After living in China for 3-4 years now I can tell you, it is an amazing country. I love the culture, people, the convenience, the gaotie, the food, and so much more. Lately I am back in Germany due to a serious sickness so that I can spend time with family and friends. And since I am here, I find it so hard to talk with people about these topics, because they already have a certain image of the country in their heads made up by the western media. Very well presented. Like you have I been a long time resident of China and get very frustrated by the constant negativity in the Western media. You're probably not as old as me, but when I think back to my youth and we had the ever present threat of the cold war with Russia I believe there's an ingrained mistrust in the west among the population of anything related to communism. While the Chinese communist government is a far cry for the USSR of the 1960's, people can't disassociate the two. Add to this the western media who promote as much negativity as possible about China and it's kind of a perfect storm for the anti China brigade. Look at the MAGA followers and their ridiculous beliefs about their own government, they just lap up the hatred spewed the Western media.

Now, I see how empty American theater is and why it was never satisfying and always infuriating. I will never ever watch any western made movies or plays ever again. If you are interested in Chinese history, you can watch some historical TV series, such as "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms", "The Great Ming Dynasty 1566", "The Great Qin Empire", "Kangxi Dynasty"，and "General History of China". If you are interested in philosophy, you can read "Tao Te Ching" and "Book of Changes", etc. Many ancient Chinese books are very esoteric, and even a native Chinese may not be able to understand them, but if you can learn some Chinese, you will find that you have opened up a new world.

Me & my sons went to the F1 in Shanghai, which Riciardo won, (2018). We're from Australia. After the race the authorities ushered us to the very front of the queue to the train, beyond over 500 Chinese citizens waiting in long, numbered pens. We were very thankful, but absolutely willing to wait our turn. Kudos for a people who understand that foreigners might not know the the rules.

Thank you for your analysis. I agree the U.S. rulers want to be #1 and have no real competition. China is a viable and surging economic competitor to the U.S. and the West. I think China engages in the world market through trade and the Belt and Road Initiative. The U.S. talks a good game about 'democracy' but wants to dominate militarily - with over 800 military bases around the world (whereas China has 1 in Djibouti to combat piracy). I think the U.S. empire is in serious decline (economically) and is a major threat to world peace. It just flexed its military muscle by shooting down a weather balloon and saying it was spy/surveillance balloon. Many U.S. citizens don't realize China has many satellites if it wants to spy on other nations. It's illogical for China to use a 200-foot white balloon to spy on other countries. Thank you for your videos as they help to educate those of us in the West who are open to understanding the real situation in China.

Me & my sons went to the F1 in Shanghai, which Riciardo won, (2018). We're from Australia. After the race the authorities ushered us to the very front of the queue to the train, beyond over 500 Chinese citizens waiting in long, numbered pens. We were very thankful, but absolutely willing to wait our turn. Kudos for a people who understand that foreigners might not know the the rules.

Thank you for your analysis. I agree the U.S. rulers want to be #1 and have no real competition. China is a viable and surging economic competitor to the U.S. and the West. I think China engages in the world market through trade and the Belt and Road Initiative. The U.S. talks a good game about 'democracy' but wants to dominate militarily - with over 800 military bases around the world (whereas China has 1 in Djibouti to combat piracy). I think the U.S. empire is in serious decline (economically) and is a major threat to world peace. It just flexed its military muscle by shooting down a weather balloon and saying it was spy/surveillance balloon. Many U.S. citizens don't realize China has many satellites if it wants to spy on other nations. It's illogical for China to use a 200-foot white balloon to spy on other countries. Thank you for your videos as they help to educate those of us in the West who are open to understanding the real situation in China.

China has already developed the 5.5G and installing the gear in some 1st tier cities, soon by next 1-2 years 6G would on the way in its digital infrastructure!
I do my best to keep myself informed and up to date and I figured out a bunch of these claims are either BS or severely overblown but whenever I try to set the record straight often the instant reaction I get is "Tanky", "Here, have 50 cents", "Tiananmen never happened", "Winnie's sympathizer" etc. thus any conversation that is to be had is shut down faster than that balloon.
