'Heart Attack' is well worth your time. Very different to 'Verdansk', more introspective and says a lot about Dave and his family background and struggles. If you listen to one more track on the album, it should be that one. Salute to y'all.
They haven't reviewed some of the more witty, lyrical & deeper meaning songs off some of the albums they have reacted to. I understand being busy with their personal lives. I hope they can at least go back on those albums. Like personally I would love if they did one more from Jcole & dave dtc. Also from one of the new Nas album. That being said still one of the best none "cringe" reaction channels on RUclips
This song is the most listened track on the album but it’s far from the best. Into The Fire or Heart Attack are the two you guys HAVE to do and two you both would LOVE to breakdown and talk about. Much love from over the pond ❤️
This a good “talk yo shit” typa song from Dave, but it’s only one of a couple on the album, so it makes sense why y’all thought it didn’t really connect with the album title/concept. The majority of the other songs delve into deep topics and are much more bar heavy, like In The Fire, Heart Attack, Survivor’s Guilt, We’re All Alone, etc. which I would all recommend.
The loose concept of the album is the fine line between joy and sadness and the album is split almost perfectly into deeper, more meaningful songs and then songs like this which are more upbeat/banger type of songs
Hopefully you do more from this album, because this is one of the weaker tracks on it imo, In the Fire, We're All Alone, Both Sides of a Smile, Heart Attack are all must-react!
Please react to the whole album, it’s extremely good. He’s a talented artist and his lyricism is definitely something you’d enjoy. If not the whole album, at least listen to “In The Fire”, or “Heart Attack” or “We’re All Alone”. Masterpiece 🔥
If you want the best of this album, reacting to Heart Attack, Into the fire, survivors guilt, sides of a smile is where you find Daves best work of art
The reference to “airlifted” could mean, in the uk when somebody is stabbed or seriously injured they will often get airlifted by helicopter to get them to a hospital quicker.
Verdansk is definitely not the song to listen to to see what this album or Dave is about. If you only listen to this and call it a day then your definitely missing out.
Heart Attack needs covering, Into The Fire and We’re All Alone too. Most songs on the album are better than Verdansk tbh, which is just a materialistic track. You need to cover the deep, lyrical tracks
Brick lane is a very popular place in Shorditch, almost got it my guys. You missed a LOT of UK references tho - no hate. M25 is the ring road around London "Rental, I never insured it, M25, gotta whip that calmly". Fruit and Barley be a popular squash/cordial drink in Uk - "Squash that beef like fruit and barley, still got a one black star like Kwame". LBC (leading Britains conversation) radio has a presenter called Nick Ferrari "Four-double-eight in the party, LBC how I nicked the Ferrari". Kettle is both a gun and a ghetto way to cook food - "Chill with the stupid looks or it's gonna be a kettle that I use to cook".
For context in the UK an airlift is like an ambulance but in helicopter format. When its so serious they sent a helicopter to get you to the hospital because they cant risk being caught up in traffic
Verdansk has its place in the context of the whole album. Really like this song. Love some of the rhymes (quite esoteric for UK, a lot of lines that might not translate) and the beat, which is HARD. It works as a good contrast to the emotion and slick pen of Heart Attack, Survivors Guilt and a few others. Ryan and George would love those two songs, they make the album. one of the best albums this year IMO. Incase no one mentioned it Brick Lane is a popular area in Shoreditch, London
I am a confirmed metal head/rock fan, but like you guys, I am working on appreciating another variation of this art called “music”. So, I’m listening to rap/hip hop, and learning about it.
This was dope guys, I dug that beat heavy!! Been meaning to check Dave out since he first started getting buzz, the tracks I heard by him that you guys reacted to were all good🔥🔥 I'm gonna check out his discog!! Much love!!
Brick Lane is a street in the neighborhood of Shoreditch. It's known for being kinda hipster and full of curry restaurants. But, Dave is using bricks is the other way, playing off of Brick Lane, suggesting his ability to make money.
I've been waiting on your reaction for real!! You guys need to do We're all alone, In the fire, heart attack, two sides of a coin. The whole album just hits different!
Brick Lane and Shoreditch are hip areas in East London. Thank you for the reaction. Consider reacting to We’re All Alone Three Rivers In The Fire Both Sides Of A Smile Surviver’s Guilt Heart Attack is definitely the album highlight but very emotional and heavy, quite upsetting as well. All these songs are full of substance, bars and lyricism. You won’t regret listening to them. Overal the album is really special, I’d say it’s similiar to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy in its musicality and certain topics. BTW We Are All Alone In This Together entered UK album charts at no. 1 and it’s the best selling album so far this year. You guys should listen to it entirely on your own time. Greetings from the UK 👌🏾
Probably been answered already but Brick Lane is an area in Shoreditch in East London. But obviously Brick Lane is about selling drugs - clever play on words.
This song is enjoyable, but it's definitely one of the weaker songs off the album and one of my least favourite. This one is probably the radio friendly track. His best song with deep meanings and lyricism, and most will say the same is, Heart Attack. The raw honesty and message on this track is amazing. You can't listen to this song without feeling something. It's just on another level of artistry and what Dave is beloved by his fans for. So the tracks I consider a MUST to see what this album is about and the more deeper songs are:- 1. Heart Attack 2. Both Sides of A Smile 3. We're All Alone 4. Three Rivers 5. Survivor's Guilt Into the Fire is good for the bars but again is more of a flex song.
I love the balance of the album because you can't have all pure emotion songs where he's pouring his heart out. Every time verndansk comes on I'm loving it 'cos it easy/fun to listen to. The lyrical heaviness of the other songs can wear on you if you listen to them a lot. So I wouldn't call it a 'weaker' song - because they can't all be survivors guilt otherwise the whole album would be depressing af.
Omg finally!!!! I feel like I been waiting on UK reactions for years! Love your breakdowns! Please delve in deeper to UK music you’ll find some absolute gems
GUYS, I can tell you are trying your best with this song despite not getting all the references but really I think you need to review a song on the album called IN THE FIRE, it’s universally a fantastic song full of amazing lyrics. Please would love to see you two go through it as there is so much to go over from the bars. As always, love the content you do so keep it up!!
Three Rivers or Heart Attack are the deepest tunes...you guys should do more of the album, you picked one of only few songs where he flexing a bit making bangers. Lots of very deep conscious rap on the album!
Guys, I love your channel. I would like to recommend the following four songs: 1) Judas Priest- The Sentinel 2) Metallica- The shortest straw 3) Yingwie Malmsteen- Little Savage 4) Sepultula- Stronger than hate
Heart attack and survivors guilt are much more fitting for you’re reveiws since they touch on some real subjects we can all relate too, I know you both like dissecting the deep ones !!

I hope they do this one
fam youre tapped in the head. its survivors guilt by a fing mile
@@muriu yea it's disappointing. They gotta listen to full albums
This track wasnt the best to start with, they shoulda started with first track like with PD
This song is the most listened track on the album but it’s far from the best. Into The Fire or Heart Attack are the two you guys HAVE to do and two you both would LOVE to breakdown and talk about. Much love from over the pond ❤️
My favorite was heart attack by far imo was better and deeper
Don’t forget both sides of a smile, but regardless, the whole album slaps, tho clash is a bit weak
@@rhys.cunningham4179 theirs a couple songs I can't stand on the album but a solid project indeed
Was hoping u guys would jump on this three rivers is the best for me tho 🔥💪🏾💯💙
Don’t you guys think Dave is getting a bit cliché now
Yes love it! Any chance of “In the Fire”? That track is insane
In the fire would have been the ideal track for these two to react to 😦 + a great intro to the ft. Artists on the track like Ghetts 👑🔥
IN. SANE
Guys... I implore you. Please listen to the entire album. Its a magnificent piece of work
You need to do it the fire, one verse will blow your mind
What verse
Ghetts
Ghetts its lightwork for him. I dont believe theres a rapper alive better than him when it comes to technical abillity

Heart attack was the best
It’s not the weakest it’s more of a vibe n go hard, the ones you’ve named r the ones W deeper meaning n Yh for a video like this they’d be pretty good
For real, they would actually love in the fire.
dave in the fire is a must!
PLEASE DO IN THE FIRE AND HEART ATTACK THESE ARE LEGENDARY
We’re all alone is a perfect song to represent the whole album!!
Gotta do "in the fire"

You have to do “in the fire” unbelievable! Whole album another classic guys
Heart Attack for a deep song, In The Fire for a MAD SONG 🔥

I’m so happy you reacted to this!! You break every bar down 💯
You should 100% do heart attack, the actual song is prob 6/7 minutes and the rest is something else
For context in the UK an airlift is like an ambulance but in helicopter format. When its so serious they sent a helicopter to get you to the hospital because they cant risk being caught up in traffic
Pleeeeeeeeeeaae do Dave ‘In the fire’ next! Killer features on there 🔥
Real props. I love y'all s perspective on music
Heart attack, both sides of a smile and in the fire are all great songs, would love to see your reactions to them
I feel like whenever youre reviewing rap from the UK the Genius page will be useful to explain the slang they use

For real though… the way y’all break lyrics down….. In the fire IS the next track you neeeeeeed to do 1000000000%
"In the fire" is one of those tracks to react to

You guys are legends 😭❤️
First time really checking your reactions, notifications on and alerts fully on 👌🇬🇧
Best UK artist
Both sides of a smile is a masterpiece
Need to listen to the whole album, its a must react.
You should react to Heart attack off his album as well, one of his best songs ever.
we’re all alone if you’re looking for something shorter than heart attack, but still with lyrics to digest
I've been waiting on your reaction for real!! You guys need to do We're all alone, In the fire, heart attack, two sides of a coin. The whole album just hits different!
you should do His & Hers (Perspectives) by Wretch 32 (another UK artist) with the music video

Probably been answered already but Brick Lane is an area in Shoreditch in East London. But obviously Brick Lane is about selling drugs - clever play on words.
I can’t believe you choose this of the album you have to do a reaction to “in the fire” 🔥🔥🔥
This is honestly AOTP you’ve got to react to the more lyrical songs off the album
🔥 tracks are.. we all alone in this together, in the fire, three rivers, Lazarus, heart attack, survivors guilt.
This song is enjoyable, but it's definitely one of the weaker songs off the album and one of my least favourite. This one is probably the radio friendly track.
