They don’t really have any big time playmakers on offense. They methodically beat you down in the trenches. Mater Dei will match them on the lines, have better coaching and most importantly a better QB! Mater Dei will handle Bosco again!

Unfortunately Bishop Amat wasn’t on the same level on either side of the ball. They truly need a taller QB to be able to see over the line and be a threat in the air as well as on the ground. I still remember Amat as back in the day part of the Angeles league when they were a definite threat.

Amat should be pretty good this year given the heavy recruiting by Villasenor. He is targetting the IE hard which is where most of the talent is. Of course Bosco will play better teams.. they're Trinity league the SEC of high school football. But Amat and the other teams in SoCal still play at a high level - MV, Poly, Sierra Canyon, Serra Gardena, Oaks Chrisitian to name a few.
