I finally got my new 2023 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z51 2LT HTC in amplify orange with carbon metallic. This is a more rare color for sure more optimistic and more vivid. I placed my order two years ago and my C8 just arrived but I must be honest it was worth every year and every minute I waited. Believe the hype, the Corvette Stingray, C8 is the real deal. I’m really enjoying my new C8 it’s revolutionary memorable unforgettable incredible remarkable phenomenal. The word I’m looking for is “Beast”exotic supercar look FAST FUN. 495 horsepower zero-to-60 in 2.8 seconds FAST FUN. For 25 years I have had a black and white car or SUV, so I decided to change car color to make my car look like a exotic supercar. Like they say life is not always Black & White 😀

I’m loving driving a 2021 3LT Crush Orange Camaro now and it has lots of great features like the camera rear view mirror, awesome! I’m looking forward to my first Corvette though! Yes sir you are correct I did not mention price at all during the video. The MSRP of this corvette is $99,020 and the dealership has decided to add a $50,000 market adjustment bringing the price to $149,020 before trade in (if any), taxes, title, and license. Also this vehicle is still currently available and sitting on our showroom floor.

The dealership is selling the non anniversary editions for $25,000 over sticker. Our area always seems to respond to the market later than everybody else.
Hi Paul, I know that you do not set prices in your dealership. That is the general manager or owner that sets the prices. I do not need to purchase this vehicle since I already have one. But it does infuriate me when I see this heavily priced mark up. That's why you still that vehicle sitting in your showroom. With the economy going the way it's going now and high interest rates you're going to have this vehicle sitting for awhile.

Paul no kidding i just got my 70th anniversry z06 a week ago for less over then this stingray. My trade was the c8 stingray 70th. I ordered the z06 full tilt ceramic carbon all carbin fiber , black tips etc etc. The msrp was 155, 510.The truth is the c8 stingrays are not that hard to get your way over priced and WILL NOT hold value like a z06.Im not kidding.I bought my z06 from a vette youtuber corvette guy. Porcelain is definitely harder to keep clean but a lot of higher end cars have alcantara so I’m not surprised. On a non 70th anniversary you don’t have to get alcantara.
First off I’d like to address that I am not the owner of the dealership. Second off I think many sales people and sales managers are genuinely good people in the auto industry. In our profession we have a lot of bad apples just like in any line of work. When a customer is able to purchase a corvette at sticker price then turn around and sell it to make $30,000 of profit while the dealership (on average) makes about 6% from invoice to MSRP. Nobody refers to the customer as a sleaze bag. Most would say that is a smart business decision. I wouldn’t disagree either. Now let’s be honest nobody has ever paid sticker price before Covid. All of a sudden everybody is ok with paying sticker price? I can guarantee you have never purchased a vehicle at sticker price before Covid. Right now these are our current market conditions. Just like back then it wasn’t uncommon to save a total of $10,000-$15,000 off MSRP nobody complained and nobody was offering to pay sticker. Why’s that? For reference there is a pre owned 70th anniversary edition selling for $115,000. Let me say that again. $117,000 and it’s pre owned with 3,000 miles. This brand new one has a sticker price of $99,020. When and where have we seen anything like this? Never! The market is insane. I’ll finish by saying that nowhere in a dealerships dealer agreement does it say a vehicle has to be sold at sticker price. If that were the case life would be easy. All dealerships in essence would be like any chain of retailers. All dealerships are owned by a family or a company. They get to determine what a vehicle sales no matter how crazy it may sound. I can’t say that I agree with the excessive mark ups but I do agree with being fair with the market.

Not a fan of the white seats and all the alcantara. Hence not a fan of 70th anniversary.
