Sorry can you just go over that again from the beginning - oh, but you'll need a an engine to work on...here, you can use mine... Seriously, thanks very much for sharing, I'll be using this as reference when I pull my own engine soon.
Actually I have a request...it's the setting up of twin carbs that I'm anxious about...when I got my bus ('80 T25 CU engine) I had a running problem (actually a failed rubber vacuum hose) but a garage I sent it too messed around with the carb settings to try and tune out the fault without ever noticing or replacing the hose. I've now done the hose, but I'd like to 'reset' the carbs to a 'baseline' setting. What would you recommend please?
Hello, The settings will be the subject of a future video. Set the screws including the air horn at 2 1/2 turns. check that the little rubber seals are ok. This will give you a start point. Hope this helps. Cordialement.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Your videos are very helpful. My carbs have never run better after watching your video.
Another excellent video! I am about to rebuild my type 4....these are very confidence boosting films!! Thanks...from Australia!
Glad it helped

Fantastic work, nice to see the engine model featured in my camper (82 T25), on the work bench. I would not have the conference to remove the engine.
Really good!!
another well delivered detailed video, thank you

where did you order the flexi pipe from - is it heat-rated specific pipe?
Hello, the flexy pipe is the hot air conduit for a diesel heater, posing no problems so far, it blows cold air..
