I'm not going to claim, everything was perfect during Ottoman Era. It had it flaws, especially towards the end. Since the trade routes had shifted, Ottoman economy was weaker. Weaker economy meant weaker empire. This gave a big chance to the hands of other imperial powers like Brittain and France to manipulate the region. It was not just the Arab majority lands. They did the same in Balkans and Eastern Europe. Smaller nations revolted. Im sure Turks were stunned by the amount of rebellions. In truth, Ottomans were in general fair and good towards locals. They did not pressure them to abandon their cultures, languages, or religions. But rising nationalism (which was a plan from the beginning) really hurt the empire. People did not question their actions. To them, they were doing the right thing by demanding their tiny kingdoms and republics as long as it was just for their nations. But i think the hardest for a Turkish soldier was to be martyred by another muslim brother's bullet. In the end, yes they were given kingdoms and states. But all are under strict control and influence of western nations since then. Funny thing is, they are kinda ok with it. As long as the upper hand is not another muslim, they're ok with a nonmuslim upper hand. Well, since then, bloodshed and injustice are walking on muslim lands. Today, the only candidate for the upper hand is Turks again. Will they be supported by its muslim brothers? Or will their upper hand be welcomed? I doubt that. Saud or UAE still prefer having joint military drills with Greece. Iran supports Armania, Egypt makes a maritime deal with greece, etc etc.. why? They will not accept Turks to get stronger and lead the ummah. They prefer suffering together under Western control.

My mother's uncle (I am 55 years old) fought first in Çanakkale and then in Yemen. I'm not going to claim, everything was perfect during Ottoman Era. It had it flaws, especially towards the end. Since the trade routes had shifted, Ottoman economy was weaker. Weaker economy meant weaker empire. This gave a big chance to the hands of other imperial powers like Brittain and France to manipulate the region. It was not just the Arab majority lands. They did the same in Balkans and Eastern Europe. Smaller nations revolted. Im sure Turks were stunned by the amount of rebellions. In truth, Ottomans were in general fair and good towards locals. They did not pressure them to abandon their cultures, languages, or religions. But rising nationalism (which was a plan from the beginning) really hurt the empire. People did not question their actions. To them, they were doing the right thing by demanding their tiny kingdoms and republics as long as it was just for their nations.
But i think the hardest for a Turkish soldier was to be martyred by another muslim brother's bullet. In the end, yes they were given kingdoms and states. But all are under strict control and influence of western nations since then. Funny thing is, they are kinda ok with it. As long as the upper hand is not another muslim, they're ok with a nonmuslim upper hand. Well, since then, bloodshed and injustice are walking on muslim lands. Today, the only candidate for the upper hand is Turks again. Will they be supported by its muslim brothers? Or will their upper hand be welcomed? I doubt that. Saud or UAE still prefer having joint military drills with Greece. Iran supports Armania, Egypt makes a maritime deal with greece, etc etc.. why? They will not accept Turks to get stronger and lead the ummah. They prefer suffering together under Western control.

My mother's uncle (I am 55 years old) fought first in Çanakkale and then in Yemen. When I studied Arab countries archives i read Ottomans withdrew all their soldiers from north africa , stopped sending weapons to Morocco, and let Europeans invade all Arab countries for free, I found out Ottomans started to leave Islam and stopped Applying sharia law, rejected prophet Muhammad traditions & practiced extreme sufis practice or left Islam as population in Istanbul, from the 18 the century so according to Islamic scholars they were not allowed to rule Mecca,Arab scholars of Madina made kufr on ottoman rulers in 1919 because they didn't apply Islamic law in Madina in Istanbul. Whole population of Turkish people rejected to rule by Islam: so they had to be kicked out.

Ottoman Empire had already signed their death warrant when Mahmud V sided with German empire during world war 1 despite warnings of his advisers who wanted them to stay neutral. The same advisers who predicted what was shown in the video was going to happen if they picked a side mind you but sultan was swayed by Germany’s early victories against Belgium which fell in a month. Even in the war, they were so bad Germany had to repeatedly divide their forces to come to aid the ottomans in their war against Russia and if it wasn’t for Bulgaria entering the war in 1916, Ottoman Empire would have fallen in 1916 without Arabs ever even rebelling.
