Wow, a flashlight that size that runs on 4xAAA instead of one 21700 was designed for one purpose, to sell more AAA batteries.

This light should have used C or AA batteries. AAA batteries have too little capacity for a good runtime.
Or rechargable Li-Ion batteries, but I don't think Duracell is selling these.

Why not just buy rechargeable batteries for the torch instead then? That’s what I do especially since the 18650 batteries are chineseium junk, recharge 4 or 5 times and they are dead.

Runs for 2 hours on 3 AAA alkaline batteries. Thats not bad for a very bright torch.

Is there a good batter to use with these ? It eats my duracell batteries up. The lithium batteries sell $17 for a 4 pack at CVS. That is kinda more than the flashlight. Other than it eating batteries I love the flashlight

Hi @artnyoga yoganart, I use the those cheaper alternatives rechargeable batteries whenever available. Rechargeable batteries can be a bit more expensive than their AA battery counterparts. However, this is easily offset since single-use batteries will be incrementally more costly in the long run. Hope this helps. Please like and subscribe. Stay safe my friend.

This is the worst "how to" video I've ever seen and still didn't tell me how to make it light when the batterys are fine but it won't light!
