Visual demo of how a Julia set ( c=.274-.008i) can be generated from repeated transformations of a circle. Please see www.karlsims.co... for more details.
Just a correction: the Juliation need not be a circle. It could be any picture, figure, etc. The reason: Julias have a magic spot, in which, when the circle is halved (folded) and square rooted in magnitude, the Julia centered at the magic spot becomes the Julia set itself. Minus one iteration. Means anything outside of that magic spot TAKES THE SHAPE of the Julia set. This works for any point, any figure.
This is absolute Juliation with respect to the center (-.274 + 0.008i)! This is exactly why Ultimate Metaphase structures look like needle Julia Sets. One can make any Julia set (there is nothing special about this one) with this iterative approach.

@BRSM Gamer he isn't complaining about the unreleased program?
I cannot understand this...

Yes, vector magnitude = vector length = absolute value = sqrt(a^2 + b^2)
Whats the difference about the mandelbrot set and julia set
How do the burning ship Julia sets work?
i can’t believe this is 11 years ago
Wow!
What software was used to make this visualization?
Custom unreleased openCL (gpu) software.
it actually looks like an animated fractal zoomout.
That julia zoom mandelbrot
Awesome
i hate myself 11 months ago
I made it in roblox

Late comment: please see the Shadertoy *Fork Juliation Morphing* **@PhDFractal** so you can fold any Julia Set. 🙂
