@12:25 you where not giving it a cance. That design requires the bucket to be curled uo as far as possible to allow the elbow in the device to address the strain on the metal it is made from. The bend in it is where the strength lies , not the clamp meant to just hold it in place-- Why didn't you just hook a chain to a tree and slide it off the edge ?
I bent the bucket on my T494 the first day. Went to the dealer and asked them why does TYM build a tractor with a 3000 pound lift capacity and then put a 500 pound lift capacity bucket on it.
I believe it was GoodWorks Tractors that commented on John Deere buckets being sheet metal thin. At least on the smaller compact and subcompacts. So it is not just the South Korean tractors. I put a Kioti reversible cutting edge on my ck2610 bucket and it is great. Heavy hunk of metal to protect bucket from accidental bending. Yup, your tractor bucket sure is “smiling”😊..
I hate to "bash" a company, but I must give my honest opinion. I have ordered a couple of things for my sub-compact tractor from the same company (Titan Attachments) and I have been less than pleased. The first thing that I ordered was a clamp-on set of pallet forks. They have worked and done what I need them to do with my sub-compact tractor (keep in mind we are not talking heavy lifting or duty). I still use them frequently almost weekly. My complaint is that they don't stay clamped to the bucket very well if I do anything other than lift no matter how tight I crank down on them. Also, the nuts/bolts that they are fabricated with are regular steel which doesn't do well in a wet/humid environment like we have here in north/central Florida. The next thing that I ordered was a middle buster with a 2" hitch receiver. The middle buster worked just fine until I came across a large tree root. It bent from the tractor pulling on it. Also, the hitch receiver would not take a standard hitch until I did some filing on it (probably from the paint/powder coat on the attachment). Finally, I ordered a hitch for my John Deere Gator which again, I had to work on it to make it work. Again as I said, I don't really want to bash a company because I do think that they sell some good products.
I don't take it as bashing them. It is the truth. They make things that are decent, but they also make crappy stuff. And they steal designs from other small US companies. That's the part I don't like.
I seriously doubt if you can "BEND" a "Kubota Loader Bucket"... reason= ing Kubogy's bucket's are VERY robust & the Hydraulic SYSTEMS Are WEAK. Have a LA 1056 loader on a Mx5200 & it WILL Lift 2200lbs to full height ( on the pins) 1700lbs in the loader bucket to 9+ feet any more than this & on level ground ; even with the Back-hoe on would be DANGEROUS. Thanks Kubota for having "week hydraulic's " and saving my life many times. They just don't know "how to build" an "easy load " bucket so l "slapped on a light duty skid-loader buck & it Acts like a Totally different Machine.
Turn it over. The screw should on the plate should go behind the cutting edge which is lower than the bottom of the bucket. That will be something for it to catch against.
I drilled a hole in the center of my bucket big enough for a 2-3/4 trailer hitch ball , Wasnt easy to drill but its handy to throw a chain around it to pull or lift things , Its also nice to pull trailers around with if needed !
I love the end it's like you were trying to find something good to say about the attachment and just finally came to the realization there really wasn't anything. $70 👎 $35 🧐🤔👎 ....😂 Great vid 👍
Looks good for a straight lift. It did bend your bucket when you made the lift. I myself would not buy it. I would opt for welded hooks on top lip of bucket 👍
😢Hank, Can't believe you would waste your money on that! Oh that's right you made a video with it and I was the dumb A that watched it and knew it was JUNK before hand!!! And as far buckets on compack and subcompack tractors tractors they JUNK! I'm a retired farmer and certified CAT&CUMMINGS knuckle buster and the off grid and DIY stuff today is throw away!!!
I agree, not much account. I have several titan products, the debris forks and the pallet fork system, taking the bucket off and using the forks is a great way to move stuff. I also have the Payne bolt on forks, and they work fine, but I have pushed mine past the limit and the top bar to tighten them have bent, my fault on that one. I never thought about bucket strength, my J/D is very strong. But that bucket of yours is junk for bolting stuff to it, horrible smile. I got the vevor top of bucket attachment, looked great with d-rings, hooks and receiver hitch (junk) too small for a 2 inch hitch, should have got a better one for the same price. . Great video and there are some other models that hook under the bucket cutting edge and will not pull off. and Titan does make a better model for a bit more money, keep up the great work and information highway. Thanks for your work
Me thinks you should have downloaded the manual. I have a clamp on hitch receiver made similarly to that and I think you have it upside down. The washer on mine goes on the bottom of the bucket and the thicker part of the cutting edge keeps the hitch from sliding off of the front of the bucket. Also I think if you’ll look at the screw you’ll find a threaded hole where an Alan head screw will hold your washer on. Without the washer it’s ain’t gonna do anything
Flip it around so the locking bolt has the cutting edge to keep it from sliding/pulling off the bucket. I really hate that folks confuse Titan Attachments with the old Titan Implements, which is now IronCraft. IronCraft makes some extremely good products.
I welded on hooks from Ken's like you did. They work great. The bar from JUFabworks looks like another great option since it puts a trailer ball where you can see it from the seat.
I hate clamp on bucket attachments but this one would have worked better if you had pushed the clamp completely onto the bucket would have kept it from pivoting back and forth so badly.
This is a fun video Hank, I'd love to see more stuff like this. Just watching you break cheap Chinese junk, well, it means we don't have to. Lol. Just got to throw it out there, the bucked on my Kioti is a little more stout. 😏
Hey Hank.. that's has a few issues I see.... The round pressure screw clamp plate doesn't rotate separately from the threaded rod so getting proper pressure seems more difficult than necessary, until it breaks😢. Giving it a full watch.

More and more I’m convinced that Hank and Wiley are the only two sane people on RUclips!!

I think you're right, I think it was GWT. It's a great and not well covered topic.

I opted for the heavy duty cutting edge on my Kubota bucket edge to help avoid bending. I think its a wise investment.
Yeah I probably will get a piranha bar

It not called a bow, it’s called a 😅Smiley Face! LOL

Good idea
I dont have no buckets to bucket attachment so I live vicariously through you!
Welcome to my world!
I love the end it's like you were trying to find something good to say about the attachment and just finally came to the realization there really wasn't anything. $70 👎 $35 🧐🤔👎 ....😂 Great vid 👍

I bought the heavy bucket and edge for my Kubota L2501. Made hooks and rings for it. Love it so far.

My Kioti bucket seams just fine its reinforced at the blade with a thick cutting edge.
Agree mine is as heavy duty as any of my JD or NH buckets

Might work better if it had another clamp point closer to the outside edge of the bucket.
Flip it around so the locking bolt has the cutting edge to keep it from sliding/pulling off the bucket.

Yes. I should have mentioned that. Iron craft is a solid company with a good product

The “Bucket Bender 5000”
Lol

Yeah not a fan of the bucket. Lol
Did you have it upside down
That is a very dumb attachment. Just wrap the chain around the bucket if you don't have hooks welded on the bucket. Waste of money on that piece.
I recommend heavy hitch attachments
Yep it’s Bow
Hey Hank.. that's has a few issues I see.... The round pressure screw clamp plate doesn't rotate separately from the threaded rod so getting proper pressure seems more difficult than necessary, until it breaks😢. Giving it a full watch.
Right on
You need to get in touch with there customer service and see what they say I have a tiller from them it’s great but customer service was the pits
Yep, that’s gonna leave a mark
Nothing wrong with a MANURE bucket if that's what you need. Otherwise buy a MATERIAL bucket and stick wield hooks on top 👍👍
As the saying goes buy cheap get cheap.
If I can't touch before buying , I don't buy
I think your right the dumbest thing lol top hooks work fine
I'm pretty sure I won't be buying that product. It was made by a two year old boy. Did you stick weld your hooks on?
No it's wore welded
I would pass on this one it would probably work in the flower garden
True
It was press fitted. It looks like it bent.
Hank, Do yourself a favor and put it in the scrap bin , when you lifted the trailer tongue it bowed the bottom of the bucket , junk lol.
Hank like the channnel but buy American it s iur country! Keep up the great work.
Do what I did drill you a hole in bucket and bolt it on dose not move around any more.
I burned a small hole in my bucket and run the bolt all the way through
Titan attachments are poorly made and their reps are a bunch of divas.
Indeed
LOL you obviously don't have enough to do ! why not sharpen the cutting edge of the bucket ?
I would NOT use that mistake... I would weld two grab hooks to the top of the bucket..!!!!
Send it back for a refund Hank
Nope
What a joke.
Waste of money
Did you have it upside down
