This song is enjoyable, but it's definitely one of the weaker songs off the album and one of my least favourite. This one is probably the radio friendly track. His best song with deep meanings and lyricism, and most will say the same is, Heart Attack. The raw honesty and message on this track is amazing. You can't listen to this song without feeling something. It's just on another level of artistry and what Dave is beloved by his fans for. Survivor's Guilt Into the Fire is good for the bars but again is more of a flex song.
I love the balance of the album because you can't have all pure emotion songs where he's pouring his heart out. Every time verndansk comes on I'm loving it 'cos it easy/fun to listen to. The lyrical heaviness of the other songs can wear on you if you listen to them a lot. So I wouldn't call it a 'weaker' song - because they can't all be survivors guilt otherwise the whole album would be depressing af.
