WOW!!! It's been two weeks and the difference is incredible. My jowls are pretty much gone. The folds are still there but softened and the conters of my face... WOW!!! This is absolutely a game changer for me. Thank you so much for this video.
Massage therapist here, when you pull up the back of your neck all the way to the base of your skull and apply gentle pressure or "wiggle" you are helping to relax the facia in those areas, it can cause a "melting" effect, total relaxation 😊
I have one of these in a kit that I purchased with my jade roller. I had no idea what it was called and how to use it! This video is helpful and I know exactly what to do with it. Your skin looks so radiant and firm. Gotta try this tool. Now I need to find it in my bathroom!
For anyone who cares, I got rid of my acne with Mary Kay #3 cleanser and toner back when i was younger, but still need it sometimes. Its the old formula in pink and white packaging...

@@lukebyran085 It's a cool day here today. I'm staying in bed today because of flu and the cold makes my arthritis pain worse. I usually don't chat due to time and my chronic illness I struggle. How are you?
Excellent demonstration on how to work with the Gua Sha tool. I use mine everyday, I find it reduces my puffiness around the eyes due to allergies 🤧, and it also helps with the strain in my neck, helps to slim my face and like to believe forms and firms it. Thank you for sharing 😌😀
YES!! And I find it it just feels so good!! I will sit around and sometimes just want to go use my Gua Sha because I feel like I need that facial massage ☺️ 🍁🍂🍁💕🍁🍂

Yes! I did try facial massage a few years ago and don't remember much, but I do remember pushing my fists up under the bone felt soooooo good...I'm doing it right now again, lol. I will look up Korungi, thank you!
Its great that you don’t claim that this is the holy grail and that you’re not the expert on the technique. I watched so many videos of people who are not experts and giving out advice like they were. Thx for sharing your thoughts on this!
I have the steel gua sha and agree it’s possibly a better choice than the stone. I’ve tried both and think the steel is smoother. I just need to be disciplined & consistent to see the difference. 👍🏼
I do a form of this in the mornings in the bath using my fingers to stimulate sinus drainage. I have been deliberating on getting a tool. Yeah I love Gua Sha.. I often forget to do it.. But then I've been stressed or tired for a while and I see it in my face, I pick up my jade and rose quartz scrapers, use them for a few days and things rapidly improve every time. I use nothing but organic coconut oil. My skin is super sensitive and can't handle any perfumed products because it will break out. The coconut oil is clean and gets absorbed by the skin completely so I can do my gua sha routine and just gently massage any remainder of oil in afterwards.. To do a real good job I like to finnish with the "Tanaka self- massage" which is a face contouring/ lymphatic drainage massage you can also find here on RUclips. That one you just do with your hands and is just a wonderfully relaxing way to do an extra good job on those rainy days when we need some extra self- love.. Cheers!
Very good! I have been watching a few on Japanese yoga for the face as well. I did this with my fingers alone as I have no tool unless I break out a fork lol but it felt very nice. Thank you!! ~~Chanel
If you find that you are swallowing, you are doing it correctly (light-medium touch along the jaw and sinus area) lymphatic fluid is moving and draining into the lymph nodes.
hello beautiful how are you doing today I hope you are having nice day off do tell me how is health and work, how is the weather over there,if I may ask do you mind if we can be friends?
I’m wondering if anyone else is or has experienced an extremely stiff neck after using the Gua sha the first couple of times? My neck has been extremely sore and very stiff after using it. Can’t help but wonder what’s causing it.
Hmmm, it could be the toxins aren’t releasing. if it goes continues, I’d definitely stop and maybe mention it to a health professional to see if there is any significance.
I’ve done no research so I know nothing about this but It seems counterintuitive to me to push fluids(?) up from your neck into your face instead of down and out. 🤔
I have no idea how the lymphs drain so I can't give a good answer, lol. But that's why I do the final forehead to shoulder downward sweep at the end, it feels so good too!!!
Hi...at what step would you add this to your night time skin routine ie I also use retinol and then moisturiser so would you do this before that? Thank you
I do after my serums but before my moisturizer because my serums give my skin the "slip" I need but I don't feel like I'm scraping off my moisturizer! So I wash, put on retinol, then serums (I've been using a ceramide capsule by Beauty Pie), Gua She, then moisturize.
Good Morning Lisa :) I'm so glad you made this video - I too recently started using a Gua Sha, however was unsure if I was doing it correctly but after watching your video looks like I am (lol). Though the instructional video I happen to watch on gua sha suggested you should start from your forehead and work your way down - not sure if this makes a difference. I do have a question for you - have you heard of face cupping? I recently ordered these face cups on amazon however hesitant in using them - apparently they are to improve collagen in your skin - much like gua sha you apply oil on your face and squeeze the tops of the cups for suction then quickly move the cup outwards. I would really love your opinion on this before I proceed. Have a great day!
I have not tried cupping so I can’t advise, I’m so sorry! I have heard a couple of different ways to do the Gua Sha, I just picked the one that I thought had the best sounding credentials, 😂
Lisa: Thank you for the demonstration. Facial massage and facial exercises kept my face in excellent condition; as well as diet and routine exercise. However, after following facial exercise techniques suggested, I damaged the area on each side of my mouth. However, exercising all other areas of the face, very beneficial in keeping skin taunt, miscle tone, and facial definition. What is your opinion on facial exercise?
I know it's been a year, but I would really like to know how you damaged the sides of your face. I have been doing facial exercises, too, and can relate to what you say.
Massage can increases blood circulation which can reduce tension, stimulate collagen and elastin production, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles….it’s a temporary reduction of puffiness. And it feels good! Pretty much like a back massage!
@lisa Monique beauty, I have never considered Gua Sha, as I wasn’t sure how to use it. I do a lot of Indian face/head massage on friends and my kids as I also do Reiki healing (I’m of South Asian descent) and I can see how I could incorporate this in with those techniques. I’m aware that I’m a little late to the party so to speak, but I only recently started wearing makeup and am currently playing “catch up” on the tutorials, so I’m a new subscriber but I do love your videos as they are very clear. I actually started out watching another lady, but her videos were hard for me to properly understand and then I saw a different lady who said she was trying this lady’s techniques so watched that video and understood it perfectly, so a tutorial of the tutorial if you like! Thank you for making your tutorials easy to follow! I love some of the products that you use but can’t actually get them all in my country, unfortunately but still, I can look for “dupes”. Thank you again from a makeup beginner ❣️
Thank you for being here! Yes any of these tutorials can be done with any brand make up. Gosh I have so much make up, I change it up every day but I pretty much apply at the exact same way no matter what I’m using💕

In a gua sha demo by Laura Rae Beauty, she says the wiggle is to encourage lymphatic drainage. Thanks for the demo. I really need to get a tool.
I believe that the wiggle is to encourage the lymphatic drainage , helps spreads the tension quicker

What else do you use on your neck daily, it looks great
I just pull my needleless serum and moisturizer down my neck, and my AHA products, but not my retinol.
I need to get into a more regular routine with my Gua Sha tool.
I know many Asian ladies shave their faces regularly,as do I,but have only recently heard of this.
I LOVE shaving my face, it feels so buttery soft afterwards!!!!

Do you follow this with a moisturizer?
I usually wash the oil off and follow with my regular skincare. I did try and leave oil on but i was getting little bumps.
Hi there, I’m new to your channel and love it. Can I ask how often is it recommended that you do this massage. Thanks
You can do it daily, however, I'm not that disciplined....I do it 3-4 times a week, usually when watching TV at night....

Yes this actually happened to me the other day. It was my first time doing this..I think it’s just moving toxins around as it went away in 2 days
