F22 is a BEAST. Love the way it's "tail feathers" were moving/adjusting as it came over the top at 9:54 ...Almost like it was living thing, feeling its way through the maneuver, (as it's fly by wire computer/controls recalculated its needs, thousands of times a second)
Nothing wrong with any of these aircraft and everyone has their own favorite(s) and there's nothing wrong with being proud of one's country and their unique abilities. Expressing appreciation for any one aircraft does not mean someone is 'better' than anyone else, as we all have much to be proud of within our own respective countries.

@Thomas Robinson That isn't true my friend. My father is an aerospace engineer and understands how stealth technology works. Stealthy tech does not make a plane invisible from radar, that is a lie. It minimises the chances of being seen and there reducing the chance of being shot down. Besides, Typhoons and Rafales have been beating F22s from close through to medium ranges regularly at Red Flag for years.
I’m a sucker for nostalgia and love the f16 and tornado.... but that raptor ..... holy f@ !!! That’s a different cattle of fish all together !!

The Raptor speaks for itself... but I do have to give the Typhoon credit, that was one hell of a take off.

And the su-27, for being a more long range and given its size and weight the capabilities are impressive. Though obviously the f-22 takes the cake.
I've seen the f22 raptor at a couple of air shows and it blows me away everytime. Its incredible
The Typhoon is insane. I saw it at Farnborough in ... 2014? It was like a UFO. Absolutely unbelievable engineering.
I am a fan of Russian Sukhois and Migs, but Wow, the F22 is breathtakingly precise on its maneuvering.

F-22 is indeed still my favorite though, but from the ones that can actually be exported to other countries, I have to say that my favorite is actually still F-16. Because its rather cheap (relatively speaking), combat proven, agile and reliable fighter and there is something about its looks that I still prefer over the other 4th/4.5 gen fighters.

Agreed F-22 is still the most amazing looking/performing fighter...and ofc considering how expensive one such plane is, you should expect nothing less from it.
From older generation fighters I have to say I still have soft spot for F-16. Its cheap (relatively speaking), reliable, and rather good looking fighter.
Raptor be like: No need for fancy rolls, just pitch up and let that rocket go straight up.
If there was the german ghost tiger I would've probably chosen that one as my fav though

Typhoon would not have a chance. The plain fact is that there's too much technologie packed into the f-22. It's a 5th gen. aircraft, a gen agead of all 4th gen aircraft. Just making statements like that are idiotic. I'm sure you're smarter than this, no?
F-22 Raptor and Eurofighter Typhoon are the best to me with a special mention to the French Rafale

Raptors are beasts! Saw one going thru testing driving down I-75S in early 2000 near Marietta GA (home to Lockheed Martin). It came out of nowhere, vertical and less than 200 feet from my car!!! Scared the s**t out of me and everyone else doing 80mph on the interstate... glanced in my rear view and saw cars scrambling not to pile up when it flew over.... it had its bay doors open and no one knew what it was. Got to my hotel and did a quick search and sure enough, it was being tested in Marietta at the exact time it flew over the interstate.... the only platforms missing here are the Bone and C-17. Raptors are beautiful machines🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Great film, thanks! The Typhoon won it for me, right up until the incomparable Raptor performed. All of the pilots here were awesome, but I also think the Rafale had a gorgeous paint job.
All countries have amazing product but what makes us superior is the support infrastructure

All fantastic aircraft...what a rush it must be to fly them! But yeah...the F-22 is in a class all its own, and will be for decades to come. I've seen this thing FALL FROM THE SKY, doing things an airplane simply can't do...but does, in airshows. And its combat capabilities are unparalleled.

.......I get a lump in my throat watching such perfect precision, especially every time of about 54 I've seen the Blue Angels' shows at US Naval Academy.......for one of my film class projects in college I did a short with Frank Zappa's "Dumb All Over" music bed, using tons of footage I'd shot at Andrews AFB and Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Maryland. That A400M is just amazing. The power it has and that climb rate is the best considering it just a transporter/cargo plane. Well done AIRBUS!
SU 27 is the most elegant, F 22 the most deadly, both beautiful machines.

YF23 Black Widow was better in every test but politics picked the YF22 Raptor for the new contract.
I wouldn't be surprised if we made a squadron or two of the yf23. It would be awesome if that's true.

I love it when the cargo planes get flown like really big fighters, and while the Raptor stole the show I have to say I particularly liked the Tornado.
My favorite takeoff was an F-15, years ago in Memmingerberg AFTER the air-show, on its way back to Ramstein! That really showed the power of the new fighters, compared to the old Phantoms and F-104s. The F-15 held the climbing record at that time. Really impressive, how it accelerated from the runway to the (far away) woods and then pulled it up, vertically.
A400M is just amazing. 1 off the best A/C
The A400M has to win just based on the ridiculous climb angle achieved & sustained.
Obviously the jets are just mental with performance but that is a massive cargo plane & that is one hell of a feat!
Typhoon is my choice with a close second by the Raptor 👍👍👍

Great video of impressive take offs but to really appreciate these fighters, I think a video of competitive 3D flying would be most impressive. Of course, the thrust vectoring models would truly amaze.

I live by an airport,I know my airplane sounds,heard something different Coming,looked out window and saw one f22 fly right above my trees,second one was upside down..crazy.they were so low.
The Raptor is the best one.
I just really like looking at all these aircraft.
That Eurofighter flys SO differently than all the others. Seems to drift it's tail everywhere

I think the late Sukhois and MiGs are the best looking overall, the Fulcrums and Flankers. Otherwise the F-16 looks great imo.
It even stayed in one piece the whole time!

Not a huge fan of the F18 (because it killed off my favorite plane the F14) but that take off was pretty spectacular at 2:57 when the contrails come off the leading edge of the wing roots.
The F-18 Hornet didn't kill the F-14; the F-18 Super Hornet killed the F-14. It's a completely different plane, except it looks like the original Hornet because of bureaucratic tape, contracts, and other government BS. And the design just works. So keep the love for the Hornet, and hate the younger brother "Super" Hornet.

Amazing how the Atlas has 4 large turboprop jet engines hanging from it's wings yet the wings themselves hold them just fine. It looks like it wouldn't take much for those engines to rip a wing apart

best = the French Raf was awesome, the Euro-Fighter pretty good too! Of course the F-22 is the best plane, but this was just about these particular take-offs. Missed seeing an F-15 though.
I would’ve loved to see an old Vietnam Era Mig17 take off and pull a hard turn. That would’ve been pretty cool
Yeah, the Frenchies pushing the stick forward to stay low was just awesome in both their Dassault Rafale and Mirage. Just awesome.
The Raptor is head and shoulders above the rest of those 4th gen planes.
I've always had a soft spot for the Su-27 and its variants.
My favorites are the Turkish and Belgian F-16s and the Ukrainian Su-27. The American F-22 Raptor speaks for itself and I also like the Czech and Swedish Gripens.

The F-22 and Typhoon are badass planes but in my opinion the award goes to the F/A-18 and most of all this pilot cause that fucker had the balls to take off and damn near stall that shit right off the ground.

Saved the best for last. Quite a few of these aircraft made badass takeoff rolls, but the F-22 is just fucking insane. The F-35 was also a much better an aircraft than I anticipated at the recent 2018 RIAT. It would be right up there with the F-22 if it had two engines instead of one.
F-22 from the 1st TFW. I was with the 1st TFW and was a Crew Chief on F15s.

F-22 makes me proud to be an American! Still looks like something from the future but it's already 30 years old.
I liked the take off's but I have seen the F 15 Eagle go vertical been doing that for years I believe it still holds the vertical climb record. The best take off ever is when the Navy strapped 8 solid rockets to the vertical stablizer of a C 130 and had it take off from the deck of an Aircraft Carrier.
