At the beginning of April, I finally decided on creating youtube videos consistently. And your pieces of advice are so accurate! I'd add one more step even before planning a strategy or picking a niche that REALLY helped me: just start recording anything and publish it. Don't overthink it. Try it for a month or two, try to experiment and you will finally see what works well for YOU! The worst decision I always made was to create videos on XYZ that I didn't even like creating. Then I ended up burnt out and frustrated, thinking that youtube was not for me. Especially if you're like me, and you have many interests or skills, picking a niche that early can be hard. I personally think, that is best to create anything and after a couple of weeks you can decide 1) if creating videos is actually something that you want to do and 2) what kinds of videos you like making. Then you can pick a niche and decide on something, plan a proper strategy and be really consistent. Stop overthinking, start doing, people around don't care, once you publish the first video (even if it's not perfect), it becomes EASIER!

this video just gave me an amazing idea to frame my upcoming "i spent a weekend in a tiny home video" to a "surviving 48 hours in an off-grid tiny home" style video. It is going to perform so much better through that "challenge" lens.

If I would to start again on YT, I just wouldn't waste months to get recognized by couple hundred people. When I discovered I could trigger organic growth after getting first 1k subs (using Fame Ster Social) my life just got easier and my main channel exploded. People are just looking at the numbers when searching for some content. If you have low subs no one cares about you even if you have best content on platform.

This is the best RUclips "tutorial" I've ever seen. Far too often do people title videos like "HOW TO SUCCEED AT RUclips AND GET IMMEDIATE FOLLOWERS!" but they never actually say what those steps are beyond "make good content." This has given a great structure to go by. I've always wanted to do RUclips but likely never will. Just super interesting to see how people can succeed at it.

I really appreciate you breaking this down into an actionable plan with slides haha! So many social media channels are about pushing big broad ideas but it's hard to break them down into what the eff do I actually do with that info? This 3 types of content info really inspires me because i, like i'm sure a lot of others, do not want to niche at all. I even said it in my first video like if a little variety is too much than this is probably not the place for you! We need room to breathe and grow. Love this video and your content it's real and authentic and actionable. Thank you!

I've been creating off and on for over a decade but never consistently so I am also technically starting over in 2023 with around 300 subscribers. This is incredibly helpful as someone who is also actually doing it- in the sense that it is really hard to watch creators who are like 'I'm so successful, I did it and I'm amazing, let me tell you how I did it.... x amount of time ago..." not helpful. But to see it come up and grow literally why it's happening is so helpful and so encouraging that this is something I might actually be able to do.

Thank you so much for explaining about how to post on RUclips. I am 52 years young and planning to put some videos out there cause I am also a flight attendant and I want to show like the other half of my life after 50 combining with my profession feels like. I am learning so much although growing up with only watching RUclipsrs and getting to know what somewhat how things have to be done.

Of ALL the videos I've watched as a newbie RUclipsr this is the one that has made the most sense Katie. And has me not only calmer but excited to create more.
Thank you you so much for it.
