She deserves an Oscar nomination 💯
This interview made me so emotional for some reason! Seeing the interviewers beaming with happiness and excitement for Greta was so sweet. It also seems that this has yet to sink in for Greta, but I pray this is just the beginning of a lifetime of success for her, she is so deserving!!!
OMG the movie is out since July in the states, these three hosts interview her in December and they have NOT watched the movie to prepare?!?! This is just embarrassing.

Best Lead Actress Golden Globe nomination for “Past Lives,” Greta Lee -she deserves to win it and win it big!!!! The lesson in this film is this "A mind is a terrible thing to waste" is a well-known slogan of the UNCF, used to raise awareness about the importance of education and the arts and the potential that is lost when individuals do not have access to quality education. When individuals (like the chilhood love) do not have the opportunity to develop his intellectual abilities and talents like the main character, it is a loss not only for them (and his chilhood love) but also for society as a whole. It emphasizes the value of education and the need to ensure that everyone has the chance to reach their full potential.
When her childhood love said to her in the movie: "I'm just an ordinary guy" And there is a scene in the movie that depicted this- where he as a young child walks on the horizonal street and simultaneously she walks up on an incline of stairs. This scene was showing us that educational arts and educations (elevates our mindset and capabilities) is what really separate people more than distances. An not having opportunity (to educate yourself in arts and education) makes you ordinary or gives you a convenional mindset where the sky is not the limit in oppotunites. So , if he (the childhood love) was not denied a rich artful education like the main characters parets gave her. Both her and her chilhood love is a victims of their unequal childhood enviroments.
In addition ,when ,the main character asked her childhood love to come to New York (when they were in their early 20's -when both( at that time) did not have any romantic attacments but themselves). If her chilhood love would have had parents like she did that was able to give him a cosmopolitan education- he most likely would have never said "I'm going to China-where there was little opportuntity to grow" because he would have been so cultivated in the arts and in education that he would known the value of coming in America versus China at that time (and even today in most cases). Also , it would have been his arts and educational background to allow him to take advantage of that opportunity that New york provided over China. And this is what it meant: "A mind is a terrible thing to waste" And I know this from experience (over and over and over again). If my mom didn't cultivate us like the main character parents did. I would not be be a computer engineer today. And many of my siblings would not have master degrees. This hiddnen plain sight idea in this “Past Lives,” Greta Lee movie really broke my heart. Thank you for waking us up!!!!

You, Greta, really hit me, 56 year old white heterosexual guy from The Netherlands, hard. And your colleague John Magaro, well, you don't get them much thát vulnerable, so insecure, he was so good in showing een person like myself. Thank you for that. Teo Yoo, you can be MY friend, although you ask maybe 1 question too much?! Celine, you will get a really great future as a writer, as a director. I will look forward the things you will do!

A good case for NOT rushing into relationship with odd Asian woman. You know? I think people see Asian women as being into that type of game. It turn some dudes on. My best friend, in middle school, into my sister, and I thinking, jeez, this guy mess up. It not for everyone, but probably a well-deserve nomination. She do a pretty good, interview.
