Sometimes, in a way it is sort of like uploading and hoping for the best. When you find a niche that has demand but low competition your sales will grow organically. Thank you for the helpful info! I have just started KDP Low content and have found that finding the right categories is the most challenging. I'm not sure if the categories I'm seeing on Amazon itself is different than the categories that we can choose from on KDP, or just have different "titles." Any helpful tips for matching categories? Thank you again!
Getting a good category for low contents can be quite hard because their category structure is set up for high content books and it does look different on their site to what's in the KDP back end. Generally I try to find the category matching the theme of my book not so much the interior. So for example, if I have a notebook with a Tiger on the front, I'll look for an Animal, Tiger, Zoology, etc category.
Great info thank you!! This could be what I’ve been looking for. Can one publish a spiral bound book through KDP? Is there a platform that does that? Spiral bound is very important for what I’m wanting to do.
Hello Mam...i just uploaded 1week before the paperback notebook and its live now..but you have any idea that when its actually start selling on amazon??
Personally, I make my book interiors with Word and the covers with Photoshop. I do have a video on making books in Canva is you don't use any of the paid graphic design software ruclips.net/video/F2aUnzFiFq8/видео.html
hey, I have a quick question for you. can I submit my book to traditional publishing companies like Penguin, harper after I unpublish it from amazon kdp? and is it okay to do this? I mean the book was on both paperback and ebook in kdp for almost about a year now...
It's fine for books that have pretty generic interiors such as notebooks, journals, logbooks etc but you don't want to do it with more involved books like colouring books or activity books.
You can use different author names - generally you'd have a different one for each niche that you are going into but you can do whatever you want really with author names.
I have watched all of bookbolts video recommendations to make books etc ive made 15 books...only 1 is selling im not sure what im doing wrong because ive watched the how to videos hot to make books that are selling and so on its been 4 months no god income
You are probably doing nothing wrong, it can sometimes just take time to ge thte right niche and make the right book for that niche as well as being in an area that doesn't have a massive amount of competition. Keep at it.
What do you do to promote your books? My books are all made from scratch. No templates. They are journals, all uploaded in april and may. I am just learning about pinterest. I am not a fan of facebook or IG so I won't be using them.
You have the choice of Amazon ads if you have a budget to spend. Personally, I think journals would do well on Instagram. I follow a few journalling type accounts on insta and they have a huge following. But otherwise I still think that Pinterest is a great option too. Build a brand through whichever social media channels you prefer to use, build an email list and promote your books that way.
Do you mean getting review is difficult? I don't think it's any more difficult to get for low content books than any other type of books. It just takes time unless you have some kind of social media following or email list for your brand where you can ask for reviews from your followers.
I have uploaded on kdp but after saying in review for a few days it now says draft again, but it does not give a reason. What should I do? thank you for your help
Just to check, when you mention dollars, you mean Australian dollars do you? I'm in UK so $1.50AUD is £0.82 GBP apparently. If you mean US dollars it would be more. Thanks for the video.
Great video! My problem is that Amazon charges .15 per mb download and my "smallest" book is 30mb, plus fees that Amazon charges and that's a big problem for me. I don't like the fact that Amazon makes all the money of my ebook. What would you recommend?
Thanks! It's the price you pay for getting access to millions of Amazon's customers. If you don't like the Amazon fees then I would suggest selling your books elsewhere.
You still have to provide a file containing the notebook lines, Amazon doesn't do that for you. But once you've created a notebook interior file, you can use it for all notebook covers you make.
You create an account with KDP which is Amazon's print on demand book service. Uploading a book to your KDP account puts it onto the Amazon marketplace.
Thanks so much! 😀 Oh thank you! No secret really, I've been looking after my skin since a very young age - probably around 12/13 years old, so I guess it's all paying off now! Well, maybe the secret is that when I film my video's I sit in front of a window with the sun shining in so the lighting is working with me too 😃
Hi. I am nonestly not trying to be argumentative or a PIA. I have been watching several RUclipsrs who are talking about publishing on Amazon. They all have great content and ideas and such, but so far I have not found any of them have actually sold a book on Amazon. One person told me that she keeps her content secriet so it won't get stolen... but how is that publishing on Amazon? To sell a book means you run the risk of being ripped off. (I know, I have 5 books on Amazon right now.) And no offense, but if you are going to tell me how to make money with Amazon, would it be out of line for me to ask you to show me how YOU make money on Amazon? I am really interested, but I cannot find just a first name on Amazon to find your books. If you could send a link, that would be awesome. And if you do, I PROMISE to buy one of your books.
Yes, just publishing on Amazon puts you at risk of having your work being ripped off but publicly telling people which books are yours opens you up to a massive amount of people just waiting to copy your books. Unfortunately, there are those people out there who are just waiting to copy other people's stuff, so you will find no one tells what their books or pen names are.
@@MyFreedomEmpire Thank you for your response. I am not very satisfied by your answer. I am still confused because selling books is what you teach, and frankly it is disturbing that we cannot see what it is you sell. I wonder if you would gain even more audience if you showed what you sell, and became more transparent about what you teach. These are low content books of notepads and such. What would anyone gain by ripping you off? All they need to do is purchase a template from CreativeMarket or grab one of the thousands of free stuff out there. Not sure what intellectual property would be ripped off. And if you are doing something special to sell the numbers you claim, wouldn't THAT be something to share? With an audience of 20,000 people it would be easy for your to do a book launch with one of your journals and get to a number one status if you sold even 500 in the first 24 hours of launch. And once a number one best seller in any category, it makes it far easier to build an even wider brand. I am researching and digging in deep on this subject, and I am not really liking what I am finding. However, I am not here to argue with you and I will leave you alone.
i don't have to be any more korean than u are to be aware that kawaii is KOREAN style culture, *NOT* Japanese!!! if u had bothered to take a gander at the copy description, u ought've twigged that fact. now, have there been actual japanese (or ignorant caucasian) fans that admire this popular korean theme & seek to make it their own? sure. but as contentious an issue as japan's historic & routine co-option of korea itself, it's people & it's distinct culture - typically by theft &/or force, it's a minor but no less potentially offensive faux pas that perhaps u should consider correcting.

You're welcome! 😀
Cool
Nice hair😊
Thanks 😃
Great. But how can I sell these books on Amazon???
You create an account with KDP which is Amazon's print on demand book service. Uploading a book to your KDP account puts it onto the Amazon marketplace.
Don't like giving my card details simply to join for free.
Great content thanks! A little off topic, you have amazing skin! what's your secret???
Thanks so much! 😀 Oh thank you! No secret really, I've been looking after my skin since a very young age - probably around 12/13 years old, so I guess it's all paying off now! Well, maybe the secret is that when I film my video's I sit in front of a window with the sun shining in so the lighting is working with me too 😃
Is that an Aussie accent I hear?
Sure is 😀
(I know, I have 5 books on Amazon right now.)
And no offense, but if you are going to tell me how to make money with Amazon, would it be out of line for me to ask you to show me how YOU make money on Amazon?
I am really interested, but I cannot find just a first name on Amazon to find your books. If you could send a link, that would be awesome. And if you do, I PROMISE to buy one of your books.
Yes, just publishing on Amazon puts you at risk of having your work being ripped off but publicly telling people which books are yours opens you up to a massive amount of people just waiting to copy your books. Unfortunately, there are those people out there who are just waiting to copy other people's stuff, so you will find no one tells what their books or pen names are.

Thank you for your response.
You are beautiful. Thanks
Huh?
You are so Beautiful!!!
Thank you 😄
i don't have to be any more korean than u are to be aware that kawaii is KOREAN style culture, *NOT* Japanese!!! if u had bothered to take a gander at the copy description, u ought've twigged that fact. now, have there been actual japanese (or ignorant caucasian) fans that admire this popular korean theme & seek to make it their own? sure. but as contentious an issue as japan's historic & routine co-option of korea itself, it's people & it's distinct culture - typically by theft &/or force, it's a minor but no less potentially offensive faux pas that perhaps u should consider correcting.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
