Well, IMO Canon EOS 70D is still the best APS-C DSLR apart from the flagship 7D II. It provides everything I need. I’m in favor of maintaining one FF and one APS-C body in my arsenal. However, in both the cases I’ve opted for the older models. Bought 70D early 2018 and 5D II late same year. My logic is; both the DSLRs offer everything necessary to produce quality images which is my prime necessity. On 70D, it’s a fantastic sports camera catering to my needs of wildlife photography. The burst rate is great, excellent focusing and yes, I do adore the Dual-pixel technology that I frequently use on Live View. It stands out from the previous models especially for the touch focus and shutter when necessary. It gives me a lot of leverage. The subsequent model 80D is almost the same as 70D. But the recently introduced 90D is a pain in my opinion. The overcrowded sensor of 32 MP is total insanity! Such tiny pixels on a smaller sensor produces terrible noise and inferior IQ than the 70D. I understand camera manufacturers cram their sensors with high pixel counts mainly to cater to the ignorant segment who constitute a big percentage of camera buyers these days - obviously they are not photographers. They are convinced high pixel count means better camera, ironically failing to notice the flagship EOS 1Dx III packs much fewer pixels!

I Still Use the Canon 70D Till This Day, for Photography & Videography. It's My Go-To Camera. My Favorite Features in 70D is the Auto Focus & Touch Flip Screen. I Have the Canon 5D Mark III, and I Barely Use It. (Bulky & Heavy AF) I Respect Your Input & a Good B-Roll Shot. Kadeers!!!
Awesome review, I too own the 70d along with the sigma 70-200 2.8 os and sigma 2x converter, sigma 17-50-2.8, canon 50 IS STM 1.8, canon 10-18 IS STM, canon 18-135 IS STM and canon 55-250 IS STM all in a camera backpack that holds it all including a tripod. I've been thinking of upgrading to the canon 90d which would work with All lenses above but maybe will wait a couple years till the price drops as all photo stuff does. What are your thoughts, should I just stay with the 70d? I forgot to mention that I have the silicone glove that fits the 70d specially and fits my hand perfectly.
That’s a pretty awesome collection of Lens for the 70d or for aps-c!!! Lately I had chance to hold on to a 90d unfortunately no time for review for that :( it’s a awesome upgrade! I would love to upgrade to 90d but if I’d put the money in something in this price range that would ff! Difficult to make the compromise honestly... I’m struggling now I’m between Sony and canon... I would love to try a 90d for a longer period of time for sure! Canon new product lines are also very interesting! They’re working on their stuff really a lot!
Hi! I recently started using my 70d for video as well (only in studio for behind the scenes videos) I am struggling with the lighting but managing to fix it in pro premiere
Unfortunately that’s highly improbable :( as far as my knowledge goes there’s no space to boost:( I do use ff lens as they are on the 70d but I gotta say I did use and I will go back to use efs lenses cause so many great ones out there! I do own a 5dmkii and I gotta say for its current second hand price that camera is a magic :D
hello sir, loved the video btw i'm looking forward to buy my first dslr but i am in the middle bitween the 70d and the Nikkon D5500, can you help me? thank you
Hey! Honestly I don’t know that much about that Nikon but I like the variety of lens among the canons! And the 70d is a pretty awesome first dslr you can get! I would go with that one!!
Well i really love the nifty fifty!! 50mm Or I was very content with the 24-105 but that f4 should be f2.8 With the f2.8 the shots can be sooo creamy and amazing!

Hello.... i own the 70D. Recently i noticed something weird , when taking photos using manual focus the photos are very sharp but when using the autofocus , i can see a slight blur along the edges of objects(canon 18-200 used in both the cases) . can you help me in this .
I do believe that is gonna be the issue with the lens! Now that I was thinking about it I did hear this problem before! There’s a way to calibrate this!! In my experience the long overlenses can be really inaccurate 18-200 it’s a huge distance! Versatile but has accuracy problem! Try the focus calibration it can help a lot!!
Difficult to say cause the 5d is full frame I do love that :) that’s insane how good it is still today :) the 70d is also versatile cause it has that sweet dual pixel af But ascp sensor! Little more sensitive.. Depends what you want to do with it really
Well difficult to say.. bc the 70 is apsc with dual pixel af which is lovely but the 5dmk2 has a few sensor with really nice depth :) but no af during video
Not bad actually but somehow it’s not my cup of tea I would rather use t series then or buy an older 5d mkii! I own one of those and it’s still great!!
I have this camera and almost EVERYONE asks what it shooting with annnnd I don’t say much but it’s a canon😂 they all shoot high end Sony and 5ds this piece of equipment keeps up with almost all them except at low light... follow on IG @33mmphotography for samples of work

That is very true! It is indeed a very great camera! Having as a side wing with an FF makes it really valuable!

I'm looking for a budget camera to release me from using my webcam to make my RUclips videos. This was really helpful. New sub for you.
Thank you so much!!:) I hope you’ll enjoy the future content as well! I’m going to make a video about my setup real soon!!:)
@@WittmanRecords cool. I'll look out for it. Maybe you could tell me is it easy to connect a microphone to the 70d?
Pretty Penny Club it is very easy! It has its own plug on the side of the camera many different mics can be connected!
Best color still 2023

Do NOT forget the ton of the extra features you receive on 70D with the Magic Lantern! Magic Lantern is not available for 80D or 90D ... :)
It is reallly true! 70D can run ML and I used is well for many different reasons!! Good point!!:)
Can you put a speed booster on the 70D so it will act as a full frame??
