The air vents below on the factory touring seat is missing / covered in metal. There are special 3d net technology used and has special fibre like material in-between the foam covered in net on the factory seat. This reduces the vibrations if any. Unsure if all this is missing in the custom metal seat.

Aperterso I have not really tried putting water its not really water proof but few sprinkles wouldn’t damage it. I would suggest not to leave in heavy rain.

Raj, I loved it! And your biker boots! I love those two. You can ride, jump off your bike, and hop right into the shower to get ready for a date that much more quickly! Think about how many romances were lost because too much time was wasted untying boot laces!

Hi, this seat looks good. Looks well made. The pillion needs a kick up too. If not a kick up, then at least be an incline

I feel the seat isn't bad looking, it's the proportion. I feel bigger tank will make it more aesthetic and symmetrical.
Just my view,
Adding height to rear seat will make it more comfortable as the distance between rear seat and pegs increase.
