Your videos have a real peacefulness quality about them even when there is so much is happening behind the scenes with your injury. I enjoy watching your process, you have a real talent as well.
I adore loose and sketchy!! So well done! I love your channel so much! I hope you are well! I find myself thinking of your post regularly so thank you so much for such inspiration ❤
Great video and so lucky nothing too bad happened to you with your fall - it could have gone so wrong. Do be careful! Great to see that small portrait of Gudrun Bojesen (ballet-dancer) being shipped to the U.S. - fantastic! And....the portrait you did is magnificent; frame absolutely perfect. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing your studio life and I hope your back gets better soon. Your art looks beautiful. That big wooden panel looks exciting to paint on. I tried painting on a small panel for the first time and I enjoy how the paint moves on it. Will have to give a bigger panel a try. God bless.
lovely thanks for sharing. I enjoyed it. I was busy with a small business startup, regarding organic hen farming. That is why missed a few of your content.
We all have our good and bad days. Your recent fall sounds pretty scary. I'm glad to hear there was no harm done. Sounds like you may need a strategy to mitigate the risk of falling, especially on stairs. Your pic of Jimena's sister turned out great!
When I want to paint from reference and maintain a loose style, I often blur the image a bit so that I don't overanalyse the details. Perhaps that doesn't work for everybody, but for me it helps quite a lot! :) (Also, wish you all the best with your back
@@izzywebberart Magnesium cream is amazing for muscle spasms. Roll on versions are handy for this. Rub it on as early as you can before it gets unbearable. Of course you may get the pain that goes from 0 to hysterically ugly in two seconds, which means you need to take painkillers. And that’s how we started taking magnesium tablets every day. It’s been a big game changer. It reduced the severity and likelihood of bad spasms.
@@izzywebberart I hope it helps you. It's worth reading up on. It even helped my Mum with her post shingles pain and nothing else had given her relief. There are different types of magnesium. I use a locally made cream. And an Australian tablet form. Very relaxing and helps sleep.
Hi. I found your channel a little while ago. I’m an artist who hurt their back like you. I fractured my L5 and slipped a disc. I love the art you make and one day I will buy something of yours. Bye.

Hi, I have a question, how can you make your painting so smooth and dry quickly for shipping?
I usually wait a few months before varnishing and shipping. 6 months is the recommended amount of time for drying😊

I’ve bought some shoes with better grip!! So hopefully no more accidents😅 Thank you!

Oh yes thank you, I do find that really helpful when I remember to do it! Ah thanks a lot 🥹🫶
Muscle spasms are absolutely no joke. Please take care of yourself and get whatever treatment you need to look after yourself. Love your work.

This is amazing advice thank you! I’m constantly scared it’s going to happen again so will be getting some magnesium asap! 🙌
