Great video: Quick question: can the Atomos Ninja ProRes record on 4K 120fps on the Sony A7S3??

Great video. We work in many countries and it's so good how you tell the story visually. Following the channel as I dive into HDR with the A7S3. Thanks

The colors just look amazing. Did you shoot in SLOG3 for much of this footage?
I've been wondering what situations would be more ideal for shooting in Prores RAW because of the greater file sizes even though it is very mildly compressed. What do you think?

Very good question. I plan on talking about that in 2 more videos. I do record most in prores raw/slog3 and I'll share how I'm now color grading. Next video is taking about crispy sound in voiceover and interviews. Next is exactly what you are asking. Too much to answer quickly here.

And you are right, the file sizes are so big. If I'm doing an interview, must likely not shooting RAW. But for most broll, I'll shoot raw and convert fairly quickly in the process to h265. This way I have more flexibility in post. Especially if I know how I want to color grade my film before shooting. I think that's key for me.
