I can not say how extraordinarily greatful I am to have found George and Master Gu. I've been longing for a Taoist community and I've found one. My next destination is Wudang mountains to visit the beautiful master himself and dwell and learn about the Tao. Bowing respectfully.
Over a year ago I happened to find your videos and you inspired me to find a master to learn Two Chi. I am still learning Tai Chi, but admittedly the Yang style rather than your Wu style. Your are my inspiration Sifu. Keep making your videos.
The production value of your videos is just incredible, like a movie I swear I would see a whole movie of your content. Love your work and Master Gu's wholesome self
It was just a short clip, but it's cool to see how far your tai chi has come since the early videos. That's my favorite thing about kung fu: even though I feel awful sometimes, I can still tell how much better I am than I was a few years ago when I started. Martial arts is definitely one of the best self improvement choices I've made in my life. Keep it up!
George, when I stayed with a group of Taoist/Buddhist in Thailand (yep, they mixed the two) I was surprised to discover that they eat primarily vegan food. Their ancestors come from China and their temples have Lao Tsu as well as others they worship. The most interesting for me is a beautiful woman who stands on a flying dragons. I believe their ancestors or parents got persecuted during the period in which Mao controlled the country through his interpretation of communism. I prayed and follow a few of their rituals though, my impression was that they do what they do more for the need to identify to a specific group rather than a deep believe which encourages self discovery. They considered themselves Thai or Malay but they keep their ancestry alive thanks to the numerous vegan restaurants and praying centers in both Thailand and Malaysia. I'm vegan for ethical reason but they are for religious reasons. They were very kind to me, welcomed me to their friends and family and invited me to their rituals and preaching though I couldn't understand a word. I did Taichi when I was younger in Japan but unfortunately after that, I returned to Europe to start a new life, blah, blah, blah. In brief, I stopped doing Taichi but now, watching your videos with Master Gu, I feel compelled to start again though I can't right away because I'm dealing with a serious neuromuscular condition which has rendered me unable to walk or move coherently but don't worry, I'm already healing myself.
omg this vid just radiates goodness and everything that is quality and profound about being alive. Tai Chi family is awesome! :-D . The insects, nature and plants are what it is all about - so uplifting and calming at the same time. Love the photography - insects.
Loved this video too George. What a magnificent building. Keep posting this videos, I cant get enough of your Tai Chi family and adventures. Blessings to you and them and all your fans here. Lots of love to you all.
Instead of playing today I have decided to wake up early and to walk in the forest while sitting on a fallen wood log! I'll do this almost every morning for dealing with my gaming addiction! As usual this channel is always inspiring for me, it also helps me to keep watching content in English! Thank you George, peace from France! 🇫🇷❤️
@George, i was wondering if there was a recipe book of Tao food? As a vegan i am always looking for new recipes to learn. I am out in Australian Country but i did have the pleasure of attending Tao work shops for a short while. I enjoy these video shares, i don't normally comment but loved the food at Tao gatherings. Peace
Taiji is the grand ultimate fist because it is like water flows or cloud floats: the hardest thing in the universe overcomes the hardest thing in the universe; nuoc chay Da mon.
Thank you George. I have been following you and your journey into Daoism and tai chi and it has inspired me to take up a book written about a good friend of mine, Winnie the Pooh ☺! I am lisyening to Wayne Dyer and hope to start with Tai chi soon. Perhaps I will start with Master Gu online course, but sometimes I doubt if tai chi can be taught online....but man, I wish I can travel oneday to Master Gu. Keep up your good work, keep on evolving and I am eager to see your next video!👍😁
Thank you very much, George and all. Always enjoy your reports. Like the most enchanting and relaxing of stories! It's masseur for a male, btw. Love from Rome! So far, so good is what I say when asked how things are going. Wish I knew! lol
Also I wouldn't have said the Yin Yang symbol represents good and evil. Or it would mean either the male or female element is associated with it... would love to join you guys. Love from Rome and look forward to your response!
Life and energy is filled in so many living things every step twitch of fiber in clueing this music. The link won’t take you to it is there a way to listen to more of it my friend 🙏🏽
I love your quest to martial arts but I can do without Dao, because I'm a Christian but I respect all. Wing chun comes from my fist and Jesus from my mouth haha. Tai Chi looks awesome I would like to learn someday.
My father used to plant a nice vegetable garden, when we had a house in Connecticut, USA. He collected our urine to help water/fertilize the garden. He grew Green Chinese squashes, Long Chinese Okra, and even winter Melons. My father has since passed away recently, at age 85, this year on April 25th. He was born in Fujian, China, 1935. Despite all your faults, you will be in my memories til my end.
enjoying these videos - in Australia we have a large Chinese population and I often see older folk tapping their joints and body .. these people all look fit , balanced and happy .. if you can add any info with this method , it’d be appreciated 🙏🏼🏄🏽♂️💦🇦🇺
Hi, for future videos I would really love to see something related to ninjutsu. I discovered and learned a lot by watching your experience at zen Buddhist king fu monastery and tai chi journey. Did you know that Jinichi Kawakami is the last real ninja in the world and there aren’t any videos on ‘life of training like a ninja’ and other related content. Probably a video about training with Jinichi Kawakami? 😅would love to see such videos. Thanks for reading my comment
Curious about the injuries you mentioned George. I haven't got access to any news about it. Did I miss any video of yours? By the way, this one is as beautiful as always. Thank you. I was missing this uplifting contact. Hope your foot improve soon!
Great video, but brush up on your French, George: a man with a beard massaging your foot is certainly not a "masseuse", and certainly is a "masseur". Retired professor, can't help myself!
This video sums up my childhood before I was 8. My parents were medical students in Wuhan Toji Medical University and were assigned to work as barefeet doctors as soon as they graduated from Wuhan. We lived in Yunxi until I was 8. Used to climb Mount Wudang a lot. Danjiangkou was where I won the first competition in my life, Mandarin Competition together with lots of adult competitors. I won Second Prize and I was the only winner in my team of many kids and adults. I still remember the name of the article I recited was Little Tadpole Looking for Mummy. I look forward to returning to China, to Shaolin Temple and to Mount Wudang to meet the masters of my life. 💕💕💕💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🧧🧧🧧🧧🧧🧧🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

So awesome to hear that intention Nicholas! Wishing you the best on your journey!
What a wonderful Way to spend your Life and precious Time...Following the Path.
It's a real coincidence that i was suddenly curious to know more about Master Gu and there's a video uploaded just 2 hours ago
Only signs brother 🙏 love from Arkansas.
The Life of a Taoist Monk. What a phenomenal way to spend your precious Life and Time.
Keep on doing this man.
Its just great

This is such an organic and beautiful way of living.

Hey could you ask master gu if maybe wu wei or effortless doing could be compared to coasting in a car maybe?
Love All Family!!!☯️
Your Tai Chi appears to be getting better ! Not that it was bad but you seem to be more in the flow of things . As always look forward to your videos
I would like to send a Gift of Gratitude to Master Gu & his Temple. Where would be the best mailing address?

Thanks for the great wisdom
You should consider doing some Zhan Zhuang while you are injured, will definitely help when you can properly return to Tai Chi
Hello. Can someone tell me how do you call that flute? 1:50
That is called 萧 Xiāo.

Sad I'm late. But. How's your Chinese coming on, George? Love it as always
There is much more than that to be a daoist. Even the food we eat has yin and yang. Hot and Cold. lols
Greetings! Who is that depicted above the altar, whom you are honoring at 0:13 ? Thank you, may you be blessed 💛

briefly mentioned in the last taiji family episode - thank you! xxxx
Well there wasn't much about Mr. Gu's "inspiring life story" was there? Was hoping to hear more about it. Oh well....Nice video anyway....
I know what you mean
背景音乐很好听
Those close up shots of random bugs are super HD so much so that they look like they’re from discovery channel 👀

How can i join ?
can I ask how old is master Gu?
Nothing on the master's life story though...?
Wait did you go back to china?
This is the second time George is in Wudang Mountains. He is to be back regularly.

Is he still accepting new students? Would a family of 4 be able to study with him? Two parents and two young children?
