The Merc has a better interior. I owned one, but now have the RS3. Merc more focussed, but Audi is better daily. Hard to split them, but I do miss my AMG. RS3 does sound better and mine has ceramic brakes, so stops on a dime.
No way. Look at all the plastic on the outside now, cost cutting. Inside, horrible steering wheel from Peugeot and they've not changed the cheap plastics in there. Apart from that, it's the same car, but there is one big change, the price. Same spec as my RS3 8Y is now nine grand more than I paid. Nine grand and they've reduced the overall quality. Big improvement my arse.
Living in the past. 8v was too soft and handled shit. Interior looks well dated now. If you had the 8Y like me, you'd soon realise you're in an old heap.
