I was protesting at the university of Connecticut when our encampment was swept. 25 students were arrested, many of whom were also Jewish. Our protest was entirely peaceful.

By it's disgusting abuse of the memory of the holocaust, and their constant dishonest conflation of antisemitism with anti Zionism, they are actually fuelling genuine antisemitism.
They are creating the perfect conditions to drive antisemitism because people looking on at Israel's crimes are being invited by the Israel government to assign those crimes, not to the Israeli state but to Jews - because apparently the two are equivalent.

In the day and age when speaking truth can cost you your job, career or reputation, Professor Wolff has once again showed integrity for truth, justice and humanity.
If criticism of Israel is antisemitic, criticism of Iran is Islamophobic!
Yet those who use that interpretation of antisemitism almost always cheer for more sanctions on Iran, let alone every word they utter in relation to Iran is negative and/or hostile.
Prof. Wolff, as always a voice of reason, and well thought out analysis. Biden's speech was possibly the most horrifying thing I've heard from a politician in my 44 years. The co-opting of opposition to Antisemitism as a defense for what is being done in Gaza is just awful to see. My understanding of "Never Again", is never again for the Jewish people, and never again for anyone else. All of the hate is just so pointless. No Arab is my enemy, nor is any Jew, or anyone else for that matter. Until we all stand together as one people, for each other, we'll never reach our true potential.

That's exactly right about "private" property! I've been saying something similar: these are students of the school; how could anyone claim that they were "occupying" buildings of their own campus?
As a Marxist, I would say that under this system there is an assumption that anything worth owning, is owned by capitalists, and that the proletariat are only renting things that don't actually belong to them.
Even on private campuses, those very lucrative schools enjoy tax exempt status and donors get huge tax breaks specifically for public access.

They only wish to deprive them of their basic human rights, such as self-rule in their own state and freedom from oppression.” Though the appointment of the sadistic Ben Gvir as minister of National Security is about wishing the Palestinians physical harm.

President Biden's "position" on Gaza reminds me of the old Firesign Theater question,"How can you be in 2 places at once,when you are really nowhere at all"? In my opinion ,his obfuscation on this and other vital issues is going to result in his being returned to private life this fall.I hope he wakes up and takes the stand against funding the carnage in Gaza ,which will get the support of the Dem base again,and more importantly stop the brutal slaughter in Gaza.

It was from inception of abusing the charge of antisemitism to immediately disregard the charge as it was apparent it was a desperate attempt to stop the criticism of what Isreal was doing. Anyone that took it serious did not know the true meaning. Which means education is so important.
