    Sad to see this series end. Another great video. I wish you spoke more about kurds and 'kurdistan'. As someone from kurdish asl, I can testify by saying that kurds are some of the most nationalistic people I know. It's extremely problematic.

      @shocomoco1867 2 года назад +8

      @@tkurd8472 great mashaAllah! I'm glad you were honest but I believe the discussion on Kurdish nationalism, in general, should have been more elaborated. Just like Mohammed Hijab did about his own ethnicity; Egyptian. He went in!!
      A lot of kurds are so-called 'struggling' with this. As a kurd myself, I find this hard to understand. Is it really that difficult? We must be honest with ourselves; It's literally an accident by birth and not an achievement. We must get rid of pride and accept our flaws. As a community, we have to eradicate nationalism, remove hate towards Turks, hate towards Arabs, and stop committing shirk by following nationalistic groups and celebrations.
      We can only do this by literally following the quran and sunnah and relearning our history. I understand loving the land, food, clothes etc but it's far from that now. We should accept our flaws and become more loyal to our ummah.
      I suggest every kurd to do a DNA test and you will see that you literally come from a lot of different places. And travel more, it will open up your mind and intelligence. I hope we become better. Because it's literally problematic

    Exactly my thoughts on nationalism , well said !
    The issue is we're brainwashed with this at early age in kindergarten and elementary school. I sometimes ask similar questions asked by Mohammed hijab here to my fellows Algerians here in Algeria. What's stopping a Tunisian from being an algerian or vice versa? They all get confused with no answer. On the borders with Tunisia we have related families living on both sides and they know they are related and they still visit each other, yet they hold different citizenships. Same Arabic dialect , same traditional clothing and food. People when they are asked they always say sure we are supposed to be one nations and those borders are out by western Colonialism , but they still insist on being different because of someone said you are algerian while the other is Tunisian or Moroccan. Really puzzling how humans could have this contradictions co-reside in their brains.

    You are wrong Mohamed hijab ancient Egyptians were the same as modern Egyptians not black ,,king tut and most of Egyptian mummies blackened because of Egyptian mummification method using complex mixture of natural compounds such as sugar gum, beeswax, fats, coniferous resins and variable amounts of bitumen. Also known as asphalt or tar, bitumen is a black, highly viscous form of petroleum that arises primarily from fossilized algae and plants. So read first about ancient Egyptians because i think you are influenced by afrocentic in the park
