This whole performance was lovely, but the girl in the left, in the plain dress, has an amazing voice. When she hit those high notes, chills! Beautiful!
I can't get over the note the soprano hits at 3:15, coupled with that slight trill. that was incredible. They both sang so well

I must confess..... and I can't help myself. This music video is so beautiful. Every Sunday after dinner, I run to my computer with a glass of wine and play this video several times. The music and singers are so grand.
You must listen this music through a decent pair of loudspeakers, preamplifier and a stereo amplifier. You'll hear things you didn't even know was there, like it was the first time you listened this wonderful piece.

This is so beautiful, & so encouraging that the future of performing such lovely music & operatic singing is in the hands of fine young people.
I loved how they looked so relaxed and how they began to warm up and have fun! That was quite charming, and the performance was fabulous as well!

Having enjoyed the beautiful music I thought I have to leave my gratefulness through my comment. Even without knowing the story, language, lyrics,etc., I think I am the most enjoyed man among the millions who already watched this recording because of the reason that my mind, before and during the enjoyment of this wonderful music, was clean ie., without having any prior understanding about the composer and his sweet music. And if you ask me about my assessment ( although having little knowledge, technically) of your rendition: I will reply- sweet, lovely, wonderful, etc. Thanks.God has preserved some charming music like this to enable people like me to cleanse their minds once in a while!

I've heard many variations of this piece, sung by many different pairs of ladies, but this by far was the most beautiful. The two voices complimented each other perfectly, and placed every note with a colorful softness that this Bacarolle calls for. Bravo. Two thumbs way up.

Beautiful young singers and musicians. I listened to this yesterday and it was so delightful that it played on and on in my mind. Listening again today and probably tomorrow.
My wife and I just watched the Met free streaming of this opera, and though my knowledge of arias is slim, I recognized this one right away. By the way the streaming is still on till tomorrow about 5pm MDT, if you have 3 hours to spare.
Simply superb, one of the finest performances of the Barcarolle I have heard.

There several renditions of this beautiful work on UTube,lovely ladies with astounding voices and talent to use them and a couple of instrumental versions as well. The wonderful part is that they are done so very well.
This version really gets to me, in that these young people, orchestra and singers, render a very professional perfomance beautiful beyond expections. An amazing feat, when the modern youth as a group does not show that much promise.
Fabulous, it is wonderful to hear young people who have so dedicated themselves to such perfection.
