I just write this comment on my wall, I am planning to study in Germany for the next year but am just worried about Home sickness because I never lived away from my family ever.
Still no matter after all what you said, I accept these challenges to study abroad because productive and long-lasting success is always difficult and challenging and there are always advantages and disadvantages. LEAVE OR IN. The choice is yours but one thing you taught is that to prepare with time.
I'm here in turkey about one month now ...I have to take this decision coz my father die and family no more ...I buy house in turkey so now I'm ready to start my new life ...it's really hard to face language barrier ...but here people's are so frindly ... turkey is best for living if u know Turkish language
But are Turkish degrees really not recognized? Because I found this on the Internet: "Since Turkey is a part of the European Higher Education Area, diplomas taken from Turkish Universities are recognized in European Union countries." and ,,Turkey is the second country in the world in access to higher education with 94.2% schooling rate. ... So, the diploma you receive from a university in Turkey is recognized in all European countries!'' Are the degrees/diplomas recognized only in Europe?
The only question that matters before the start of a new life in any country is "Was not your own country/ homeland country worthful in any matter like education, professional or personal life that caused you to go away ?" Here, the answer holds RESPECT and DIS-RESPECT for your own/homeland country. I am from DHA Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan and completed my education as Graduate of 'Bachelor of Science in Computer Science' ( BSCS ) from DHA Suffa University as it's internationally recognized. Pakistan is worthful in every matter. I don't like foreign countries except for when they step up for signing 'Memorandum of Understanding' (MOU) with Pakistan for the work of betterment. Well, No hard feelings for you. I wish you good fortune for what you planned to achieve.

In Germany people can speak English esp in big cities...in Turkey I guess English is an issue people rarely speak....as per my holidays experience even though I loved Turkish people and cities....why u chose turkey

my university is english medium and well its a really good and affordable university so i dont think just because of the language issue i shouldnt chose it

I think u stressed a lot on loosing one year learning Turkish, but still u may require it for survival in turkey. And consideration for gap year is increasing across the world.
