The 1st mac clip, wario clip, and female Robin clip (fake out neutral b charge to dair) were my favs! Most of the time Samus gets a bad rep for her design and play style, but you make this character exciting to watch! 💯💪🏻🔥
YOO! Great to see you! Personally i think the second Little Mac clip is the craziest one, so it’s really cool to hear that you were most impressed by the first one. It’s always fun to hear about which clips end up being favourites, but you should know all about that hehe. I almost didn’t include the Wario clip because i thought the clip was too silly, but yeah, now i’m really glad I included it. Getting a bad rep is just a zoner thing it seems, and depends a lot on playstyle. Simply bringing the fight up close and personal goes a long way to make things more hype. I know you feel the same way every time you share your amazing montages! Homing missile into back air is a true combo both on platform and on stage. It’s a tight execution though! 2:32 Not sure if you saw it, but in my recent Doc clip compilations, I did a Jab lock to a cloud on the platform, then another one near the ledge, then a dair spike, your combo there reminded me heavily of that!

I try to showcase stuff that y’all haven’t seen a hundred times before haha. We’ve all seen things like fair strings and bomb into dair plenty of times, so I try to stay away from those. I had no idea there were as few fairs as two though - it’s cool that you noticed! I’ll definitely keep trying to break those stereo types, thanks a lot for watching and commenting. 🙂

Really appreciate it! I’m always trying to push Samus towards the coolest setups and combos. Samus has so many different strings, applications and movement techs. It really takes a while to fully explore her options. And there are still a couple of things I haven’t landed outside of training room, which keeps me going. The grind never ends! I love that i’m able to hype you up, even after all these montages man! Also I hope the montage lived up to the hype. Haha, that Sepiroth clip is really cool! It’s doubtfull that I will execute that particular combo again. It’s definitely a one-time in-the-moment type clip for me!
I was really shocked when both the bike AND the grab connected when fighting the Wario. Also the mind games were real in that one. I was trying to bait him into thinking THAT I WAS THINKING that he should go for a get-up attack. Only problem is that I could have thrown the bike upwards at any time which definitely would have killed him in its descent. Not sure if he realized that, and if that pushed him towards the decision of rolling back on stage, but either way I got the read and the perfect timing too. Fun times! Awesome video, glad to see more content! How the hell do you do a backair so quickly after a jab reset or grab? I can never nail that.
You definitely have what it takes to nail those back airs my guy! It’ll feel really difficult in the beginning but dont give up, it’s really all about practicing those inputs. What I do in this montage is jab reset then use a tech called «Attack cancel back air». The inputs are the following. After Jab 1, flick your c-stick in the opposite direction from where you are facing then immediately jump and hold forward at the same time. You only have a 2 frame window to input the jump (you have to input jump 1-2 frames after the c-stick flick) so it might take a while to master. Search for «Attack cancel back air» on RUclips and you’ll find a bunch of great tutorials. We already have so many great options out of Jab lock, but I would still love to see more people use this. After Jab 1, it might combo into another back air if you sour spot the first back air. Jab 1 into sweet spot back air into charge shot is also a great option that may kill ridiculously early near edge. Out of grap I use «reverse aerial rush» which also has a ton of great guides here on RUclips. Thanks a lot for watching and commenting, I appreciate it tons!

I’d say go for it! Here’s a friendly suggestion. Start by practicing Super Missile follow ups! Super Missile combos into everything and it’s really fun. It combos into charge shot, back air, down air, up B, you name it! Thanks a lot for watching and commenting. ❤️

The bairs take a while getting used to for sure but practicing the inputs is the only way to nail it. I only landed like 1 out of 10 back airs when I started applying the tech outside of training room. I’d love to teach you that stuff, honestly, but I guarantee you that there are way better teachers out there then me. Just search for «Reverse Aerial Rush» and there is no lack of tutorials to choose from. It seems hard at first bit then suddenly it clicks, and that’s a promise. Thanks a ton. Yeah, it’s worth learning RAR bair to seal some stocks earlier then otherwise possible! Especially when it combos out if so many moves: Down-throw, Neutral B, Side B, and Up-Tilt. Learning it just really makes a difference. 🙂 Thanks again for watching and commenting!

Legacy! It’s great to see you again. It wouldn’t surprise me if Samus was a decent secondary or pocket character to Bayonetta. I might be wrong though because I have no idea what the Bayonetta MU chart looks like. We might struggle against the same top tier characters. Either way, samus isn’t the hardest character to pick up, so i’d say go for it! Thanks for checking out the montage. 😀
