I about flipped my shit when I realized this was designed around simply holding down the accelerator, and not trying to navigate it all. That is far more impressive to me than a regular track design that you were able to work it out to get the physics just right rather than just designing a nice-looking course to drive around.
This deserves several million views. Hot DAMN. My jaw was in my lap the whole time. It felt like seeing the last race in the Speed Racer movie again for the first time. Well fuckin' done, amigo.

@Axelover4ever They hit the gas a split second before the "GO!", allowing them to start at -0.13 seconds. It might be a glitch, but I think it could have been intentional.
I hope you all understand that this is a "press forward" track. You dont have to turn, just gas and your finishing. But it is the hell of a good work with the track and timing and that stuff!

i downloaded and played this game to realize how hard it was (I'm really used to FzeroGX [similar tack design]) and not being able to control in midair or react instantly to anything makes give tis game a super need for precision. this video blew me away
just go to the file you just downloaded, right click it and select "open with..." then select Trackmania and also select for your computer to always to this for files from this type while you're at it.
I can't figure out if your comment is a snide remark from an audiophile, or if you're just fucking with us? I just gave it a listen (i own the CD as well), and besides the slight compressed sound, it's the exact same song.
I think the compression makes it sound better, strangely enough. I'm not sure why, but the song has this freeflowing cool nature to it that I don't hear in the album version. Maybe it's just because I have sensitive hearing and grew to love the song from this video.
I just got the flac of this song just to hear it and holy shot you are right. Basically all you hear here are the drums and the what I guess is guitar? In the FLAC there are like 4 more instruments.
