      Thanks for the lovely comments bro 😎 Bro one thing, I actually removed the additional blind spot mirror. Bcos the one I got was v useful , it gave me better view surely than the stock. But in the blindspot mirror vehicles which I could see in the mirror were actually v close to me in the real situation. Meaning in the blindspot mirror it would appear in normal distance but in real-time they were just behind me. They were convex mirrors....so I found it dangerous n removed it. So keep this in mind

    Hey buddy
    Amazing video!
    Mind sharing your feedback of these like after 2 years now?
    Do these drain the battery significantly?
    Since interceptor produces 156 watts max
    And headlamp stock and other things take up considerable amount of wattage leaving far less room
    Any issues you encountered?

    • @RoshanSridhar
      @RoshanSridhar  Год назад +1

      Hie bro sorry for the late reply. There has been no effect on battery as yet. I haven't replaced the stock battery till now. And I have used the fog lights quote often on night rides. I would suggest you to go for the maddog alpha model if you can stretch , as it has double the lumens. And you could certainly use more light at night

  • @MotuSethGopangamDas
    @MotuSethGopangamDas 3 года назад +2

    Awesome! I was thinking to go for the Alpha lights. But, I now feel that the Scout X are more than enough.
    Does mounting the lights on the forks cause any longterm problems? I mean with the movement of the forks and all. Any way to mount them near the headlight? Thanks.

    • @RoshanSridhar
      @RoshanSridhar  3 года назад +5

      Hey bro, if ur planning to buy newly. I would suggest you to go for Alpha. I am also planning to upgrade mine to alpha. Just need to replace the lights. Mounts , wiring and switch would be the same. Reason to upgrade is not that scout x is inadequate. But if your the only person on the highway, riding at night. Then the more brightness you have the safer. This would be my suggestion. Regarding mounting, Maddog only gives mount at the forks. So if u find the right headlight mounts you can fix it there. But I would recommend the fork as this is the idle position to mount aux lights so that you get visibility and also not blind the person coming in the opposite direction. But then again it's ur wish. I generally use aux lights strictly only when needed and if there is no oncoming traffic.

    Hi! Great video. I'm curious about the seat which you have on. I didn't find something on that in your videos, so I thought I'll ask only. :) What seat is that? Is it better than the touring seat? How long can you ride before fatigue hits your bums? Is it touring seat only and you have added a brown cover to it? How much it costs? If it's an after market then where can I get one? Can I order it online?

    • @RoshanSridhar
      @RoshanSridhar  3 года назад +1

      No bro , it's just a cushioned seat cover in brown colour over the stock seat. I dnt have a touring seat as I have tried the touring seat in my friends bike and didn't find it worthwhile purchasing. This seat cover costs 1200 on Amazon. It's from a brand sahara. You can order in on their website too. It gives u better comfort than the stock. For long distance upwards 300kms I use air float seats from 'FEGO', you can find it on Amazon too. That would be a better alternative. You can see that air seat on my previous Hampi vlog. I have ridden 310 kms non stop with the air seat on stopping only for petrol once. That would cost between 1400-1900 depending on the model u pick

      Hi bro, scout x seems adequate but recently two more better models have been launched ie alpha and delta. Alpha is 10k and twice powerful than scoutx. If you have the budget I would suggest you go for it. But use it sensibly on highways , some idiots use it often more than necessary and blind people coming from the opposite direction. Once you start riding at night , you probably adapt to it only through experience. That being said . I have ridden at nights, and in rains and both together. They are v good. When you ride at night. I don't go beyond 80-100 as it's pitch dark on highways. The speed of the bike doesn't much affect the light. And the waterproofing on the bike has given me no such issues till now too. But if I have the budget for a new light I would go for Alpha model of maddog. It has double the throw. They said a few points out of which they said...the power of your auxlight should be equal or less than you're headlight. From what I know. Int 650s stock headlight produces 4800lumens. Maddog also produces the same. Whereas HJG 60 model produces 6400 lumens. Which is more than stock headlight.. I considered all this and purchased Maddog...ofcourse hjg will perform better than Maddog because it has more power output 6400>4800... I wanted to go with Denali D4 which has better output.... Maddog ke done light milake 4800ate hai. Aur hjg ke 6400 dono milake as specified in their website. Bro this is surely better than having just stock headlight....M not saying it's the Only option. Better wale zaroor hai....Per due to other criterias like waterproofing and rto rules, I choose this. Anyways Cheers😊 happy riding

      @@RoshanSridhar power is calculated in watts and not lumens. These Scout X lights consume 20 watts each so that totals to 40 watts of power consumption. Compare that to your stock headlights (low + high beam power input) and then you can make sure if you are complying with that rule or not.
      P.S. - Lumens are just a way of calculating performance compared to power input.

      There are two new powerful versions from the same brand as well. Try them if you have the budget. Alpha for 9700 and delta for 7700

      Currently there are 3 models in the maddog lineup with alpha being their brightest. Hjg is equally good as well . Few of my friends own it
