Meredith’s plot line is ridiculous. Why didn’t she just do the surgery pro bono? She’s still an owner of the hospital. Or she could have paid for the surgery herself, or gotten staff to volunteer their time like she did with the boy who needed ears. Lots of options before insurance fraud.
They need a new story line about the injustice in the system. It’s a huge issue going on in the US at the moment, so they have created a story like this to bring awareness.

Yeah with all the money and resources between herself and friends that I am sure would be willing to help...makes no sense. I think the series downplays that Meridith, Alex and a few other doctors are multi millionaires. Yet they play them off as if they are in the socioeconomic bracket of every day folk.
I get what hey we’re trying to do but seriously she and most of her friends are millioners. Not to mention that the hospital probably has some discretionary funds that they can use for pro bono surgeries.

Dr. Bailey sickens me. First they make her a board member then Chief of surgery; now she fires Alex, Meredith, and Richard. Miranda Bailey should have been fired so many times before. Richard and Meredith are co-owners of the hospital.

Bailey and Catherine are a bunch of hypocrites. They should go to jail as well: (1) Bailey committed insurance fraud when she falsified the surgery began when the patient lost insurance. (2) Bailed operated under the influence of marijuana and didn’t report the fact or put the info into the patients surgical file (3) Bailey hired Minnick who actually stabbed the patient to promote a training environment (4) Katherine didn’t report the fact Harper Avery sexually harassed and raped various women doctors. She was aware of his behavior. (5) Operated on the patient even though she had cancer and was not even at her best. Thus ruining her ovaries (6) Bailey covered up for Dr. Webber when he cut the common bile duct while under the influence of alcohol. (7) Bailey killed 3 patience’s while she had Mersa. (8) Dr Bailey covered up for her husband who operated on a pregnant lady which resulted in the death of the mother, the baby and almost the father. (9) Dr Bailey killed the Rabi when she misdiagnosed multiple times and just gave him penicillin. And the list goes on and on...The other doctors covered for these 2 women and then they turn their backs on the 3 doctors and fired them. #FireBaileyAndCatherine. #Backstabbers #Hypocrites

@@paolas2255 It happened in season 5, I think, during a big ice storm. A couple got into a car wreck. Many of them ended up at the hospital. One of the men needed a surgery, but his insurance was set to expire at midnight. Karev was upset about this and wanted to do all he could to help the couple who needed this surgery... Bailey changed all the clocks in the OR to make sure the guy's insurance paid for the surgery. Technically it was the next day, but she wrote on the paperwork that the surgery took place the previous day...
I think it would be the best thing for me, but I’m terrified to go through all that so instead I just fall asleep every night imagining how I would kill myself while convincing myself that I’m happy.
I'm actually a patient at a psychiatric hospital right now (4 weeks and counting). Some days are good and some really bad but it helps. So if you are having suicidal thoughts please go and get help. It's ok to ask for help even if it's super hard.

I agree with you, however, DeLuca is not and will never be another love of her life. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad that she’s finally happy after Derek, however, Derek was her life, he was everything to her and when she lost him she lost a lot of herself too. I’m crying because I can’t bear to watch Derek die and then carry on after. I’ve said that after Dereks death, I’m rewatching form season 1.
Poor Jackson man, i really felt his pain, Maggie really didn't even try .. The words she said were sooo hurting and overractives .. I hope to see no more JackMaggie in season 16 .. Overall nobody died, which is a fucking miracle, very interesting turn of events! can't wait for S16 now ..

For me, Maggie was calling him that because he didn't know how to take no for an answer, or how he was used to getting whatever he wanted because he grew up with money. I mean, he asked her to go camping because he loves it and he wanted to share the experience with her; but she told him she didn't want to. She told hi. She doesn't/wouldn't like it. But he kept asking until she relented. Then, when she got there, she didn't enjoy the experience. The bugs, the rain, not being able to get to her patient, everything. And she got irritated because she knew she wouldn't like it, yet Jackson insisted she went. Her point was they should be able to enjoy different things and still be together. ...at least, that was my take. I'm so happy there will be a season 16 though! 😁😁😁
For all those people wondering why didn't the doctors do a pro bono surgery, well primarily because she needs many more than just one surgery, the little girl needed full medical cover. Second and most important reason is that the show wanted to highlight the loopholes in the provision of medical care to the needy due to the issues in the current insurance system. This show is, has always been and will always be more than just a jumble of fictitious stories about a bunch of doctors, it is a platform for ideas of social and political , for the better. 2 episodes ago it was violence they talked about, followed by exposing gender issues and now it is bad medical insurance to quote a few.
Ive seen some comments that start “...stopped watching once Derek died...” and then also speaks out against her relationship with DeLuca. If you stopped watching once Derek died then how can you have any opinion on a relationship and it’s progression? Meredith can’t remain Mrs Derek Shepard forever.. she deserves to rediscover love and to be loved. She does not deserve to be frozen in time as a memorial to earlier seasons. Whether she finds that love with DeLuca or someone else, it matters not to me, she just deserves to be happy even if it’s by herself.

Tracy Mirelez I don’t really believe that. I think you can have different soulmates for different parts of your life. It doesn’t always have to be romantic either. I think soulmates are the people who impact your life in major ways, who complete you and you don’t need to have just one person to complete you. Derek was her soulmate for that part of her life, he taught her how to open up to the possibility of love and having a family, something she never thought she would have. I think Christina is a soulmate too, they are best friends and she taught Meredith to go after what she believes in and to work hard and to know that it’s not selfish to put herself first. Deluca is a different kind of soulmate. He is someone who helped her heal and realize that she can have more than one great love, he taught her to value herself and that she is amazing all on her own.

Gina Yeah. There was a moment somewhere where Meredith was told to choose the person that’ll turn back time for you, I immediately thought of DeLuca instead of Link. It’s just the whole chase and falling in love, the “spark” reminded me of earlier seasons. And yeah, he kinda does look like Alex, it’s probably the facial hair.
I loved that last Meredith and Deluca scene, heartbreaking the situation they are in and the I love you... i want to celebrate it (so glad she has found love again) but on the other side - worried for both and their future. Loved the glass hand moment!!

A pretty different Finale from the latters, maybe a little bit like the first seasons; it was calm, anticatastrophic and...really foggy..in all ways! But it sure concluded in a bittersweet way, and the last song was a PERFECT fit to sum up its "atmosphere"! PS Also, bisexual Amelia?? 🤔...poor Link tho..

Mer has never really showed her emotions after derick died. Even how she said i love u to deluca u can see her actions and every thing means it but shes just so scared to let her emotions take over her. She is clearly inlove with deluca.
Judging by the situation they are in, and so on. I can see why it felt alittle down but the fact she said and didnt let fear take over... thats says alot because she dealt with why she ran and what it means. I think she said it because she feels the same and also because they have no idea what will come next as Meredith is confessing to the police. I think it was all bittersweet... I also hope next season we get a romantic epic i love you again.
+sheena william: I could see why you might think that Meredith telling Deluca under those circumstances might seem forced, but I think an argument can be made for her saying it because she really loves him. Meredith is protective of the people who are close to her, and she was not going to let anyone take the fall for her actions. Meredith didn't have to tell Deluca she loved him to justify turning herself in. If it had been Richard or Alex in jail, she would have done the same thing to get them out. At the risk of offending Merder fans, I don't think Derek would have even considered taking the fall for Meredith. Deluca's actions were that of a man who puts the woman that he loves (and her children) first. What woman wouldn't want that guy in their corner? All that said, this scene is bittersweet because Meredith and Deluca may be trading places, and life is going to get harder for both of them. Both of then will probably lose their licenses for a while, and there will be a lot of tension regarding whether Meredith will really be prosecuted and whether jail time will be involved. Either way, I think we know that Deluca will be there to support Meredith no matter what happens (which of course is probably one of the reasons she loves him).
Deluca! Honestly, I can't help but compare him to Derek. If he is still alive and that happened to Meredith, there is no way he'd go to jail for her. All he'll do is be angry at her for doing another stupid thing. This is the man she deserves, someone who would stand by her side through anything, even go to jail so that she wouldn't.
Derek was sensible, Deluca is blind. You don't have to go to jail for your partner, if they mess up this is their thing, Derek also had to think about his children, Deluca doesn't have anyone besides Meredith to care for. Let's be honest Deluca and Merediths relationship is a fairytale/tv-show-kind relationship, I liked Dereks and Merediths relationship for the realness (job struggles, fights, the everyday struggles we all know). I guess it depends what you want to see but Derek and Meredith will always be my favourite

Last Schmico scene is one of the PUREST thing I ever saw on a tv show!! Sweet Levi's caring mother, subtle Glasses metaphor from "My girl", and both cuddling together, with Nico finally crying (he must've been really hurted times ago😢)...sniffing together like kids, scared of losing themselves, tired of everything but finally...Together! 😭😭 Sweetest scene from this season for me; thank you Krista, Jake, Alex and co.!!!
@oceania 2003 I only wished Nico's crying was more evident (and that they would've got some more scenes) but I'm truly glad they were endgame for this season! They're the Purest couple this season, maybe cause they are the youngest
@oceania 2003 Nico is confirmed as a recurring for season 16, so we're getting more Schmico scenes :)...now..I don't want to be a buzzkill, but (for now) Nico isn't really a fan favourite (Krista likes him tho) because his character is underdeveloped and some people don't like Alex Landi acting (the poor guy didn't have much screentime tho...i bet he can be a great character!) so I fear he could just be like Levi's "Erica hahn", helping him discovering his sexuality, and then going away (to San Francisco maybe), but honestly, for now I can't see anyone else with Levi, and if they'll give both more screentime they could make one of the gretest gay couple and characters, cause they're really unique in the Tv shows world as a couple, so I hope their relationship will get a bigger focus next season and that they BOTH stay in Seattle!!

This show is nothing compared to the first few seasons. It's the same old crap being recycled over and over haha! I haven't actually watched an episode since Season 13 and I can still follow because nothing's changed. Some people have left and new ones come in, but the storyline hasn't moved an inch.
But Owen needs to stop jumping in at the last second. He keeps confessing his love and then taking it back. It's getting annoying. I know he's the father of the baby, but he can just co-parent Alison without being with Teddy. Teddy and Tom are great for each other, and it breaks my heart to see Tom, happily setting up the nursery while Teddy and Owen are at the hospital together.
I really feel sorry for Tom. But I see why Owen is the way he is. I get it. He's been though some bad stuff without therapy starting loosing his dad. Things went downhill from there. Now that he has found his footing I really think teddy is a better match. But we will we see next season.
Heartbreaking!! Meredith will come out of this. For her kids! and for Deluca. The very two important scenes... and the i love you's to - that is a big deal but oh so bittersweet due to the circumstances.
Alright my opinion here I do think that Amelia and link make a great couple, and I see potential in them. I do however feel they did kind of jump into that relationship relatively quickly. Watching this scene I can understand why amelia needs time to work on herself which I think will prove beneficial in the long run for her and link. Additionally, I admire the scene where Levi just flat out admits that Nico is his boyfriend. No big gathering to come out, just stating it right then and there.

Just from this scene between meredith and deluca, just to shows that meredith is ready to deal with the consequences of her actions and that she can love again. In the earlier greys she wouldn't. It will be interesting to see what happens next season.

Teddy and owen always always had to end up together. Right from the season where they were introduced together we all knew. And she confessed her feelings for owen and im glad at the end owen chosed her. And he meant it with all his heart. There couldnt have been any other perfect timing. You can see they clearly have always been inlove with each other. Meredith finally falls inlove for the first time after derick and im so happy. Link and amelia are so good together and i know they gono make it work. I feel sorry for korasic. And joe and alex🥰🥰. As for the doctors gettimg fired😂😂im not bothered cuz they are gono be back for season 16. But maggie and jackson im scared. Something is up

Definitely! Many fans (expecially original ones) don't like Schmico cause their relationship wasn't exolored much outside their sexual/romantic attraction...appearing lame. But seein them like two kids sniffing together...was a beautiful scene and (maybe) introduction to a more developed relationship next season Their strong point: softness

I read some comments on FB and I was totally surprised and dumbfounded. I’ve been watching this problem since the very first episode and all its re-runs. I feel part of the GREYS ANATOMY FAMILY! I’ve cried, I’ve laughed, I’ve oohed and awwwed. There’s no others series to compare the story line and talent this one has had throughout all these years. The finales have always been amazing and this one was no different. FINALLY, after so many years of hinting around, Hunt and Altman get their chance at love.... LET THEM ENJOY THEIR LASTING LOVE. What’s going to happen to Korev, Webber, Meredith? My question is… Aren’t they still on the board? And aren’t they still part owner of the hospital? And of course the big cliffhanger… Where is Jackson? What happened to him? So those of you who say there’s no cliffhanger, go back and look at this episode again. Remember that Lucas still in jail and Meredith is turning her self in. Can’t wait for the next season.!!!!!!
You know every time someone says, hey I need some time to think about myself and work on getting myself back to where I'm comfortable and that they can't get in a relationship, but you are still there and it could work eventually, it usually means come next season or next episode is just an intense will they won't they sexual tension that just builds up for only like an episode. Because it wouldn't have been just one surgery, the girl had cancer; so she was gonna need constant treatment, like chemo. Thats what I think, had the tumor come out benign, then it would've been just one surgery and then it could have been probono.

Meredith’s plot line is ridiculous. Why didn’t she just do the surgery pro bono? She’s still an owner of the hospital. Or she could have paid for the surgery herself, or gotten staff to volunteer their time like she did with the boy who needed ears. Lots of options before insurance fraud.
They need a new story line about the injustice in the system. It’s a huge issue going on in the US at the moment, so they have created a story like this to bring awareness.

I think the series downplays that Meridith, Alex and a few other doctors are multi millionaires. Yet they play them off as if they are in the socioeconomic bracket of every day folk.

Bailey and Catherine are a bunch of hypocrites. They should go to jail as well:
(1) Bailey committed insurance fraud when she falsified the surgery began when the patient lost insurance.
(2) Bailed operated under the influence of marijuana and didn’t report the fact or put the info into the patients surgical file
(3) Bailey hired Minnick who actually stabbed the patient to promote a training environment
(4) Katherine didn’t report the fact Harper Avery sexually harassed and raped various women doctors. She was aware of his behavior.
(5) Operated on the patient even though she had cancer and was not even at her best. Thus ruining her ovaries
(6) Bailey covered up for Dr. Webber when he cut the common bile duct while under the influence of alcohol.
(7) Bailey killed 3 patience’s while she had Mersa.
(8) Dr Bailey covered up for her husband who operated on a pregnant lady which resulted in the death of the mother, the baby and almost the father.
(9) Dr Bailey killed the Rabi when she misdiagnosed multiple times and just gave him penicillin.
And the list goes on and on...The other doctors covered for these 2 women and then they turn their backs on the 3 doctors and fired them. #FireBaileyAndCatherine. #Backstabbers

@@paolas2255 It happened in season 5, I think, during a big ice storm. A couple got into a car wreck. Many of them ended up at the hospital. One of the men needed a surgery, but his insurance was set to expire at midnight. Karev was upset about this and wanted to do all he could to help the couple who needed this surgery... Bailey changed all the clocks in the OR to make sure the guy's insurance paid for the surgery. Technically it was the next day, but she wrote on the paperwork that the surgery took place the previous day...
Bailey was forced to make this decision cause the hospital was being investigated and they found out.

I'm actually a patient at a psychiatric hospital right now (4 weeks and counting). Some days are good and some really bad but it helps. So if you are having suicidal thoughts please go and get help. It's ok to ask for help even if it's super hard.

I agree with you, however, DeLuca is not and will never be another love of her life. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad that she’s finally happy after Derek, however, Derek was her life, he was everything to her and when she lost him she lost a lot of herself too. I’m crying because I can’t bear to watch Derek die and then carry on after. I’ve said that after Dereks death, I’m rewatching form season 1.

For me, Maggie was calling him that because he didn't know how to take no for an answer, or how he was used to getting whatever he wanted because he grew up with money. I mean, he asked her to go camping because he loves it and he wanted to share the experience with her; but she told him she didn't want to. She told hi. She doesn't/wouldn't like it. But he kept asking until she relented. Then, when she got there, she didn't enjoy the experience. The bugs, the rain, not being able to get to her patient, everything. And she got irritated because she knew she wouldn't like it, yet Jackson insisted she went. Her point was they should be able to enjoy different things and still be together. ...at least, that was my take.

For all those people wondering why didn't the doctors do a pro bono surgery, well primarily because she needs many more than just one surgery, the little girl needed full medical cover. Second and most important reason is that the show wanted to highlight the loopholes in the provision of medical care to the needy due to the issues in the current insurance system.
This show is, has always been and will always be more than just a jumble of fictitious stories about a bunch of doctors, it is a platform for ideas of social and political , for the better. 2 episodes ago it was violence they talked about, followed by exposing gender issues and now it is bad medical insurance to quote a few.

Tracy Mirelez I don’t really believe that. I think you can have different soulmates for different parts of your life. It doesn’t always have to be romantic either. I think soulmates are the people who impact your life in major ways, who complete you and you don’t need to have just one person to complete you. Derek was her soulmate for that part of her life, he taught her how to open up to the possibility of love and having a family, something she never thought she would have. I think Christina is a soulmate too, they are best friends and she taught Meredith to go after what she believes in and to work hard and to know that it’s not selfish to put herself first. Deluca is a different kind of soulmate. He is someone who helped her heal and realize that she can have more than one great love, he taught her to value herself and that she is amazing all on her own.
This entire season pulled at every emotion. I have cried waaaaay too much. Now I'm crying at work.

A pretty different Finale from the latters, maybe a little bit like the first seasons; it was calm, anticatastrophic and...really foggy..in all ways! But it sure concluded in a bittersweet way, and the last song was a PERFECT fit to sum up its "atmosphere"!

Judging by the situation they are in, and so on. I can see why it felt alittle down but the fact she said and didnt let fear take over... thats says alot because she dealt with why she ran and what it means. I think she said it because she feels the same and also because they have no idea what will come next as Meredith is confessing to the police. I think it was all bittersweet... I also hope next season we get a romantic epic i love you again.

+sheena william: I could see why you might think that Meredith telling Deluca under those circumstances might seem forced, but I think an argument can be made for her saying it because she really loves him. Meredith is protective of the people who are close to her, and she was not going to let anyone take the fall for her actions. Meredith didn't have to tell Deluca she loved him to justify turning herself in. If it had been Richard or Alex in jail, she would have done the same thing to get them out. At the risk of offending Merder fans, I don't think Derek would have even considered taking the fall for Meredith. Deluca's actions were that of a man who puts the woman that he loves (and her children) first. What woman wouldn't want that guy in their corner?
All that said, this scene is bittersweet because Meredith and Deluca may be trading places, and life is going to get harder for both of them. Both of then will probably lose their licenses for a while, and there will be a lot of tension regarding whether Meredith will really be prosecuted and whether jail time will be involved. Either way, I think we know that Deluca will be there to support Meredith no matter what happens (which of course is probably one of the reasons she loves him).

Deluca! Honestly, I can't help but compare him to Derek. If he is still alive and that happened to Meredith, there is no way he'd go to jail for her. All he'll do is be angry at her for doing another stupid thing. This is the man she deserves, someone who would stand by her side through anything, even go to jail so that she wouldn't.
Derek was sensible, Deluca is blind. You don't have to go to jail for your partner, if they mess up this is their thing, Derek also had to think about his children, Deluca doesn't have anyone besides Meredith to care for. Let's be honest Deluca and Merediths relationship is a fairytale/tv-show-kind relationship, I liked Dereks and Merediths relationship for the realness (job struggles, fights, the everyday struggles we all know). I guess it depends what you want to see but Derek and Meredith will always be my favourite

@oceania 2003 Nico is confirmed as a recurring for season 16, so we're getting more Schmico scenes :)...now..I don't want to be a buzzkill, but (for now) Nico isn't really a fan favourite (Krista likes him tho) because his character is underdeveloped and some people don't like Alex Landi acting (the poor guy didn't have much screentime tho...i bet he can be a great character!) so I fear he could just be like Levi's "Erica hahn", helping him discovering his sexuality, and then going away (to San Francisco maybe), but honestly, for now I can't see anyone else with Levi, and if they'll give both more screentime they could make one of the gretest gay couple and characters, cause they're really unique in the Tv shows world as a couple, so I hope their relationship will get a bigger focus next season and that they BOTH stay in Seattle!!

This show is nothing compared to the first few seasons. It's the same old crap being recycled over and over haha! I haven't actually watched an episode since Season 13 and I can still follow because nothing's changed. Some people have left and new ones come in, but the storyline hasn't moved an inch.

But Owen needs to stop jumping in at the last second. He keeps confessing his love and then taking it back. It's getting annoying. I know he's the father of the baby, but he can just co-parent Alison without being with Teddy. Teddy and Tom are great for each other, and it breaks my heart to see Tom, happily setting up the nursery while Teddy and Owen are at the hospital together.
I really feel sorry for Tom. But I see why Owen is the way he is. I get it. He's been though some bad stuff without therapy starting loosing his dad. Things went downhill from there. Now that he has found his footing I really think teddy is a better match. But we will we see next season.

I do think that Amelia and link make a great couple, and I see potential in them. I do however feel they did kind of jump into that relationship relatively quickly.
Watching this scene I can understand why amelia needs time to work on herself which I think will prove beneficial in the long run for her and link.
Additionally, I admire the scene where Levi just flat out admits that Nico is his boyfriend. No big gathering to come out, just stating it right then and there.

Just from this scene between meredith and deluca, just to shows that meredith is ready to deal with the consequences of her actions and that she can love again. In the earlier greys she wouldn't. It will be interesting to see what happens next season.

Teddy and owen always always had to end up together. Right from the season where they were introduced together we all knew. And she confessed her feelings for owen and im glad at the end owen chosed her. And he meant it with all his heart. There couldnt have been any other perfect timing. You can see they clearly have always been inlove with each other. Meredith finally falls inlove for the first time after derick and im so happy. Link and amelia are so good together and i know they gono make it work. I feel sorry for korasic. And joe and alex🥰🥰. As for the doctors gettimg fired😂😂im not bothered cuz they are gono be back for season 16. But maggie and jackson im scared. Something is up

I read some comments on FB and I was totally surprised and dumbfounded. I’ve been watching this problem since the very first episode and all its re-runs. I feel part of the GREYS ANATOMY FAMILY! I’ve cried, I’ve laughed, I’ve oohed and awwwed. There’s no others series to compare the story line and talent this one has had throughout all these years. The finales have always been amazing and this one was no different. FINALLY, after so many years of hinting around, Hunt and Altman get their chance at love.... LET THEM ENJOY THEIR LASTING LOVE. What’s going to happen to Korev, Webber, Meredith? My question is… Aren’t they still on the board? And aren’t they still part owner of the hospital? And of course the big cliffhanger… Where is Jackson? What happened to him? So those of you who say there’s no cliffhanger, go back and look at this episode again. Remember that Lucas still in jail and Meredith is turning her self in. Can’t wait for the next season.!!!!!!
You know every time someone says, hey I need some time to think about myself and work on getting myself back to where I'm comfortable and that they can't get in a relationship, but you are still there and it could work eventually, it usually means come next season or next episode is just an intense will they won't they sexual tension that just builds up for only like an episode. Consider it the convenience of writing... Everyone is hypocrites and and everyone is poor, when it suites the story. Bailey is on her high horse, when she should be in prison too... She gave a child a deactivated HIV virus to save his life, against the parent's will. If it wasn't for Stephanie taking the fall and claiming ignorance, Bailey would be in prison. Not to mention in season 1 or 2, Bailey changing the clocks in the OR to help Karev commit insurance fraud to help the patient get a surgery that their insurance wouldn't pay for...
Because it wouldn't have been just one surgery, the girl had cancer; so she was gonna need constant treatment, like chemo.
Thats what I think, had the tumor come out benign, then it would've been just one surgery and then it could have been probono.
They were creating a new storyline to show the injustice of insurance coverage and immigration issues in the US. It’s setting up all next season. They are making Meredith a martyr.
