Ed, you make things look easy but only because you take such careful measurements. I'm sure you can and will make the front door frame and make it look like you are a pro at doing it and maybe even better than those that do it because you are a perfectionist which is a very good thing.
You might consider getting g. Can of asphalt sealant. You could paint it o er the other asphalt to make it all look brand new around the entire building! It would really help with curb appeal! We use this periodically on our own home asphalt driveways! Seals and freshens the look.

Edd! I found that it helped when putting IKEA stuff together to count out and separate all the screws etc. on a nearby surface. Then I knew where they were exactly and whether or not I had all that would be needed. It saved a lot of time and aggravation hunting for what I needed. Also I hope that you and Ann and the kids are okay. Here in New Jersey many people including myself have endured miserable colds these past weeks. We are also having inv dreadfully cold weather as well as snow!
It's possible that the blue areas are a protective film that prevents scrapes on the doors and the drawers that can be removed once all the other work is done. I actually like that color as well ! 🤗

After hurting my back on Christmas Eve and being in agony all over Christmas and New Year…….. I now understand and am amazed at how you can carry on with your work with a continuous bad back !!!! All credit to you Ed. 👏👏
@@BordeauxLife ………… 🤞 I think it’s nearly back to normal now……… it’s odd, I don’t think I hurt it by lifting heavy items as I was prior to 25th dec, but I think it was something daft like wrapping Xmas presents but sitting and turning my body in strange angles. But yes it’s been ok 🤞😢 for a week now, only twinges now and again.
Its looking amazing! well done! One thing that I do though, is to make footwell inside the doors in these tiled french houses and put a large sisal mat in the well so that the wet and muck doesn't get tracked into the house? Hope Anna is feeling a bit better, there has been a real epidemic of this flu - and its really nasty. x
