Eduard Mig 21pfm gets fully built and painted
this kit is fantastic 1/72 scale kit comes with photo etch parts and masking sheet
but the decals have a massive problem and have not printed properly and have to be repaired using paints
hopefully i can do a good job but its going to be hard
this is a excellent detailed kit with a full cockpit interior includeing seat belts and all instrument dials

I noticed mine has the same problem. I guess I will just have to paint those markings
You could try emailing Eduard to see if the can Sen you another set but it isn't too hard to paint it

Can you do me a favour and check your decals to see if they have been misprinted
I am wondering if I am just unlucky and got a bad set
@@yorkshiremanmodels yep.i will check and let you know but the weekend edition that i have comes with Czech and North viatnam decals but i will check regatdless as now that you mention it im wondering if those decals are also misprinted..
Can i ask you when you use Winsor & Newton matt on your models,do you thin it down and what do you use,and what ratio as bought it after you recommended it.Thank you
I tend to use the Matt at the end of the build
I usually thin it around 60% Windsor Newton Matt to 40% tamiya x20a
I do sometimes thin it with water and that's about the same ratio but it takes ages to dry
Even with x20a in it the drying time can be a good few hours

To hear a Yorkshireman use the pronunciation DEE KAL rather than the accepted Commonwealth version -Deh kull - is like listening to a prelate curse. Lovely build, too bad about the decals, they really do suck. Ever since Eduard started printing their own dehkulls (phonetic helpfulness) the complaints have been universal. Not a bad set, they are just shite. - Cheers, from a Canadian Curmudgeon.
yeah my pronunciations can be a bit weird at times
i can get some words completely wrong especially names
when i first started modelling we used to say transfers instead of decals and i still sometimes say it lol
i am starting to see more and more people complain about eduard decals so i know its not just me that has a problem with them
