Thanks for taking the time to inform people like me, at 73 & having put 300,000 miles on my 2004 Tundra Double Cab LTD, I'm 19 years behind on the advancement of the technology. I've read all of the manuals that came with my 2023 2.7L, 4 cylinder, Tacoma SR, Access Cab, Utility version. Even though I prefer to "book learn", it's a good learning tool to watch you manipulate the screens as well. You have a new sub. Keep up the good work.

I didn’t know about the driver info part. I thought it was settings for 3 different drivers. Thanks for the tips! I like to keep my main screen on the digital speedometer but I also like to check my tire pressure on every start up. Also, get some of that gold gas!!! Your truck is thirsty! ✌🏼😆

I liked your video. But I need help on setting my instrument cluster back to how it was. I must’ve did something wrong and now when I hit the button to see what the speed limit is on the road that I’m driving it does not come up is it possible for you to help me? Thank you.
The speed gauge and tach gauge only light when the lights are turned on. They are hard to see in the daytime without backlights. The brightness control only works when the front lights are on. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bill

I have a 2023 Tacoma and the sensitivity of the light sensor prevents the backlight of the tachometer and speedometer from completely turning off in sunny weather. How to adjust that?

Very informative, since I now know how to turn off that blasted pre-collision feature. I wish there was a way to turn up the brightness on the radio when the headlights are on during the daytime, because I can't see anything in that circumstance.

I agree.
With the headlights on, go into the settings on the radio and select “display” you’ll see an option for “day mode” switch it to ON and your screen will be bright with the headlights on.

I have a 2021 Tacoma, but the tire pressure icon does not appear, and I cannot know the air pressure. How can it appear, please?
Has anyone came across this (My dad and I were driving 60 and the cluster was in the audio setting and a 1 and 2 was popping up only on throttle but came off when he came off the gas….has anyone had this happen? And what does it mean ?
Is there a way to turn off the shifting display
I can adjust the brightness on the info screen by rotating the trip button, but the only time the tach and speedometer will brighten is with the headlights on. Is there a separate dial to brighten them without having the headlights on ? (like in regular cars).

You can put maintenance reset and it will reset oil
My 2022 SR must not have the Tire Pressure option
I have a 2023 SR and the “Toyota App” displays my tire pressure, but I can’t find any way to display tire pressure on the driver info panel.
My 2020 SR doesn’t seem to have it either
