After watching and enjoying several if your reactions to the "oldies". I grew up in the 70s, was in my twenties in the 80s. Prince has my whole heart but I love 60s, 70s, 80s and some early 90s. I'll never forgot when they started playing 80s music on our local "oldies" radio station!! What shock!!😅 I do have a question for you. Do you share this music with you children and friends and family who need to be "enlightened' as you have been? Much love to you. You are a beautiful young woman.
Smokey Robinson was the founder & front man of the Motown vocal group the Miracles from the 50's-70's. They had lots of great hits including "Tracks Of My Tears", "You've Really Got A Hold On Me", "Shop Around", "Mickey's Monkey", "I Second That Emotion", "Baby Baby Don't Cry", "The Tears of a Clown", "Going To A Go-Go" etc. He wrote many hit songs for other Motown artists such as Mary Wells, The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Marvelettes, Marvin Gaye & others.
In other words, he's a hall of fame, song writer as well As musical artist who's actually still performing to this day. Think he's 81. Maybe that's off the top of my head
You have no dam idea how happy I am you reacting to oldies!!! Like real blacc oldies!!! Like shit you heard when you were young on Sunday in the morning and knew you had to clean the whole house 😂😂😂 💯
As I have read in some of your comments, your AR squad wants so early Smokey. Me too! I have seen some great suggestions. I am going to leave two I haven’t seen yet; “Baby Come Close” & “Come Spy With Me”.
You need to watch Smokey sing with Daryl Hall on his program Daryl’s House. Incredible collaboration, you will love seeing all the other artists Daryl also sings with at his studio.
it was 1979 my first date cruising to the beach in san pedro ca in a 77 park Avenue buick 2 tone green with true spoke wheels looking at the moon oh what a night.
Great song - one of my many "most favorite" songs - Huey Lewis and Gweneth Paltrow covered this back in year 2000...and its a great great cover...check it out
On another note, have you ever heard of Roger Troutman? Know as simply Roger & Zapp. Well he has a song you will love! “I wanna be your man”. If you choose to react to it, get the official video.
"Let Me Be The Clock", "Quiet Storm" are two more offerings from Smokie that are worthy of your attention. I guarantee you'll find no disappointment.

i love it when you stop the song and act like you are writing notes down. give that pencil back to your kids, they need for class :)
