    Good video again. Thanks. Glad to hear mention of sean fallen..he was always a hero of mine . I'm 78 now so old enough to have seen him play . Man of Steel. 👍👍

    I was at this game as a nine year old Motherwell fan. I’m sure we also had a goal disallowed in the first half from a retaken free kick. Also at both games at Fir Park the following January which resulted in one win each. Great memories! 👍

    Some truly great players back then and great to see the old traditional strip....so clean and simple. This years home strip is a disaster by contrast.

    George connelly might never have worn a Celtic jersey with the crest(and the star. And sponsors names)but the football gear then was magical. And fir park looked properly packed too.

    That goal he got the 3nd goal in the 4 0 pumping off rangers in 69 Cup final a John greig howler and his pen in the 73 final when we were robbed when jinkys goal was chalked off at 2 2 rip George hail hail💚🍀☘️

    George Connelly could have slotted in to any team in Europe he was that good, unfortunately George had his demons to deal with, he was a sad loss to Celtic and the paying football public in general as players like him do not come around too often.
