This is a vintage commercial for Elusive fragrance by Avon. The fragrance was first launched in 1969. It featured smokey, floral, warm spicy, and woodsy accords. My mom loved Avon I remember she always love to stop by the boutique at the local mall to buy her perfumes and creams I miss her a lot sometimes I wish I could go back in time and live all those days again.

Really? Wow. She's beautiful. Now that you mention, there does seem to be some resemblance, but somehow I don't believe it's Glenn. I don't know...maybe you're right. I will try to find out.
I just looked her up on Wikipedia. I don't think that's Glenn. The article makes no mention of Glenn ever doing any modeling. It says her acting career officially began at the age of 27 in 1974. I've looked up pictures of Glenn when she was much younger, and her nose is longer than this model's nose. The model has softer features, I think. Sorry, but I don't think it's her--though there does seem to be a little resemblance. I can see how you might think that it's her. There is something about the eyes that are like Glenn's.

@@AndrewCarterBaker I don't think it's Glenn, either. You're right about the girl, the song, and the commercial. The song has that folksy vibe to it, and the commercial is so well-done. It's beautiful. Avon made many beautiful commercials back in the day.

Glenn close not feminine looking

I think Avon continued to make Elusive for a few years. I know I've seen vintage decanters with Elusive fragrance on Ebay from the 1980s and I think the 90s, too. I think it smells nice, but the bottle I have is probably from 1969 or 1970. It's the lavender one with the paisley cap - which I love. But I wouldn't wear this because even thought it smells OK, I can tell that the fragrance has withered over time. Its like old spices long past their expiration date...that's the best way I can think of to describe it.
The packaging and the commercial for Elusive were beautiful. This is probably Avon's best commercial in my opinion.
Sadly, I've never smelled Emprise or Imperial Garden. I have heard that Emprise is nice. I have heard that it smells kind of like Charlie. Both are from the same era.
I forgot to say this earlier, but Elusive kind of reminds of Passion by Elizabeth Taylor, but without the leather note. They both have incense notes. Maybe that's why. They both smell smokey. I think I like Elusive better, though, there's no way to really tell when comparing a very old bottle of fragrance to a much newer one.
