I was 18 when skyrim was relased. I will be... 31 Years old when this game drops, if this is true. Literally losing interest in the series as a whole, don't know if thats a product of age or what.
It's absurd Half Life 3 was historic in its delay and it took 12 years between the last game and the announcement of Alyx. ESVI will be that plus 2 years at the bare minimum.
@Leonard M "16 times the detail." That game is hideous. It has graphics from 2010 and the animations are stiff and awkward, especially with the humans. They NEED to drop the 'Creation Engine' and create a new one. Bethesda's graphics are always years behind their competition's, except for id software's games.
If they don’t have the last Dragonborn in the game directly, what would be a cool Easter egg is if you went to certain parts of the edge of the map and could hear “Fos-ro-Dah!” echo through the mountains
That would be really cool and funny if you could like peak over the mountains and see a dragon dragon fall down in the distance or see a massive flame shoot into the sky
Yeah, usually though the main character either disappears or dies later on. The Eternal Champion and The Agent from TES 1 & 2 are dead; the Nerevarine from Morrowind left on an expedition to Akavir and was never heard from again; and then Hero of Kvatch left to take up the mantle of Sheogorath
@@kiwifruitbird5752 shit I always forget about the sheogorath stuff, idk dude, I really wanna see the dragonborn in the flesh somehow, I know that would mean that bethestawould have to establish a canon for the dragonborn, but I'm ok with that (also there's no way he'll be a kahjit, argonian, orc, dark brotherhood member or thieves guild member, why? Dont forget that they told an old lady to hang on and still living so she can play es6 and it is long 4 years till 2024 for an old woman that makes me question the 2024 release date , any way i wish you long life skyrim grandma and earlier release for es6
All they really need are her voice files, as to whether they’ll actually mocap her full face onto a character remains to be seen. I hope she can live to see it, same for my grandma 👍🏾 sadly we can’t force them to rush the game out for an old lady’s sake, there’s a long process that goes into making GOOD games. Otherwise we’ll have the TES equivalent of Fallout 76, and the internet will burn... lol
I saw somewhere they're re-releasing Skyrim for the XSX and PS5. I still am having trouble believing it. How many fucking releases of the same game do we need?
I had just turned 11 almost a full month before skyrims release. I was a kid then, when the first main series tes game releases since my introduction to the series I'll have been an adult for a few years.
In order to get modded tes5 to run smooth, you need to disable most ENB's even on higher end systems. Also, the more script-heavy mods you're running, the more laggy it becomes, and only recently a mod was released where dodge could be mapped to crouch to reduce input delay due to most animation and similar mods having to use java to implement such features. But even then, some of the best mods out there are suuuper script heavy and cause a noticeable amount of input delay. Not to mention how unstable things become with very large load orders. If you want a stable build, you have to spend half your time modding to get there, and then of course, you'll likely run into some ctd that you'll have to troubleshoot. It's a lot of work, and most players aren't willing to put in that kind of effort to play a game. That being said, I have a pretty large load order that's stable right now and that takes a lot of doing. But I'll gladly switch over to TES6, given modding utilities and other things that keep the community alive are still in place.
@@MichaelMagill1990 So what you're saying is, Bethesda released a half-finished, buggy game that, despite all these issues, you're willing to mod to make it playable and...you'll happily pay them to do it all over again in a few years? When are we gonna learn to start voting with our wallets??
I'd take Morrowind over what's going on the last few games. It's not bad when you first play, but then you go back and realize how robotic it all is. Give me a quick greeting, one voice per gender and race, and make the rest text. It's far more immersive then the clunky shit they've had the last couple games. I will be super pissed if I get a lame voice actor for my character likening fallout 4.
11:30 "some of the NPCs where walking, however that's something they said they where going to be fixing and addressing" Thank god I don't want my NPCs walking😅
Thats a lot of effort for literally zero pay off, and it still doesnt explain the NDA. Also your theory doesn't explain his insight into starfall and the tech from it being used in the new tes game.
Sometimes having more people work on a single project does not always result in a quicker product. Also, at this time...their Austin team is strictly dedicated to supporting FO76.
Not how it works and not if they plan to continue competing. Ubisoft and rockstar routinely have over a thousand people building their games and CDPR had over 1500 and potentially over 2000 people working on TW3. Most of Bethesda's games were made by a team of approximately a hundred people. Really though, In bethesda's case these extra teams aren't nearly as exciting as you might think. They seem to specialize in things like online and mobile game development, it's very unlikely they will get or are capable of a fully fledged new Bethesda game on their own. The best case scenario is that Bethesda uses all of these new resources into a single good game and not because they plan on including digusting monetization.
@@kooken58 It results in a larger product as seen in all of the recent 'giant' open world games. All produced by thousand man+ teams. To make giant detailed landscapes it requires a tonne of manpower, especially if those landscapes are going to be filled with unique assets, populated with NPCs and if you're going to have hundreds of quests.

@@Churdington I appreciate that multiplayer games have their good points but a rich and interactive story is usually not one of them. I play MMORPGs for the streamline, linear story and the company. and I play a fallout or elderscrolls to be immersed into the world building and interacting with the world through my own character. ESO was not fun for me because I was expecting a game where I could take my time and delve into lore expansion but it did not match with the fast paced story of a multiplayer and it was like other MMORPGS but worse. Sometimes it's nice to get lost in doing my own thing my own way and that is why I buy these games. If I wanted to play a multiplayer fantasy based game there are a million other games that I could get that would do it better. Fallout and Elderscrolls are not meant to be multiplayer. that is not the corner of the market they have carved out. I will be seriously disappointed if they learnt nothing from ESO and Fallout 76 and insist on becoming another PUBG like clone.
Caitlyn Ryder bro have you ever played an online game? PUBG is a battle royal, adding multiplayer to a RPG wont MAKE it a battle Royale. Adding 4 player coop won’t change much. Also, I’m sorry I have friends and want to play with them, just coz your lonely doesn’t mean you need to ruin the game for the rest of us.
@@obrgrs2547 play PUBG then. Elder Scrolls has always been single player and the last couple of games Bethesda has released have all flopped in part because of how shitty it is with multi player being crowbared into the game. I don't go around insisting that Fortnite be made into a third person strategy game. There are games that are made to be multi player and games that aren't. This is one of them that isn't meant to be multi player.
Blorgus_ I haven't heard anything about him not being the composer for tes6, all i know is he wasn't the composer for the music in the teaser trailer. I feel like we honestly won't see this for a while. It says in one of the articles a lot of things are still in their conceptual stage, so I'd buckle up and just enjoy Cyberpunk 🤣
Maybe it won't look revolutionary or anything crazy but this is gonna release 4 years from now, I sincerely believe Bethesda isn't stupid enough to not at least overhaul their engine to keep up with other modern games. Whether it ends up looking good for the time or not, it's definitely going to look a lot different from Skyrim. As for the actual roleplaying and gameplay, well, I wouldn't be surprised if it stayed on the same level of Skyrim.
@@sirbirbton it'll be like The Last Guardian, where they started development in 2007 on the PS3, but ended up taking all the way til 2016 because they had to move it to PS4
Nah the footage from their photogrammatry tech looks incredible already. Plus itll far enough into the new consoles life cycle they will be taking advantage of 8 core CPUs with high IPC
Who cares about graphics in 2020 honestly? Every game looks good enough already. Writing, quest design and structure as well as AI are far more important aspects that also cannot be modded as easily, if they will allow mods that is.
I just hope they keep pushing the immersion. I want cosy houses and hearing the rain on the roof as a storm rages outside and I sit in front of the fireplace!
13 or 14 years after they released Skyrim... my expectations for this game are going to be so incomprehensibly high, I can already guarantee now that the wait won't be worth it. And that kind of sucks, honestly, because TES is my favorite series.
I feel you, definitely. The longer they wait though the higher the expectation. So, at this point its probably almost impossible to meet the expectation tbh.
Russell G Agreed. I’m really hoping they’ve learned from the fallout 76 cockup. Elder Scrolls 6 could really be something if done well. Imagine an elder scrolls game with a modified version of Dishonored 2’s combat, and a new vegas level story. If done poorly. Imagine all the bugs, and micro-transactions. of Fallout 76 mixed with oblivion random dialogue.
I can’t wait to see how good the horseback riding mechanics are, after red dead redemption 2 the bar for horses in video games at set pretty high now. 5:00 if this is true, I can’t wait to be a cavalry rider
Eh, they're more agile in Assassin's creed Odyssey and many other games and they're more realistic and 'clunky' like real horses in other games still. In Bannerlord you can move diagonally and sideways with Horses, so they're better there as well. RDR2's horses look nice though I guess.
@@7dayspking RDR2 still has the best horses by far. Really good control feel with just the right weight and very precise movement (including sideways and diagonal), animations are best in class by miles. I played RDR2 and Odyssey almost back to back and was really surprised how far Assassin's Creed has been left behind considering AC1 absolutely set the bar when it came out. Odyssey horses are weightless and floaty with lower quality models and animations that look like they date back to AC1 in 2007 (great for 2007, less so for 2018). Bannerlord has probably the best horses I've seen outside RDR2, controls and animations are very good, models look great (especially with armor), only point they really fall short is everything runs on preset animations instead of a physics engine so impacts lack weight. Seriously, imagine cav charges with RDR2 horses, impacts knocking people down, horses falling at speed and sliding along the ground to smash through shieldwalls...
There are a lot of games mentioned in this thread I haven't gotten to play yet, but from my personal experience, rdr1 had my favorite horses I've ever rode in a game. They just felt right. My only issue was it could be a pain to aim my gun and ride a horse at the same time. One honorable mention of a mechanic I liked was something tloz breath of the wild did, which was allow you to move in any direction with your horse (albeit a little slowly) without having to turn your whole horse around. It was great for getting your horse unstuck from places and readjusting your horses position.
I can imagine this coming out and Bethesda just be like: nope, 6 was cancelled, but we have been working very hard to realease..... SKYRIM ON THE FRIDGE and the crowd goes wild.
And meanwhile, go play on some scrap project in space, or in a post apocalyptic setting that many other studios have mastered well before we shat in the pot and thought it was a good marketing idea.
I'll tell you what, I would take 1/2 the graphics quality of original skyrim if they added in dynamic economies in bigger cities and dynamic factions. Honestly, I would just like to set a cleared map location as "base" and it would switch the containers to permanent and followers could be told to go to it on their own.
With regard to his comments on the civil war quest line, I remember being lead by Ulfric Stormcloak into battle at Solitude with only like six other soldiers haha
I don't even blame bethesda for that technical limitation, It's the fact that given said limitation they decided to make quests like that in the first place lol... If they wanted to do something similar they could've just had you assigned to an elite squad that infiltrates the city for example, and after you complete what ever objective the game switches from night to day and everything is destroyed after a great battle having taken place... Instead they actually went with the dramatic music assault with such few NPCs lol...

I was 9 when Skyrim came out, I’ll be reaching my mid 20’s when Es6 comes out. All because Bethesda decided to forget about their biggest franchise for some reason.
@@cubancucumber they didn't forget, Skyrim was just that successful. Why move onto the next entry when you can have 10+ years of re-releases to line the coffers? That game was designed to run on a PS3 and Xbox 360 and it's only gotten easier to run in the 10 years since - the fact it came out on the switch is evidence of that. Plus, they released FO4 in that time as well, it wasn't just 76 and mobile games. If you want a new TES experience, start downloading mods or play ESO.
“10 times the size of skyrim” *”16 times the detail”* Are we seeing a pattern here? Don’t get too hyped people, it might be another disappointment like another certain game that Bethesda released.
That's exactly what I thought of as well. Also when he said that the battles might be larger because of better technology, I thought of how fallout 4 bugs were copy pasted into 76
Let’s hope bethesda delivers. Keep in mind that there’s a ton of pressure on them atm. Skyrim is one of the most successful games EVER, and they would hate to mess that up. And I’m sure they’ve learnt from their mistakes in Fallout 76. If the release date of 2024 is correct, it shows that they’re taking it seriously and spending a lot of time creating a good experience. I’m sure Bethesda will deliver.
Sadly you're probably right. And it will continue the slow decline of Bethesda into just another EA. Such a shame for a company that fought so hard to include the construction set in Morrowind
I'm okay with Bethesda taking their time. When we take a look at Skyrim for instance we all complained about the bugs. My one hope is that they learn from previous installments in regards to feedback, criticism, and the like. This may seem like I am asking for a lot but, I'm happy it is taking forever and cannot wait for the release. Positivity is always a good thing and right now I think Bethesda needs it.
I just really hope they take their time and actually finish the game instead of being made to push for the release date like Skyrim was for 11.11.11 but full of bugs and devs being unable to actually finished what they planned (ie. the civil war questline).
As hopeful as I am about this game I can't imagine I will wind up playing this game. If it's coming out 2024 or later Bethesda is basically cutting out a lot of the generation who played Oblivion and Skyrim. They'll be marketing to a whole new group of people and video game RUclipsrs.
@@bowiesensei5574 Same, I'll be 28 in 2024. I don't even think I'll be playing video games then. I'm basically done with them now. Guess I'll just watch youtube videos about it when I'm trying to fall asleep so I at least know the story.
I am really excited of the possibility of the elder scrolls 6 leak being true. Because the last leak made Sony release the last of us 2 in June. bethesda needs more good news.
It "made" Sony release it in June? LOL as if they where like: Dev 1 - Ya know we got this LoU 2 game ready, when do you think we should release it? Dev 2 - Hmm, well the people don't know it's ready so we can just hang on to a it for a couple more years. Dev 1 - Yeah your right, we could just keep it in the vault until the PS4 is an archaic unplayed system. That is the logical thing to do Dev 3 - Oh no guys some just leaked some footage! Dev 2 - Well s***. I guess we have no choice but to release it now in June now..... Damn those leakers!!!
One thing I would like to see is being able to either invest into towns, or build up a destroyed hold. Like how Helgon was destroyed, basically become a jarl and have your own hold.
11:00 if this story actually happens, this is gonna be like the first time I played Skyrim, where the quests are actually entertaining instead of like fallout 4 where it’s just a job.
If the leaks are true, I hope that Orsinium is in Hammerfell just like Skyrim said it was. Cuz at some point, they built Orsinium at the border of Hammerfell and Skyrim sometime after the destruction of Orsinium in the High Rock area. And as for this leak in of itself. I'm convinced it's not really true. I mean, I have seen someone leak GTA Online DLC that was very detailed and was even able to spawn in the assets, and he ended up being 100% right. So this is possible too. But I can't help but feel it's not genuine. I guess we'll see.
I've long said that a dlc questline focussed on the rebuilding of orsinium, or even a base game questline, would be awesome. Give the orcs their own province bethesda!

"16 times the detail." That game is hideous. It has graphics from 2010 and the animations are stiff and awkward, especially with the humans. They NEED to drop the 'Creation Engine' and create a new one. Bethesda's graphics are always years behind their competition's, except for id software's games.
76's graphical fidelity isn't even that great compared to modern games.
I swear I've seen modded Fallout 4's that look better.

13 or 14 years after they released Skyrim... my expectations for this game are going to be so incomprehensibly high, I can already guarantee now that the wait won't be worth it. And that kind of sucks, honestly, because TES is my favorite series.
evrygame they make looks better but takes mechanics away its sad they use to be my favorite company
I feel you, definitely. The longer they wait though the higher the expectation. So, at this point its probably almost impossible to meet the expectation tbh.
why would you have high expectations when the games have been getting progressively worse since morrowind? Seems a little backwards
Ima wait even longer until the inevitable Game of the Year edition comes out, and then until that's on sale.
Russell G Agreed. I’m really hoping they’ve learned from the fallout 76 cockup. Elder Scrolls 6 could really be something if done well.
7dayspking
Have you ever actually ridden a horse? By the sounds of it I’d say you probably haven’t.

Now I don’t feel as guilty for being fresh out the 22 gate and still crazy into these games.
I just imagine, you being imprisoned in that town underground and then it gets attacked by Orcs And you take that opportunity to escape
brings back memory of black ops 😂
With regard to his comments on the civil war quest line, I remember being lead by Ulfric Stormcloak into battle at Solitude with only like six other soldiers haha
I don't even blame bethesda for that technical limitation, It's the fact that given said limitation they decided to make quests like that in the first place lol... If they wanted to do something similar they could've just had you assigned to an elite squad that infiltrates the city for example, and after you complete what ever objective the game switches from night to day and everything is destroyed after a great battle having taken place...
Instead they actually went with the dramatic music assault with such few NPCs lol...

Is no one saying that the leaker expressed that they're fake?
RIGHT??! I am shocked so few people are calling this out!
What if Bethesda made him say it’s fake?
@@theArab__ :o
Damn, they did?
did they confirm this or what?
Usually leaks nowadays are purposeful, probably to generate hype.
Yeah, like the last of us part 2 right?
Idk Naughty Dog had a big leak a while ago due to employees going on strike cause they weren’t getting paid
It’s obviously purposeful if we get actual news within the next 4 months that confirms it
To think, if my life continue as it is now and according to plan, I'll be married and a father by the time ES6 comes out
And you won't have time to even play it despite waiting more than a decade
“10 times the size of skyrim”
*”16 times the detail”*
Are we seeing a pattern here?
@@KuratCTA I just hope it's good it's been so long sense skyrim came out it would be heart breaking if it wasnt just as good or better
i think it’ll be good they can’t really mess it up fallout 76 was a total flop
Its probably going to be amazing, fo3 fo4 and skyrim are my favorites games so i'm really excited to see whats next
Here is my prediction for ES6: the only modding allowed will be mods installed through a Bethesda owned service
Sadly you're probably right. And it will continue the slow decline of Bethesda into just another EA. Such a shame for a company that fought so hard to include the construction set in Morrowind
People will still mod the game themselves, even if they arent given the tools
aka "Consoles"
That's for consoles pc has there on way to mod
Console can't mod like pc so bethesda tries to capitalize on it.
Dude: 10 times bigger

Not an ES game without bugs 😂😂😂
I am so exited for the new meme lines the guards will have. Also a mage guard breton would be epic
4 times the size
I'm okay with Bethesda taking their time. When we take a look at Skyrim for instance we all complained about the bugs.
My one hope is that they learn from previous installments in regards to feedback, criticism, and the like.
This may seem like I am asking for a lot but, I'm happy it is taking forever and cannot wait for the release.
Positivity is always a good thing and right now I think Bethesda needs it.
Yep, fewer bugs and proper garbage collection.
Nobody:
Some 'leak': There will be kittens in ES6
I just really hope they take their time and actually finish the game instead of being made to push for the release date like Skyrim was for 11.11.11 but full of bugs and devs being unable to actually finished what they planned (ie. the civil war questline).
S M well it they have had all this time
As hopeful as I am about this game I can't imagine I will wind up playing this game.

Between work, rent, car payments, student loans, and life in general.. I don't see how any of that will lessen in another 4 years. Guess I'll just watch youtube videos about it when I'm trying to fall asleep so I at least know the story.
The idea that adults don't play video games is ridiculously out dated.
"Theres only so many npcs you can have on one screen" - dude who's never played days gone.
We’ll just have to keep modding Skyrim till then...
I am really excited of the possibility of the elder scrolls 6 leak being true. Because the last leak made Sony release the last of us 2 in June. bethesda needs more good news.
I really hope they release redfall soon, but Tod Howard is much more stubborn than Sony!
It "made" Sony release it in June? LOL as if they where like:
Dev 1 - Ya know we got this LoU 2 game ready, when do you think we should release it?
Dev 2 - Hmm, well the people don't know it's ready so we can just hang on to a it for a couple more years.
Dev 1 - Yeah your right, we could just keep it in the vault until the PS4 is an archaic unplayed system. That is the logical thing to do
Dev 3 - Oh no guys some just leaked some footage!
Dev 2 - Well s***. I guess we have no choice but to release it now in June now..... Damn those leakers!!!
Unless Todd agreed to let a worker “leak” this to confuse the people.

I guess we'll see.
what gives you the feeling it isnt real?
Might end up being a DLC
@@pitchblack5422 Unfortunately the individual who made the leak has confirmed it is fake.
I've long said that a dlc questline focussed on the rebuilding of orsinium, or even a base game questline, would be awesome. Give the orcs their own province bethesda!
@@pitchblack5422 Because of the points ESO made and given the fact the details discussed is just too well...detailed for a game that in such early development. And it felt too Elder Scroll 2 like. I feel like it was just a very creative fake. Not to mention of course the other small red flags.
