      I'm 106kg and I spar my coach, who is just 67kg; his talent is impressive and challenges me; I don't utilise my power at all; if I get close, I can practically walk through him and overpower him very quickly, which I don't; size does matter.

    Good fuckin work!!! let's go!! Big Man got polished up the whole spar, but that don't take away from him being that dawg and having huevos to still hang in there. That's what we suppose to do is polish each other up! TruFlo got them hands, and he's quick. You have to be, being smaller. Besides bending your knees, keep light on ur feet by using your toes and throwing shots planted, so your off off balance, pivoting and just basic footwork, is one of the foundations of boxing. Bend them got dam knees Big Fella! I was always taught, it's easier to punch up, then down! Both had advantages and disadvantages. Good work both of ya'll, and TruFlo, you know what it is, boi u too smooth!

      But that’s how size differences work… being bigger means you’ll be slower but have more power, if other guy was smaller he’d match the lightweight speed.

    Just starting boxing, i'm like 5'7, kinda short arms, any advice brother i'm two months in... and there are people that size of that dude in round 1 that have been training since they were seven, kind of disheartening the skill and height/weight gap.

    • @trueflowboxing2770
      @trueflowboxing2770  Месяц назад +1

      Hey brother! Appreciate the question. First off congrats on stepping into the boxing realm, because of it's nature it's one of the more difficult sports to begin. My first and probably most important piece of advice is MINDSET....Don't compare yourself to others and concentrate on yourself. While I know it may feel/be natural to compare yourself to others right off the back you should actively try to mitigate it. Instead literally watch and learn.
      In my opinion more often than not , time doesn't always equal skill. I've been training/fighting for 15 years now I've seen guys go the gym and put in work EVERYDAY and still get whooped in sparring or lose their competition fights. Boxing/Fighting in general requires for you to literally take it and mix it with your own unique style & skills and adjust it as you learn more of the sport not just train everyday. There is nothing disheartening about starting something new and being bad at it or at the very least not being as good as you think you should be in it. Big thing that will help is RECORD yourself weekly or daily...This will not only do wonders to monitor your progress but it will also help you see mistakes that you can fix during your training.
      EVERYONE Starts off as a beginner brother...Even the best. Keep that in mind! Hope this helps 🙏

    In a ring with no headgear, a Lightweight would get killed against a Heavyweight worth their salt. Also, the big fella is obviously not skilled. Reality check.

    • @trueflowboxing2770
      @trueflowboxing2770  10 месяцев назад +7

      With or without headgear is irrelevant as headgear does not do much to protect the brain regardless of what weight classes use them or not, so that point is mute.
      Secondly you throwing in outside factors to what's happening to validate your point is also mute. As I could just easily say "Well IF I was taller or IF(Insert your excuse). Even more so two of the 3 heavyweights in this video I'm literally fighting in a ring.
      Lastly I'm literally sparring multiple heavyweights in this video with clear differences in skill and technique (As also the title suggests) in this video and you chose one to say he doesn't have skill LOL.
      Reality Check- You ARE NOT a COACH please stop acting like one....
