Well folks definitely can't say that Coldsteel is just a dancin line anymore. They are choppin for sure, and you can see and hear the talent across the whole section. Basses and snares by far have made the greatest improvement, and the quints are still the funkiest in the country. Kudos to the instructors for bein ballsy and tryin some new stuff. I think this Spring is gonna be an interesting one.
SN:Tenors and cymbals aren't as entertaining as in years past, but they're still gettin the job done

I forgot to add that not only are they choppin but they sound clean too!...that's 12 niggas on snare and they're playin together, if you can't respect that then you're missin it

+Cyril Jefferson I'm a DIE-HARD Jukebox fan, but A&T drumline MAN. You guys have the funkiest cadences of ALL the HBCUs. Even your warm up routine is funky. I'm not hating but those chest tenors sound like Brazilian drums, way too much echo/reverb. Cookman's tenors sound similar in my opinion. But nevertheless keep doing what u are doing.

+woolly65 I dig what you're saying. I'm not with CS though, but I am a fan!

You think this is good (and it's one of my favorites), you should see "Nightbeat".

This is a really late comment but @HarvThomp you never disappoint. This is one the best percussion features I've seen. I especially like the 2nd cadence the combination of the groove and complex material was great.

@@HarveyThompsonBYOSMy brother marched SCV he liked it and we both marched in corps here in St Louis. His name is Kelvin Ward marched 1988 SCV the only black dude on snare lol. I inherited my chops from him so he calls me an Honorary SCV drummer because he says I outplay him now lol. I'm interested in coming down there to play with you all next year tho! I love your showmanship mixed with swac and drum corps with pocket funk. That is so dope and brilliant! 213.322.5265

I'm a DIE HARD SU Jukebox, but I must give credit when it's due. A&T has some of the funkiest cadences of all HBCU drumlines.

I think this one was the most snare heavy in a while. strong line, but its was less overall balance than other performances.
