What is the hardware placed under the belt location on the 1911 holster shown at the end? Doesn't look like it would be for retention. Maybe works like a claw to press the grip toward the waist?

The holster at the end of your video shows a Colt Delta Elite 1911, that type of retention device that looks like it goes across the grip safety, is that correct? I carry a 1911 daily cocked and locked, hammer back safety on, I have to say the design you show there is useless and dangerous if carried in the cocked and locked.

Me neither, leather holsters may look nice & the strap may secure your gun incase you have to run or somebody tries to grab it, but the snap strap is just another action you have to do in a split second of need. I prefer a self locking kydex & no gun safety. Just pull, point & shoot.
