit and do hard work and effort you know you made it really happen and it was so amazing to see what you have to show off you know I'm saying and I am so thankful of you to working with you on the thumbnail and a wet knot I appreciate you very much on the bottom of a hard man and I hope to as well Work with you again because you're just a talented man and player and a Griff friend of mine you know the swamp type's has a lot of cues and points where has very creative common strings in one not so much love, have a good one man ❤️
MY MAN! I did my best to live up to the thumbnail you made for me! An outstanding thumbnail should be followed up by a montage of equal quality, much like you do in your own videos! You’re thumbnails are just godlike man. Thanks for checking out and complimenting my work as always, it means a lot to me! I’m very grateful to have met you, you’re a amazing person, and also a great friend. ❤️
Samus, the no commitment and high reward character. Man, this shows how some characters are far easier than others.
New Vid going to be lit!
Very good grasp on the game and movement, impressive
That back air is too fucking strong though, that's busted and gross
LETS GO!
We out here brother!
A Samus main that is not reliant on their down b for their set up combos!!!!!!😱
I feel like my Thumbnail really attracted the viewers! We should def work again mane!
We should, and we will! The thumbnail you made for me is just too good.
@@4ce2 Thank you a lot for your answer! it help me a lot! I I wish you an amazing day and can't wait to see more of your video!
Hello again! I love seeing more of your Samus!
Also, I would like to let you know that I have 5 characters in elite smash now!
I just got Ridley back to elite smash so now I can work on my Zero Suit Samus!
Oh shoot, hey guys =) Glad to hear your improving Jaker!
@@neko_knockout Thanks, man! I have Samus at 12.5 mil GSP, by the way. I only plan on getting stronger!
0:30 Def multiple controllers to get this right!
Yessir! Positioning all 7 characters into frame required using 7 different controllers. My most ambitious intro so far for sure! I wanted the intro to be impressive, but at the same time I didn’t want it to be too long. Hopefully I struck a nice balance!
0:55 I'm def using that intro man frfr!
Dr. Mario’s final smash is kind of similar, I guess? Either way, I can’t wait to see it!
Hey’ I’m watching this video from Japan.I use to purple samus just like you . When I watched your video,I was like i wanted be this samus.
and I have got a huge crush on purple samus.
I'm cheering you up in Tokyo.
Kon'nichiwa! Purple Samus is the hottest Samus for sure. And i’ll be cheering for you too! Thank you for watching and commenting.
Yeah… you killed it bro
I killed a bunch of things. Two pro controllers. My hands. Smash Ultimate’s playtime counter. But it was all worth it my guy, thanks to comments like yours. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
@@4ce2bro it’s just filthy plays gotta love it
2:33 He boutta meet God straight up lol
Yeah, and a devilish combo sent him there! 😈
Lore accurate Samus gameplay
Compliment of the highest order. Thank you. 🙏
Wow, that intro - amazing work, how did you even made that? You got the skillz buddy!
3:24 Honestly so beautiful, love seeing that stuff!
5:30 You get W points for just being able to combo Pichu like that!
Probably my first and last fast-paced Pichu combo, that is also a zero to death. I love your eye for detail my friend.
Wow, nice.
See why can’t all quick play samuses be this cool
Not sure, but i’m kind of glad not every quick play Samus plays like this, because that would make this montage kind of boring i think. 😃 Thanks a lot for watching and commenting, hope you enjoyed!
1:20 that was just nassstyy
Haha, yepp! It’s only february, but i’m definitely on Santa’s naughty list for that one. If not, i’ll try my best to make it there by the end of the year. Thanks a lot for watching and commenting!
@@4ce2 For sure 😂 Nice content, you got a new sub :)
0:54 THIS IS HARD FOR REAL!
Such a sick final smash bro!
seriously amazed by all your samus montages. i come back to them periodically to get inspired for my own samus play. do you have any advice for nailing down the instant turn-around back air?
Good question!!
2:11 WHO LET HIM COOK??????
Note to self: dont throw out a random F-smash in neutral, and definitely not when your opponent is at zero percent. This especially counts if your F-smash one of the slowest and most punishable in the game. xD
1:25 HOLY FUCK
Bet he didn’t see that one coming, especially considering I was down to my last stock.
Jab lock into back air is actually true but only works on large bodies.
Samus is a good tier!
Thank you!
ILove Samus
Yeah, you’re not the only one. ❤
I want to see you in tournaments!!
Hey there! Yeah, that would be real interesting I think! There are no tournaments where I live, so I would have to travel. I dont have any current plans of doing so, but I promise to put it on my channel if I ever do. Thanks a lot for watching, and commenting! 🙂
Nawww bro cooked and we eating good
I’m glad to hear that I satisfied your appetite bro. This meal has 6 months worth of ingredients, and as far as cooking go, I really did my best at it. The next one will probably be a little shorter, but i’ll try to whip up a decent meal nonetheless. Thanks a lot for watching and commenting!
I recognise the music where is it from again
A underground Club in Berlin? Haha, I literally have no idea. I heard it for the first time when Spotify recommended it to me. I haven’t heard it anywhere else before or after that. The name of the song is «Uprising» and the bandname is «Flesh Field». If you like the song, I recommend checking out their album «Strain». It’s on Spotify and the whole thing is really interesting in my opinion. Anyways, thanks a lot for watching!
I def can *cough* work on a certain cat vid ;3😊
Can’t wait to collaborate with you again!
When are you puling these in tournament 😛
Can you post a battle of you vs sonic
Hey! It’s cool that you’re asking, but that’s not really my type of content. I mean i could upload a battle like that, but I dont think it would be very entertaining to watch, really. I’m working on my next montage though, so please look forward to that!
4:15 SIMPLE, STRAIGHT TO THE POINT.
Indeed. That’s like, y’know, the first combo I learned when I picked up the game!
