Roglic doing Roglic things in each of the 3 last stages 💥💥💥
Excellent win with a dodgy shoulder etc.
@@WilliamJeffs-vu7nr I'm overwhelmingly happy for his win
"Quintessential Roglification"
Blowing a lead? 😂
🎉😂Yeah,In First Two Vlasov did Amazing job and Roglic looked like Primoz Best Verse;-)..I mean, his crazy climbing sprints or Teleport,haha.. it's rare someone to catch him .. Skiing, Pacing leaning down on the bike, like Flash...The Same Old Prime Rogla..On Third stage , without much help of his teammates and pressure of the rivals.. Roglic almost give his CdD'24 win to Jorgenson.. that's His Trade mark,to Roglic...great race😂😮😊
Ineos are in top form and well organised, dePlus is at an insane level.
congratulation on team visma lease a bike Job!
Roglic last stage syndrome
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Man Jorgenson on an insane level this year
💯 bread and water.
@@zoso73 ............. and buckets and buckets of Jumba juice.
@@boomshankah1123every good rider is on the secret sauce so it’s irrelevant to mention.
@@crycrcfyhf8862 Probably Roglic wasn't - as he wants to use the juice for the Tour. That's why the gap was so large today.
@@crycrcfyhf8862 Yeah but there are different flavors haha
Full Vintage Roglic, crash, huge mountain sprint & cracking almost loosing all, is hard to be a Roglic fan
how can one not like Roglič 😂
Quintessential Roglification
Hahaaa
Imagine Red Hot Chili Peppers singing that to the melody of Californication
What a race for Derek Gee 🇨🇦, podium finish! Woo hoo 🎉
Last year it was GC Kuss, this year it is Derek GeeC. Go 🇨🇦!
Amazing race & result for Derek !!💪
That "so...bpppt...beautiful" from Roglic was nice 😂
7:12 Roglic's face relaying Lanterne's exact thoughts in the title 😂
'Phwoah that guy shoulders are wide, huh?'
"can't believe this nearly happened again" which part - matteo almost winning a one-week in the last stage or roglic losing a stage-race in the last stage? Crazy stage today, so cool to see Matteo has really taken a step up. His results this season would have been unthinkable last year
It’s stressful being a Roglic fan! 😂
Being a Roglic Air Conditioner is worse!🏂❄
Why is no one talking about De Plus this Dauphiné? Super glad to see him back at this level!
Copium for rog fans:
He had a base layer on and was overheated, kinda like 2022 PN.
He's been feeling the big crash, has barely any range of motion in his left arm and pain in the upper body, including neck, because of it.
yeah he is definetly going to cook pogi in the tdf without all of this problems, trust
He won this race, why do we need copium to deal with that? Vingegaard couldn't even come, Evenepoel was kinda weak, Roglic won it, so seems to me that his preparation is going pretty good.
@@attilarepasi6052 No his preparation is going badly. He won this when crashing hard which was good but he will be smoked at the TDF unfortunately
@@jonny1903 meh, reading the national articles, they seem pretty satisfied with the results. He might get smoked, but pog and jonas are kinda on a different level. Perhaps better epo preps than him.
But he and the team did quite good.
@@jonny1903 How can your preparation be any better than winning your main preparation race, just weeks before your main goal? Even Bora proved to be a quite strong team, who are willing to work for Roglic, so that is going well too.
Sure crashing is bad, but that's pretty much random, he can't do anything about that.
I doubt he stands a chance against Pog in TdF GC.
Roglic: "pptp, beautiful" 😂
🤣
Ciccone has be terrific, hopefully he brings home a long awaited stage win in the Tour for Italy!
It was obvious during the podium ceremony that Roglic has some serious discomfort with his surgically-repaired left shoulder. He commented on it being a concern after the big crash. He could not raise that arm at all during the podium presentations today, even though it looked ok after the prior 2 stages.
He's going to do some more tests tomorow. After the crash MR showed some liquid so they have to "investigate" that. Hope it will be ok after some rest days
Super impressed with Josh Tarling's performances these past two high mountain stages. Going to be a special rider for the future
If he drops weight, he may blunt his fantastic ITT power.
Can we talk about Lazkano. I thought he was a classics rider? 🤔 Keeping some pretty amazing company up there.
Roglic is such a tragic character. When he dropped here I had the same feeling I had in the Giro last year when he dropped his chain in the TT. glad he didn’t lose GC but damn does he always need to make it so stressful?!
Why would Vlasov blow himself up trying to stay with De plus? Just let the wheel go & do your thing.
le tour going to be fun . please cover the whole tour de france lanterne !! :)
Yep, Pog is gunna demolish the field!
I just hope vingegaard is on form for the tour or else it will be pogi domination again
7:10 Rog's 500 yard stare complete with a close up. Thoughts going through head: "Holy shit, that was closer than I wanted. What just happened?"
Final stage Roglic is actually a thing. We saw last two days he is in very good shape but once again underperformed in this stage. Still, I give him much more chance at the tour than Evenepoel
The title 😂
Same as pn 2022 stage 8
wait, so no Tour de Suisse highlights videos? 💔
De Plus or De Pluski?
I think id be a bit faster with some vitamin GEE!
wow this puts the Giro into perspective. These dudes don't stand a chance against Pog at the Tour
Hopefully Roglic isn't close to peak shape. He seems to have gotten better with experience at not peaking too early for Grand Tours.
Jorgenson will finish higher than Vingegaard at the tour. Just too much to recover from for Jonas
Jorgensen needs to improve TT actually lost the race there 6 secs😭
Roglic start to being weaker won't
Be easy against Tadej😜🔝❤️
I went into this race thinking, man, if Roglic smashes everyone, there's an argument to be made that he could be the favorite for the Tour considering the unknowns around Jonas' form and Pogi's ability to do the double. But then today's stage happened and to some extent the other stages as well and I just kept thinking, if this was Pogi in this race he would have stepped on everyones throats. I'd love to see Roglic win the Tour but with Jonas and Pogi, you can't just sit in the group trying to win based on bonus seconds. Considering all the variables at play going into the tour it'll be interesting to see if some team like Ineos decides to play Russian roulette and pull a Visma and makes the race as hard as possible in order to possibly crack all the heavy hitters who all have something possibly holding them back.
마테오 요겐슨, 정말 호감형이다. 앞으로 큰일 해낼듯. 정말 기대됨. 그리고 로글라, 올해 뚜르에선 좀더 잘 타자. 라스트 챈스야.
Roglic is not that dominant, seems more "natural" than Pogi and Vingegaard, I remember i think in 2020- 2021ish in La Vuelta when Roglic almost lost to Carapaz, same way as this
Evenepoel and Roglic will fall thru in TdF. If Vingegaard does not get back into shape for this, then TdF is gonna get just a boring as Giro 2024 was, with Pogacar dominating by almost 10 min to second place :(.
@lanterneRougeCycling - Who do you think will take part in the breakaways the most at TdF 2024 and who has a chance for the greatest success from the breakaway and on which stages? :)
Roglic will not be able to seriously challenge Pogacar (or Jonas if Jonas is in good health and form). I don't think Remco will be able to either, but maybe...
I don't think INEOS were trying to drop Roglic. I think they were trying to drop Derek Gee, so that Rodriguez could get onto the podium.
"Why not, huh?"
Jorgenson should have sprinted like a demon
he made a deal with rodriguez
Bora didn't have to close de plus or rodriguez. Wrong tactics almost cost them the GC.
Nobody is beating Pogacar this year.
I think d.gee rode superbly, I reckon there is more to come from the canadian
didnt Jorgenson not realize there were 10 bonus secs at the line?
i think he was at the limit when you look at his face (+ probably some fairplay to let Carlitos the win because he pulled with him)
@@fefedelamuerte8169 I think you're right - Jorgensen would have kicked for the line if he could. And by working together they gained more time on Roglic (more than the 4 second difference between 1st and 2nd).
no difference, if Jorgenson won primoz would have needed to arrive in less than 52 seconds, he arrived 49 seconds late so he would have saved it anyway
Jorgensen’s time is almost here!
1:05 entering The Twilight Zone . . . spooky stage in the Stage.
Roglic has zero chance of beating Tadej or Jonas at TDF. Zero.
Great stuff, thanks as always. See ya when the Tour starts!
Hope Roglic wins.
I just discovered you have members only videos.....unsubscribe.
😮🙄🤣
💟 Matteo J... wow....🌟 'DePlusky' loved seeing him so strong, Cicco, Carlos, on fire, a really exciting race....thrilled for Matty J.....thx, LR, for you comments, ciao 😉
Funny, Roglic is dropped and it is because of injury or overheating. Remco gets dropped and his crash and subsequent surgery is all an excuse.
I thought for a sec Roglic would choke again. I would love for Roglic to win the TdF but I can’t see it happen. His first challenge is not to fall of his bike. And then there is the Pog…
Team UAE very disappointing in this race
6 out of 7 riders crashed man
You havebforgotten Remco and would be so happy Roglic loses the race. But in you face....he does not tell anything to the media, but he was twice down, all in pain, out ofbtraining and still win the race....champion!!
Sometimes, when I'm punching it up a hill, I say "Tiesj Benoot" to myself, and pronounce it like your Australian accent.
thanks to Ineos for the effort. we know what we already knew. if Jonas isnt on top of his game Pog will easily win the TdF. Rog and the others will have to fight for the second place and be ready if Pog crashes.
first one! nice vid!
JJ Redick is trying to become the Patrick Broe of basketball iykyk
Reckon I need to sign up for the 30 Day JOIN Cycling trial when I get home 🤘💚
If you can’t believe it, you should watch some more 1-week races where roglic barely hangs on the last day…
Not just one week. You have a tdf - lost, a vuelta - almost lost.
This just shows how great and exciting cycling can be, when pogacar isn't in the peloton,
If Kuss is the Eagle, Jorgenson is the Mountain Lion...
Gee lighting it up for Canada! Let’s go!
Will you not be covering the tour de suisse?
if you're in the uk then i think itv4 have covered it in previous years (not as often as theyve covered the crit du dauph though); i know it's not LR, but still, you'd get to see it
@@ManWalksDogs only see this now, thanks for your answer, im belgium so seeing the races on tv isnt really a problem, Just wondered if LR was going to cover it
It's empty media talk to mention the big four in this year's Tour de France. After Dauphine and Jonas total of nine broken bones and a punctured lung, there is only one indisputable favorite left
Yup, Remco and Jonas are going to be off the podium at the tour. I think Primoz will be there with Pogačar and whoever Ineos has. Would love to see it be Bernal rounding it out.
Jonas will win the TDF this year. Trust me..
Dont underestimate Jonas.
We just have no information about Jonas, his form could be there, could not be there…
tbh idek why evenepoel was ever compared to the likes of pogi and vingegaard when he hasn't ever showed the same level in mountains stages
rogla showing some weakness
Man these are so great
Good job on this
Vlasov better than Remco while riding for Rogla😮
Why did Roglic have a base layer on lmao, what was he thinking
he cannot put on or take of any clothes with his shoulder injury so he has to play it safe with the clothing. He said yesterday in the interview that he was freezing on the descents
Primos will finish in top 3 in TDF? Anyone agree?
Remco is down bad
I can't believe that nothing more was said or shown (at the finish) of Derek Gee in this stage. What a revelation he is in the Dauphiné. Come on L.R. get with the program for Christ sake !!
Roglic is like a ferocious animal with glaring teeth, cornered by Father Time. This may be his ONLY and perhaps LAST chance at Le TDF. So . . . he HAS to win . . . if Vingegaard does not show up!
He won’t stand a chance against Pogi.
@@Infiltator2 He does not have to STAND a chance. He will SEAT in his saddle and WIN!
@@Infiltator2 Very daring comment, just wait for it and watch the race, being a fanatic is toxic hope you figure it out,.
@@Queen-be6md where did Roglic beat Pogi in a GT? 2019 Vuelta which far gone. Roglic was 29 and Pogi 20. In the last TDF bot rode in 2022 Roglic fonished obly 1 stage ahead of Pogi. He hasn’t shown that he can beat him.
@@Infiltator2 he's won 4 GT and I've never claimed he'll win but he's a real contender or are you denying that? You trying to make this personal. Sure Tadej is the favorite however anything can happen.
Pog dropped lower quality at the Giro much Pog would not have distance this veew especially Jorgenson a new superstar
Is Derek Gee, the new Froome?
Yeah, only 4 TdF victories to go 😂
Better ! + without the B.S.
Remco became irrelevant after the ITT🤣
but the remco apologiser say’s differently 🤭
Poor from Visma.... why didn't Jorgensen start really driving it just 500m earlier and he could've had those 8s... they should hire someone for race strategy :D
And no sprint at the end!
the coach also once coach rogi
these coaches has their agenda
What do you mean 500m earlier? Like 500m before inios shredded it? They had no sense of rog weakness until that moment. Would have been big risk for Jorgensen to go off on his own leaving 6 or more behind to chase him. And for the person saying "no sprint", grow a brain, they were all on the limit, Jorgensen just about collapsed after the stage.
@@TheSheriff1989 the 2-3 minutes where both CRod and jorg and Gee were there together, ahead, separated; but all flicking elbows. For 2km of the climb the gap held at 15s. When the gap started to grow then the msg was relayed to Jorgensen to go all-in. A few minutes earlier and that could’ve been the minute he was looking for instead of 50s
@MichaelBoogerd you can't have Jorgensen going full bore on the front with Gee sitting in his wheel only 11 seconds behind on GC. Pretty embarrassing if Jorgensen did all the work and then G drops him and takes the GC anyway. He needed to get rid of G first.
patrick : remco is better today than yesterday come on man remco got dropped all in this 3 mountain stages so stop it
I think also his shape is going in the good way. First mountain stage: hard finish but a calm day: dropped at 3 km, second mountain stage: dropped at 7 but was way harder. Last day, he could even hold the hard tempo of de plus (for a few seconds, but he showed that his resistance to long efforts is better than 3 days ago).
He did perform better so what do you mean? Perhaps stop your toxicity, he had a bad crash and is recovering maybe your hate doesnt allow you to think clearly.

The good news is he won’t be winning the TDF this year.
Mr Jorgenson is a little bit too impressive... I dont recall that well, but he wasnt showing some great signs to be a gc rider in the last few years... than such a jump on 1 year. He is claiming new training regime in Jambo for the great shape (new interval formula?). Maybe a late bloomer...
Tell me you haven't been following Jorgenson without telling me you haven't been following Jorgenson.
Late bloomer? He just won the white jersey!
@@LAMF24 white jersey is there for historical reasons when GT winners were 30yo+.. nowadays riders train a like pro since 16 yo
@@codyrayl6629 i admit i didnt follow closely.. please remind of his results before jambo
