What's the plan for that '59 Fireflite? Jacked up on a 4x4 chassis and painted pink? Please don't ;-)
It is actually a replica at the moment. The original was just on body blocks which we elected not to do, just jacking up the suspension. The original paint, though beige, looks pink enough that we kept the patina. Totally reversible everything we did. Its a 1958 Firedome.
Where did the Batmobile come from?! SWEET!!
Well, you may notice from the other vids on our channel that we build all sorts of Movie & TV Starcars. Not only just about any vehicle from the Mad Max Movie series, but things like KITT for Knightrider, Greased Lightning from Grease, General Lee, etc. This particular Batmobile is super cool, and a blast to work on. However, even though we did not build this particular one (it was built by another Batmobile Builder that has been around the hobby forever), it was entrusted to us to make some repairs. I love your work guys! I’m a fan of mad max and I really love the Ford falcon XA coupe which is my dream car! Also there’s one on eBay that you can buy for $39,500 dollars but it costs a fortune to get to America...still love your vids and works on these vehicles, also if ford were to remake the Australian 1973 falcon coupe’s would you buy one? I would.

I am always cautious about cars on Ebay, but there are some really nice ones on our classifieds right now, and they are IN THE USA already! One is a nice driver quality XA that is only listed for $49K and owner is probably negotiable. Glad you like it! Yes, there is several "Torinoceptors" as the community lovingly calls the Mad Max Interceptor "Tribute" cars build from a Torino. There is not, not like this one anyway. As mentioned in the video, it is a "Wasteland Themed" vehicle, not a screen accurate replica of any kind.
