    The community in PA needs parenting reform. "We grew up in the streets"? WTF? I played in the streets as a child, but I was raised by two parents that gave us priority. I am really tired of this cultural plague being ignored in the US. You want healthy communities? Glorify education and self-betterment instead of willful ignorance and toxic hip hop culture. Teach young women that 'Having babies" is no good if you have no hope to impose your will to give them a better life. Teach young women that teamwork makes the dream work. Coupling and children should be lifelong commitments not selfish whims. Chances are high if you disagree with all I have written you probably were not raised right. The US needs the community to lift itself up. Note to community lean on common sense and moral and ethical behavior. Religions are not necessary to thrive. Especially Islam, which wallows in toxic grievance.

    Honestly, the internal adjustments within probation have been occurring since Covid. It went from a weekly/monthly check in to video calls and phone calls. I had 4 years left on probation when Covid hit, I went from seeing my PO every month to my PO having me send an email in every month. My probation officer changed every other month without notice, leaving big gaps in the cross over, not having POS for months at a time. Then suddenly, I’ll get a phone call asking for me to schedule a phone call next month and within weeks, that PO is gone or repositioned and that phone call doesn’t even take place. When I got off probation, this past September they took my fingerprints and DNA. It’s a new record keeping system PA has mandated for a multitude of new charges. It used to be used for only the most violent of offenses, now it’s basically everyone. So A, it’s going to be a lot harder to bypass the system even with offenders not receiving lengthy probationary sentences. And 2. The downsizing of probation has been happening for a couple of years now behind the scenes. People getting sentenced to house arrest instead of jail or half way houses, probationary guidelines being overlooked and probation officers being let go, leaving the current officers with a massive caseload and added responsibilities.
    I’ll also mention I was on probation because I got into a car accident with a suspended license. Before y’all try to come for me I am college educated, I served my time with zero violations, I am a mother, a daughter and I pay well over my fair share of taxes. If you come to respond to this insight, come correct. 🙏🏽

      How lazy and inactive is your brain? The "criminals" are mostly people who have committed minor offenses, which is greater than 1/4 of the country, and are punished for life for it here in the land of the free. The people who run the system are worse than the people caught up in it. We have more people working as government slaves than any other country on earth and people serving life for shoplifting. Note that this is only possible because of simple minded citizens like yourself.

    The brutal reality is that the criminal justice system systematically denies the accused and those convicted their due process and constitutional rights because we have fostered a society so steeped in lawlessness and degeneracy that it would be difficult to control it via proper means. I suspect this is by design by nefarious actors who hate productive and free western societies and the working class European peasants who escaped restrictive societies across the Atlantic. The plea bargain machinery effectively denies the right to a jury trial and bullies the accused into pleas. This is beyond morally reprehensible but no one dares shine light on it because the courts would grind to a halt.

    • @zippydoo9533
      @zippydoo9533 9 месяцев назад

      You're right!! During the George Floyd so called murder trial as the jury was deliberating people including a congress woman from California were DEMANDING a guilty verdict. We can not sustain a civilization or civilized society with stupid mob rule. The morons are on the march with torches and the media instead using logic are fanning the flames with hysterical comments from people calling themselves reporters.
