I can still remember the first time I covered this song. I heard LovelyMusicAngel's operatic voice singing out (and rapping to) this high energy punk rock song and it was the greatest thing ever.
I actually didn't like this song at first, but it grew on me as the days went on and I just had to take her lyrics and build a full version off of it. Little did I know that it would be, and still is, my most viewed cover to date, even though it was one of the last covers I mixed in Audacity back in 2014.
So, here we are again, with an updated version of Flame in which I painstakingly re-recorded every single line almost two years later (dang, it's been that long) with a better mic, improved singing, and a deeper understanding of mixing.

I had no idea I wanted you to remake this cover until I saw it in my notifications. The old version was good, but this one is absolutely amazing and blows the old cover out of the water. The mixing and audio editing especially sound really nice. Superb job.
Ah, sorry about that, Max. I didn't give away a lot of the covers I'm doing for this event, but I did mention this one. That said, I only really talked about it on Twitter.

The shortest explanation is that I just wasn't satisfied with how I did Flame the first time around, so I wanted to try it again.

While I do think the Japanese version is better, this cover could've been better if the lyrics were better revised and shortened, for example some of the lines are just full on sentences that are unneeded, but if done full sentences were kept and others shortened to follow the beat and still keep the same meaning, it would've been better

Dub is better, I think a lot of them are better subbed but this song in general I think is better dubbed, that is MY opinion.
