Bama is going to get so close to a title this year that everybody will say 'lucky - sabans recruits...blah blah' - and then next year when they do the same thing they are going to say 'Lets see next year - thats when Deboers recruits will really be covering all of the field and we'll see' - and when they do the same the next year they'll say 'Deboers pretty good, kids obviously want to play because of the big A in the school name and what it means' Then the year after that they'll say 'Deboer is good but basically my grandmother could win at alabama.' and whenever alabama loses by so much as one point they'll say 'see... told you - its over with for bama'. You're welcome - none of you actually have to watch ESPN for the next 6 years.
The Bama roster is better than Cole's giving them credit for. The WR room is far more talented then he realizes. Ryan Williams is going to be special. Caleb Odom is going to be special. Germie is also going to be very good. Law and Prentice have very high upside. And they should absolutely have a very impressive running game, which only helps the passing game. And don't look past what they have at TE. The O line is going to be one of the best in the SEC. If Milroe takes a step forward, this offense will be a big problem for everyone they play. I do worry a little about the youth in the secondary, but lots of 5 star talent back there as well. This is a very good Bama team that is embracing how the media is downplaying them. They're on a mission. LANK!
I hated that 2000 Iron Bowl. I was in the MDB and in halftime show we weren't allowed to wear ponchos PLUS we didn't move other than on to the field and off at the end of the show. That was the day I learned joints can freeze.

DeBoer’s staff this year is better than what Saban assembled in his last year. NS himself stated it had become difficult to recruit elite guys because of his age. It was time for NS to move on before he had an off year by his standards.
