I was there today, Saturday. We drove up,from Bellingham to see the show. What doesn’t translate on video…and I’ve watched a lot of F22 demo videos…is the SOUND that thing makes. I went to a lot of airshows when I was younger, seen F14’s F15s, F16s, F18s, F4s, F104s and even an SR71. But the F22 is on a whole different level. It’s truly a full body experience seeing one fly.
I lived near TOP GUN SCHOOL, SAN DIEGO. I'M THE PLANE NOISE EXPERT. The jets flew over our hotel ( LaJolla Sheraton/ Nikko ) just to piss off the rich guests at the pool. Lol😂
Props to the cameraman! Amazing how you kept a supersonic capable fighter jet in frame and steady as hell while many people can't record a clip of a stationary rock without shaking like they're having an epileptic fit.
This made me laugh. Thanks for the elaborate compliment. I'm the first to admit I'm not always perfect. Far from it. But I was very happy with how I did this time.
Great if you want to follow rivets on the plane. Maybe next time also include a wide with the horizon as reference. Sorry, but i a local filmmaker. Try next time a 2nd camera, or use a background not the clouds.
Hahaha !! My flying skills lie in the ole Microsoft Combat Flight Sim WW2 Pacific Theatre. My fave planes to fly were the F4U Corsair and a P38 Lightning !! I hear ya tho man !! I feel the need .... the need for speed !! Maybe I'll watch Maverick again !!! hahaha
I saw this at the Friday airshow, It stole the show, unless you were there it is hard to describe the power of the engines you feel through out your body. Great airshow.
There is absolutely nothing comparable to the first time ever experiencing a fighter jet up close and personal like this. It is a rush I can’t explain. You must be there for it and experience it first hand at least once on your life. I actually get emotional because it’s just mind blowing and makes me feel so proud to be an American. 🇺🇸

I remember seeing a f16 when i was younger in a air show the sound was so load that my entire body felt it I freaking loved it. I can’t imagine what it was like watching the f22 and the photography is amazing!
Thrust vectoring a long with its huge control surfaces makes the raptor cutting edge for decades to come. My uncle piloted the F4 phantom in Vietnam when I was a boy so I'm a little bias but you can't help but be impressed with the F22. God bless America. 🇺🇸
I saw the A-1 Skyraider and F-22 flying in VERY close formation when I was driving through Abbotsford. I was on call with my Dad who is also an aviation enthusiast... Definitely made my month.
I watched the f22 last yr at Cleveland Air show. Absolutely amazing to see and witness still sends chills watching on video. Most incredible thing I've ever seen
Wow! That was one Impressive Performance by an Awesome Aircraft!👏 And Let's Not forget the Pilot! The Men and Women who fly the F22 and other Fighters whether 4th or 5th Generation are Incredibly Skilled Aviators!👍👏
The F-22 has been the best Fighter jet since it was first in active service 2015, maybe the 10 year younger f-35 has a chance but I doubt it the f22 is air superiority the f35 is multi, the big problem with the f22 is is that it costs unbelievable amount of money, but it’s also much much better than the competition, and even if you have the small fortune it costs it’s one of the weapons have a 100% export ban on, B1 and B2 the same, the US Air Force is unfortunately good and expensive 😮 and the super carriers 100.000 tons nuclear powered, even the old ones are far better than what other countries can build, always funny when Americans take like there are a series military treat to them, probably a single of the 11 super carrier groups are more powerful than all of any other navy, don’t remember the number of ships and submarines a group has but its like a full navy
It seemed like the high speed pass of the raptor was slower than the CF-18 Hornet, although it could have been an optical illusion because the raptor is bigger. Wondering if anyone else thought so as well. I was there Friday and Sunday, and I think the Friday evening might have been the best with the incredible lighting with the sunset. Also, the raptor on Sunday couldn't do the flat spin that we saw on friday because of the cloud layer. The moment you captured the weapons doors open with the afterburners going would make a great still photo as well! Fantastic footage you got and hope to see more!
Wow probably one of the best performances from a raptor. Usually they don’t really do much but fly in straights or gain altitude. Best I’ve personally seen was a raptor flying 60 feet above the crowd.
Bit off topic. Retired F/A 18 airframer here. The most insane shows of power I have seen was B-1 lancers taking off in Qatar and the fly bys. Shook rust from the hangar rafters every time. Great videos, beautiful bird the F-22
The way these things move is like no other aircraft I've seen, every movement is precise and there is little wobble. I've seen Russian planes with thrust vectoring do some crazy maneuvers, but the F22 is so smooth and slick. Combine it with the right pilot and it is leagues above any other fighter on Earth.
I saw this demonstration. It was my first time to see an F-22 and I'm totally blown away by the awsome power I felt as it flew by with afterburners. At 43 years of age this may be the loudest sound I've ever heard. Absolutely incredible!
I wish, just once, I could find a F-22 Raptor video that would stay zoomed out see we can see what the plane is doing in relation to the background. Look, I can tell it's pull some incredible G's because of the contrails that are produced, at super low altitude,...I got it! Check the box on that one, two thumbs up!!👍👍 Now, can we actually see what those maneuvers look like if we were standing on the ground watching this plane whip through the air please?
