Yeah! For "ordinary" water lover, $3xx tourbillion is just truly unbelievable great value. I think Seagull also make tourbillion movement. I actually like without brand because the brand doesn't mean anything at all. You did good review and fair and objective. Nice.
Good to see you again, Ivan. I like the watch. Of course, I wouldn't buy one for myself, but it is dirt cheap (for a tourbillon) and doesn't look THAT bad, ha ha. As you said, the band/clasp is "throw-away", but if you put on something nice, it might be a conversational piece :+) Yes, it is a Hangzhou movement (I have seen in many other Chinese Tourbillon watches). however, I like the design of dial layout and clean back side. thanks for the review Ivan and have a wonderful day.
Thanks for that Alex... it's not the most awesome piece but it's the first tourbillon I can keep, so I will hang on to it until a better one comes along :)
Man I really appreciate your reviews … literally went down the rabbit hole and arrived to this tourbillon and the Sugess tourbillon ones as well …so thank you for the content this is super helpful !! ✌️ from 🇨🇦
@@PerthWAtch I went with the Sugess one that’s very similar to this one :) thanks for the info’s review. Let’s wait and see how the Sugess experience goes …
@@charlieryan531 I ended up getting 2 Sugess chronos and they work really well. I got the 1963 and the Chrono Heritage SUPAN002GN/SN V3 which is a beauty. I am still looking to get the Suearth as my first tourbillon from Sugess. Haven’t ordered that one yet. The 2 I got are really nice (both 38mm) from the Sugess website. Ended up changing my mind last second and got 2 chronos but I still want to get the SUearth tourbillon
@@joeblackwolf17 I went for it and it hasn't disappointed. Good weight and size. At first I thought the sparkle was too much but it's only from one particular angle. Really is a beauty and the watch strap is clearly an improvement from previous reviews. For now it's fine. Went all black and pleased I did. I think steel would make it too bling. The black brings the watch to the right level of starry. If you're still considering it. It's a safe buy but it really does sparkle a lot more than pics or vids on YT etc can show. Hope this finds you and yours well, cheers.
Great review! For my money I would rather pay an extra $150 (or so) for a flying tourbillion with a weighted balance wheel from Sugess/Seagull - don't get me wrong, the coaxial tourbillion as shown here is nice, but if I'm going full Chinese, I'm going FULL CHINESE!
I have always fancied a tourbillon, but not that one. I don't like the dial, the size, or the strap. For the expected cost the movement is fine though. It's £252 on Ali express, which is $348 USD
love the watch especially PTS3000 movement...i wonder need to send back to china for service? or not plan for service at all? i got a sugess tourbillon manual wind seagull movement...not sure where can get it service...not staying in china too...great review!!!!!
Great review as usual. Quite a big boy for a dress watch. 52mm L2L is really big for a dress watch, but since the spring bars sits a bit within the end of the lugs it still could wear decently even on broomstick wrists like me, even though the case would look very big. I really like how the lugs curves down, it's both aesthetic and cleverly practical. And the over all proportions with case, lugs and crown are well balanced IMO albeit over sized for me lol. I understand that tourbillon displays needs to expose as much as possible of that cool machinery, but it certainly dominates the whole damn dial here. I mean, the center of the friggin' hands had to be moved above middle due to that thingy. Personally I'd prefer a slightly smaller tourbillon display (if possible?). I also think it's a quite generic design wise over all (dial etc), like you mentioned. But it's still fascinating that it's now possible to get these type of movements for these price ranges. The question of service etc will always be an issue in the future lol. Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work.
Thanks for the comment mate! The configuration where the hands sit is more a limitation of the movement rather than the manufacturing of this watch I think... if they want to make a case where the hands are centred, it would be even larger! As for smaller tourbillon... again a limitation of the movement. I guess one would somehow make the aperture smaller but that would partly defeat the purpose :)
Didn't I see a version of this where the dial sparkles? I thought it was made of some kind of quartz material....was very cool because it looked like twinkling stars.
Something different again which is good. Tourbillon interesting to watch for 5 minutes then, whats it there for? No need on a wristwatch, just more to go wrong. Strap doesn't look good but I think it would look wrong on a bracelet, maybe a milanese.
It’s there for showing of watchmaking virtuosity of course :) I think a dress style watch like this belongs on leather… but the one it came on was just average. Can easily find much better!

Thanks for that - glad you enjoyed this!
I really like it! I'm into astronomy so love the dial. I can see one in my collection in the future for sure.
Cheers Ivan 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice - I don’t know if the stars on there even make any sense!
@@PerthWAtch can't say I recognised any of the constellations, assumed that they were the southern sky. Cheers 👍🏻
I doubt it’d be intended to be southern skies… this is Chinese

@@joeblackwolf17 which one and how did it go? I'm going to pull the trigger on one very soon. Aesop, merker (typo?) or yours.

Great work with the review, absolutely love that dial. But is it just me or does the tourbillion not sit right in the middle of the dial?
Thanks - yes it's not in the middle, it's actually at the bottom :D

Haha nicely put!
it is a flying toubillion as in the whole thing is rotating
Can you kindly give a specific name?
Another great review. I got mine for $265 at the 11/11 sale

Yeah I agree, the dial is a bit meh... but what about the size? Do these come smaller?
Awesome! How is this watch still holding up after 3 months?
Holds up fine but you really shouldn’t be asking a watch reviewer about their own experiences of longer term durability

Glad to be here! 🙏🏼
Welcome
Are you sure they didn’t provide the bag to improve the spin ability of the box?
Good point - they didn't explicitly stipulate this so I chose not to spin in bag ;)
Hey, great review! How is the watch running after a year?
I don’t wear any watch much, but it still works fine
I’ve never seen someone spin the box and talk about “spinability” hahaha I had a good laugh about that. Great review though! Thanks
That’s coz I invented and patented the spinability rating ;)

Thanks for that man :)
I love it thanks Ivan good review
Thanks James - most welcome :)
Looks magnificent, I’m just wondering when are the watchmakers going to realize that buyer wants the watch 40 mm or under ?
Haha, yes, good question! Let me know when you find out :)
Didn't I see a version of this where the dial sparkles? I thought it was made of some kind of quartz material....was very cool because it looked like twinkling stars.
Probably just a sparkly sticker. Or could be the proper sparkly material called aventurine.
Would you still recommend this watch. Looking at buying one for 400 aud.
400AUD is ok
@PerthWAtch thanks for the response, I might just get a bulova instead maybe. It wouldn't be as noisy.
That is very true!
Would the torbillon not need to move on three axis to do what it is purported to do?
Yep. These don’t really do the trick anymore - original idea was conceived for pocket watches which spend almost all the time vertical when carried.
Well, this is "just" a regular tourbillon, gyro-tourbillons cost an order of magnitude more and don't seem to have affordable copies yet
I remember just couple of years ago cheapest tourbillion was like $1500
A couple of years ago? I don't think so...
Thanks to youtbe that is going to be world famous
What?

Hi there,
Please send me the link to the site with the best price for that watch, if you will have time for that.
Thanks,

I just noticed a mistake on the number 4, is written IIII instead of IV.
Not a mistake - it’s very common to do that on watch dials
You can get this exact watch for $200 on Ali express
Amazing
That watch has been "fabled" to be decent. HAHA. Aesop. Fable. HAHAHA... haha... ha.
I'll show myself out.
Very nice ;)
The applied numerals don't look as if they are lined up correctly ... though I'm not really a tourbillon fan anywhy !
I think that's coz it's an asymmetric dial?
Is it a true tourbillon?
What do you think?
What is true and false?
@@PerthWAtch he's referring to those watches that claim "tourbillon" but are just open heart dial.
Never seen one… usually they use terms like “tourbillon effect” or “simulated tourbillon”
I think is a Hangzhou PTS 3300 movement. I'm receiving my Aesop this week. 326€
Nice, thanks!!
Great job China
Yes!
Sorry 300
Is that the movie about the Spartans?
@@PerthWAtch lol 😂 yeah and also the correct price on aliexpress
