If I'd become a multi millionare in next few years, I'd make Woodstock 2019 happen. Headliners would be same as 99': Limp fuckin' Bizkit RATM KoRn Metallica Offspring RHCP -few hundred thousand people - improved safety but still maintained freedom and positive "chaos" - no fucking cameras and cellphones allowed - ask bands to play old setlists Incase I don't become millionare, we should raise interest for this show, and if there's enough of us, somebody could see profit in such show and make it
I always tell people woodstock 99 would be the one concert i could go to if i could choose any concert ever and i just found this performance. I wouldve gone nuts if i were there in person man.
im so damn glad that Limp Bizkit is back together and touring atm (festivals). I hope they'll hit the studio soon to make a damn awesome old skool new album.
for me i like to rembember limp bizkit and korn of this era.they changed my life. now id like remember these glorious days.jus say thanks for what they have done for me
I remember 2002 when i was 12 and i saw their "Take a look around" video on Russian MTV. And this changed my life)) Years passed, my music preferences changed a bit (DnB, Trip-Hop and some other styles) but Limp Bizkit always will be on my PC/MP3 player)))I hope they will be back and rock this world with "THree dollar bill yalls" sound :D
Was day 2 of Woodstock 99, i woke up with a hangover from the first night. I was on my couch and wasn't even going to go the 2nd day but my friend called & quit his job so he could go & i waited for him to walk over, downed some beers & went to the show wich was only 5 mins from my house, i could hear the music loud and clear at my house. I orderd it on PPV also. It was so cool to watch what was going on on tv & hear it out my windows at the same time. My town never rocked so hard.
I didn't think much of this event since '94 is kinda SACRED GROUND to me but LB does have some of the best clips from this "festival". FAITH is also a real good dose of what actually WENT DOWN with the LB set! Thx 2 da poster of this!
wes was the sound...and a good portion of the innovation of limp bizkit...so its never going to be the same without him, which is why they died out, not sold out...
planning their come back, on tour within less then a month and planning to make a new album with the same sound as they had when they began, check the web site, all the original members are back now as well!
Limp Bizkit are a lot better than many give them credit for, and plus me and Fred were born and raised and the same town, which is cool to think about.
Thank you for that, yes the whole band is beyond talented I agree, and put together they create priceless music that will last throught the generations, just watch! You'll see! :-) Long Live LB.....Original LB!
This guys know how to jam live thats the thing i like about Limp Bizkit, they all have Energy and the jump while performing not like other bands that are boring to look at while playing
becoz of them and this album, I started listening to metal songs.. thanks to my cousins.. otherwise id prolly be still listening to backstreet boys n its crew.. lol.. I was in 5th grade the year was 98 when I first listened to limp bizkit.. memories..
In 2000 the Mars Volta Dropped De-Loused in the Comatorium. That Revolutionized the musical industry. If you have not heard it. Go listen to it because 10 years later it's still under rated, and one of the most amazing albums of all time. Limp B! Miss ya'll. Wes, what up my ganster lean nigga to the mother fucking max!
The problem is that everyone dislikes them because of Fred D, but when you look at it from a musical point of view they were pioneers with out them No Linkin Park or any of those cross bands. As far as I see it they are and will always be amazing and unique in many areas.
one of my favorite bands and I dont even know the bass players name, but you all gotta agree he is a REALLY REALLY good bassist! Up there with Flea & John Paul Jones! Im so f'n glad I got to see this show!!!!! Best live show in my life ever!
"The unquestionable truth" is the new album with Wes back in the band.I think its pretty good.I liked the band before they got famous.Saw them at the cellblock in Philly.People dont like them anymore cause they have to follow the critics.liked them then, still like them now.
I swear man that feels like yesterday. One of the best weekends ever!!
If I'd become a multi millionare in next few years, I'd make Woodstock 2019 happen.
Headliners would be same as 99':
Limp fuckin' Bizkit
RATM
KoRn
Metallica
Offspring
RHCP
-few hundred thousand people
- improved safety but still maintained freedom and positive "chaos"
- no fucking cameras and cellphones allowed
- ask bands to play old setlists
Incase I don't become millionare, we should raise interest for this show, and if there's enough of us, somebody could see profit in such show and make it
This is an awesome comment. I would be down to attend this if it happened.
I always tell people woodstock 99 would be the one concert i could go to if i could choose any concert ever and i just found this performance. I wouldve gone nuts if i were there in person man.
