Just seeing this video now, and I realize its old, but wouldn't something like ortho bug defense work better for driving and stuff? I actually keep a little spray bottle in my camper. Since its a spray it dries on there and stays for a couple months. The powder seems like it would have to be applied every trip. But good points on applying it to the water hose and electric outlets too.

Yeah, the spray is an option too. I find it doesn’t last very long but might be a better choice for a long term or seasonal location.

Great info. we have only had a few ants in on one occasion so has not been a problem thus-far but will keep in mind if this happens again.

@@LifeonOURtime Sure, no problem. I subscribed awhile ago, but haven't had time to watch till just now. You have some interesting titles I will check out later.

Jurgen's Journeys I saw a reply on my tire video but I can’t access it. Our trailer is 7,000 pounds packed for camping, and 31 feet total length. Over 24 feet long and sway starts to come into play. Our travel trailer is also taller than most, so it catches more wind. I’ve also had a tech at a local RV place tell me when Ford went to the aluminum F150, sway became more prevalent as the truck lost 700 pounds of weight.

We are struggling with this right now. I put out traps and that seems to be helping but I know they are coming up through the slide. I never thought to do this. I'm going to give it a try.

I happened to have some DE on hand, so I did a little experiment... Trapped an ant with a cup and sprinkled DE all around the rim. Lifted the cup... The little bugger went right over it... I guess the ants we have in Texas are a bit more tenacious...

Forgotten Winter Haha no worries. I’ve even read of it being used on dogs for flea and tick control, although I have no plans of testing that one out!

There are 2 types of D.E. it is a KNOWN CARCINOGENIC. Do some research before you start slinging this stuff everywhere.
